Enjoy a getaway in our charming home in Asbury Park. The location is ideal – on a quiet street close to everything this awesome little city’s has to offer. Walk to the beach/boardwalk, downtown dining, nightlife, grocery store, etc. Even the train station is just a few blocks away so no need to drive. Couples, families, and groups of friends are all welcome.

The split level unit has a private entrance with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room with TV, 1 full bathroom, high speed WiFi and central air conditioning. The covered front porch has seating available for guests to enjoy cups of coffee/glasses of wine while the first floor is owner occupied. Ample free street parking is available.

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is located within walking distance to the Asbury Park beach area and downtown. The home has all the amentities needed, tasteful decor, and a great front porch. There are stairs to reach this upper level apartment. Doug was very friendly and hospitable, he even provided beach passes for us all. We would definately stay here again for our next visit to Asbury Park.

Great, relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful family vacation here! The town is fun and everything we wanted to do was walkable. The porch is amazing! Great fun and lots to do!

Perfect and beautiful place with amazing location

Doug was kind and a perfect host! Such a beautiful place, perfectly adorned. Spacious, new appliances. The perfect getaway. Close, walk to downtown, close walk to the boardwalk. Never had to move the car all weekend. Truly perfect accommodations, with a fantastic host!

Down the Shore again

Our family makes a point to get down to Ocean Grove or Asbury Park once a summer. Doug's house was a lovely place to stay. The front porch is beautiful, and the second and third floor spaces are immaculate and comfortable. Doug was a gracious host, very accomodating and informative. We'd happily return!

Asbury Park hidden gem

From the reservation to check out we had the best time ever. My family totally enjoyed the home and the amenities provided. Doug is a great host and stays out of your way unless you need him. Absolutely Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommend! From the moment we arrived, this place exceeded all our expectations. Girls' Weekend Away!

Thank you for a perfect stay in Asbury Park for a weekend away, just the ladies! This house was cute, clean, and oh so calm! It was sufficiently stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities, along with supplies for the beach, which was an unexpected surprise! Whatever we forgot at home, Doug's house had, plus some. Doug was very responsive to communication, and bent over backwards to accommodate and work with our group on arrival/checkout, since everyone's travel plans differed. Thanks again for an awesome break away from the norm!!

Obvious from the photos, this property is gorgeous! The front porch area has filled in and it's so private and a great space for hanging out. The three bedrooms are large and have everything you need, even extra pillows and towels. The bathroom is stocked with essentials, even tweezers and a sewing kit, shaving kit -- I mean, Doug has really thought of everything! We didn't have to bring a thing to stay here. And what we needed, we walked a block to Dollar Tree to buy. We also walked five minutes to the downtown area (upon Doug's recommendation) for dinner and it's so cute down there! So much to do right around this area. We love coming to Asbury Park and this home is beautiful and comfortable and the owner really exceeds expectations to make your stay as stress-free as possible. We used his beach tags, chairs, towels, umbrella, even the bikes. It was a fantastic vacation and renting this home was a big part of that. Thank you!

Thoughtful touches

In addition to providing linens and towels, Doug had stocked beach bags, toiletries, snacks and some water bottles. The apartment was comfortable and charming. The porch was amazing and we wish we had time to enjoy it more. The bikes were very convenient to getting to the festival. Doug was responsive about the ice maker not working and quickly went out and purchased a large bag of ice. Just a note that the steps are narrow and steep, as you would find in vintage houses. Doug was kind enough to carry our suitcase up though! Very walkable to town, never had to move our car.

Amazing stay in Asbury Park!

We’ve just returned home from an amazing stay in Asbury Park. Doug was an extremely gracious and accommodating host. Communications were very easy and thorough during our stay. He met us when we arrived and showed us the space, and provided us with detailed information about the house and the area including many great restaurant recommendations. Two bikes were available to use during the stay which I loved. The house is very well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. The front porch which was ours to use during the stay is so beautiful and comfortable. We spent many hours on the porch talking, reading and relaxing. The perfect spot for coffee in the morning and a cocktail at the end of the day. We fully enjoyed all of the things Asbury Park has to offer. The beaches are gorgeous and are an easy bike ride or walk from the house. The downtown area is also an easy 3-4 block walk and there are many great shops and restaurants. If you’re a music fan, the Stone Pony and Wonder Bar are also just a short walk/ride away. This was the perfect mix of relaxing beach time and fun activities for my husband and I and our teenage/young adult kids.

Amazing location

My fiancé and I and few college friends met In asbury for a wedding held at porta! This stay was wonderful location. Walking distance to venue, beach, downtown and more. Plenty of parking! Very clean and comfortable. Host was fantastic and allowed us to check in a bit early to drop off things and touch up before the wedding. 10/10 recommend :)

The Porch!

Yes, I love the shore but I LOVED hanging out on this comfy porch with my adult kids. There was a beautiful, blooming hibiscus plant on the porch, and tomato and cucumber plants ready for the picking. Doug was a wonderful host. His house is charming and conveniently located near restaurants and shops in downtown Asbury Park. It's only a 10-minute walk to the beautiful beach. We will definitely be back!

Outstanding Vacation!!!

This is my second time staying at Doug's beautiful home and definitely not the last. First, out of the dozens of rentals I've experienced over the years, Doug is the absolute head-and-shoulders above the rest best of them all. Gracious, attentive, and thoughtful - simply made everything great. Second, the location is fantstic - easy walk to nightlife and beaches. Parking also easily accessible all around the house. Third, the place is perfectly maintained and clean. Very easily accommodated our group of five adults. The porch is the real bonus with comfortable seating, beautiful plants, and ceiling fans to keep everyone cool. 100% recommend!

I'm from New Jersey and my partner is from northern Minnesota. Our shared interests include New Jersey Devils ice hockey, gardening (vegetables and flowers), international travel and enjoying a bottle of wine on the front porch. We've been in our home in Asbury Park for over fifteen years and are proud of the extensive renovations and improvements that we implemented ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Asbury Park is a very special place. It's known for its beautiful beaches and boardwalk, vibrant music scene (made famous by Bruce Springsteen), art galleries, numerous restaurants, bars and dance clubs. There is the right mix of small town friendliness and big city sophistication so that the energy is at the same time relaxing, vibrant and magnetic. Plus its easily reached in about 90 minutes by train or car from Newark, NYC or Philadelphia.

We offer clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations with a front porch that is perfect for lounging on pleasant days and balmy evenings. Our home is perfectly situated between the waterfront and downtown so it's an easy walk to breakfast and dinner as well as to the beach/boardwalk.
