Welcome to "Downton" Asbury, a comfortable, family-friendly home tucked into Asbury Park's walkable waterfront district, where you're 3-7 minutes on foot from The Stone Pony, The Wonder Bar, Asbury Lanes, the Empress Hotel's famous Tea Dance, and the boardwalk itself. Cookman Avenue's restaurants and shops are just as close. Leave the car - everything worth walking to is walkable, and Instacart or Wegman's handles the rest.

INSIDE
Sleep 8+ across 4 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins and 3 full bathrooms. The twins can convert to a king if you prefer, foam spacer and mattress cover are located in the middle bedroom on the 2nd floor and sheets are in the linen closet. ACs in every bedroom and living room.

The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking; pots, pans, silverware, dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, electric coffee pot (drip), microwave, dishwasher and all the small appliances you'd expect from home.


THE GARDEN
Guests consistently tell us the garden is their favorite part of their stay, and we agree. Dine al fresco at a teak table for six, fire up the Weber grill (the season starts with two gas tanks; guests are responsible for refills) and unwind by the water fountain in a backyard that feels like a private escape in the middle of town. You can feel the ocean air and hear the Stone Pony shows.

BEACH SUPPLIES
We stock most essentials: 2 bikes, 8-10 beach chairs, 2 coolers, a beach buggy, towels, plus 2 adult and 2 senior beach passes (guests are responsible if passes are lost.)

Also included: washer/ 2 dryers, a spare full-size fridge, and WiFi.

Street parking only - pay by app, or head two streets over to free street parking starting at Grand Avenue.
More than one dog requires pre-approval.

Your host is responsive and available throughout your stay, ask any of our repeat guests.

This rental was everything we hoped for and more! It is walking distance to everything, very clean, and spacious. Lisa was easy to communicate with and was a wonderful hostess. I would definitely recommend her place and I hope to visit again!

Classic home with all baths and kitchen recently updated. Relax on the front porch and grill your fresh food from the nearby farmers market in the beautifully landscaped back garden while listening to the property-wide music system.Short walk to the beach and boardwalk.Lisa was readily available for any questions/check in/check out.Excellent stay!

The house was perfect for our family, and Lisa was an amazing host! She was very communicative the entire time leading up to the trip, and even during, by helping us with parking and extension questions. Each couple had their own room, and there were plenty of towels and beach chairs for us to enjoy. Can't beat the short walk to the beach / Stone Pony, but the quiet book and backyard made it feel like we were in our own little oasis the whole week.We'll definitely be back!

Lisa was the consummate host. The prior tenants had ripped the door knob off one of the bathroom doors and she was there herself to replace it within an hour of our check in. The house was very clean and the AC units in each room really helped ! Excellent LOCATION just steps away from the beach and walking distance to all the terrific restaurants that Asbury has to offer. The backyard was amazing - a beautiful serene garden with a ton of privacy. Would definitely recommend- and book again in future.

The house really fit our family, was well equipted with outdoor Weber grll, a well equiipted kitchen, beach passes and chairs.The Lisa, the owner, was very responive to any questions we had during the whole trip and very helpful. We really enjoyed the front porch, especially during the one thunder storm we had. We dont get that in CA.The location is excellent. 3 blocks from the beach, 1/2 mile from Cookman Ave is where there is shopping and great restaurants. The beaches are clean and staffed by life gards. There is something for kids and adultsI would highly recommend this property

An Oasis in Asbury Park!

Our family of three and two dogs had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. We especially enjoyed the porch and the back yard. It was awesome to see the trees and flowers bloom during our stay! Lovely neighborhood- walking distance to downtown as well as the beach - you couldnt have picked a better spot!

Lisa has an absolutely beautiful home. And it is in a wonderful location. It is the essence of relaxation from sitting on the front porch with the big beautiful ceiling fans to relaxing in the backyard and having a barbecue the house has absolutely everything you could want in a beach house And Lisa is an exceptional host. I stayed here twice. I’m gonna stay here a lot more.

Lisa was an excellent host for my mom and her friends as they celebrated their 57th (!) high school reunion down the shore during off season. Lisa was fast and communicative about initial questions ahead of booking as well as check-in day. My mom and her guests were wow'ed by the location, how comfortable and spacious the house was, and most of all, the beautiful garden! They spent as much time out there as possible. Would absolutely stay again!

From the get go Lisa was communicative and responsive for any questions and concerns. The property was exactly as described and such a wonderful location. Close to the beach and town…we were able to walk pretty much everywhere! The backyard was our little oasis and we were so happy to have it. The house is stocked with all the supplies you could ever need, was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely look to return to this property in the future and hope to create more memories there, thank you Lisa!

We loved the house which was well equipped. We cooked a lot. We relaxed in the beautiful garden listening to the music from the Stone Pony, a block away. Lisa was very accommodating. The boardwalk and beach were only 2 blocks away.

Loved this place! Porch ruled.

Home is comfortable and cozy and close to the beach - overall great place. Walked into town, walked on the boardwalk...We were 8 adults which included the two of us and our adult kids. It was a very fun place to be. Best night was grilling out back and late dinner around the table. All around fun and house has everything you need. Lisa made everything easy.

This home is amazing! An ideal location for our group, walking distance to EVERYTHING: beach, Porta, The Stone Pony, Cookman Ave. This street is a hidden gem in Asbury. Worthy of mentioning is the retreat” of a backyard, a comfortable front porch, stylishly updated & decorated interior with everything we needed. Lisa treated me as if we were lifelong friends and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was top notch/5 star. We hope to return for another summer getaway!

Lisa’s house was absolutely perfect for our week at the beach. The location could not have been better with just a few minutes walk to the boardwalk and beach. It was also walkable to downtown Asbury and parking only got a little tricky on Saturday. Also notable, for such a lively neighborhood, the house was on a quiet block which was really great. The house itself was a perfect layout for 2 to 3 families, there was so much space to spread out and all the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable. The backyard was huge and perfect for dinners outside or laying out during the day. The porch was also such a great place to hang out and people watch. Lisa was super responsive and made everything so simple. I can’t wait to come back next summer.
