About this property

Adorable house in charming Chianti hamlet btwn Siena, Arezzo and Florence

Casa Secciano is located strategically between these 3 artistic cities allowing for easy access to tourist sites, but at the same time allowing for relaxing moments in the country.
This newly renovated house is located in a small hamlet with 4 Italian families who live here throughout the year. Other inhabitants choose this as the perfect location for their summer vacations since the climate is ideal and the views are breathtaking.

Casa Secciano is situated on 2 levels. On the first level one finds a large dining area with open fireplace, a separate living room with sleeping couch (couch accommodates 2) and television. The kitchen has all basic utensils and a 4 range stove and oven. Where possible the walls expose beautiful stone architecture warming the house in all corners and giving it a special look.
On the second level there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and laundry machine.
There is a queen sized bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other.
The house has a large private stoned terrace with table and chairs and a grassy area for relaxation.
Private parking is available next to the house.

Charming Tuscan Villa

We enjoyed 4 nights in this charming Tuscan villa. Gianna is a lovely person and hostess, and we had more than enough room to relax as a family of four. We enjoyed the sunset views over the olive tree groves, dinners in the cozy dining room, and delicious jam, honey, olive oil and wine, all from our hostess. Thank you, Gianna!

La dolce vita

Coming to Tuscany we were looking for a special place to stay just like we see in movies. Thanks to Gianna’s property we were able to discover the life under the Tuscan sun. The architecture of the house, the landscape, the flowers, and the view from the pool was just what we were looking for. It was so clean and felt great on a hot day. Our kids couldn’t get enough. Gianna took great attention to give us olive oil, wine, breakfast items, and homemade jam. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The pizzeria, pastry and coffee shop, and grocery store in Cavriglia were all excellent choices for food. The house is an hour from Florence and Siena so we did day trips and came back to the pool after long days of walking. It was hard to leave but we would definitely come back again.

Het huis is eenvoudig uitgerust maar schoon en netjes. De tuin en het zwembad zijn prachtig en het uitzicht is formidabel. De ontvangst door Gianna was heel hartelijk en gedurende ons verblijf was zij steeds bereikbaar en zeer vriendelijk. Het enige minpunt was dat de wifi verbinding niet werkte en het internet bereik op deze locatie erg slecht is. We hebben een prima verblijf gehad.

Agréable maison au calme avec une piscine royale

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable dans cette location située dans un petit hameau tranquille. La piscine est vraiment le clou de la maison avec une vue splendide sur la vallée. Florence, Sienne sont à une heure de route, des villages très pittoresques à 30 mn en voiture. On a bien profité aussi des produits locaux. Merci à Gianna et son mari pour leur accueil.

Nice place to stay

Very good location, quiet and peaceful. Nice pool and pergola. The house itself is country style with thick walls so it is cool inside but there is also air conditioning in the bedroom. Maybe there could be more kitchen equipment. The owners live next door, but they are very decent, so there is much privacy. We liked our stay very much.

Relax in mezzo alla natura

Casa Secciano è una soluzione ottima per rilassarsi in mezzo alla natura. Pur essendo lontana dal turismo, in poco tempo si possono raggiungere le principali attrazioni. Gianna è stata molto gentile e disponibile, non ci è mancato nulla! Esperienza memorabile, molto consigliata!!

Merci Gianna et Alessandro pour ce séjour restera dans notre mémoire. Merci pour votre discrétion et ces petite attention à l’arrivée ( confitures, miel, huile d’olive… tout fait maison). Merci de votre gentillesse! Cette vieille bâtisse parfaitement rénovée dans le style de la région… superbe: fonctionnelle, fraîche (malgré un été très chaud), très propre, bien équipée… et cette maison etait juste pour nous! Le jardin… vue imprenable sur les collines Toscane !Magnifique!! Parfaitement aménagé, avec une piscine superbe dans un calme absolu… seul au monde ! Le hameau se situe à 500m d’altitude, parfait pour respirer de l’air frais. Il est situé sur les pentes de Neri, dépendant de Cavriglia. 1h00 pour Florence ou Sienne, 1h40 pour Pise. … si on avait su, on aurait loué pour 2 semaines! Merci encore

Relax e ospitalità

Casa Secciano è stata un'ottima scelta per una vacanza di relax e buon cibo nel Chianti, insieme al nostro cane. Abbiamo apprezzato la sua posizione appartata e tranquilla, ma non troppo distante da ottimi ristoranti e luoghi da visitare. Stupenda la piscina con vista a uso esclusivo, nella cui area poteva accedere anche il cane, essendo il terreno completamente recintato. L'appartamento è molto carino, dotato di ogni comfort, così come la cucina è fornita di tutto, anche sale, spezie e caffè. L'attenzione dei proprietari si nota dalle piccole cose, che fanno però la differenza: acqua fresca in frigo, marmellata fatta in casa, olio di produzione propria. Gianna e Sandro sono veramente gentili e disponibili, ti fanno sentire a casa. Sono stati di grande aiuto quando ne abbiamo avuto bisogno. Ancora grazie!Speriamo di tornare a trovarvi!

Petit coin de charme entre oliveraie et foret de chênes au coeur d un hameau 100% italien loin des foules touristiques des villes toscanes. Top pour se reposer apres des visites citadines! On peut même entendre à la nuit tombante des sangliers, chevreuils, hibou, chouette! Très bien située pour la route des vin du Chianti, Sienne, Florence, San Giminiano, Val d Orchia.... Ein kleines Stück Paradies

Secciano ist ein wunderschöner Ort, um einen ruhigen Urlaub zu verbringen. Das Haus ist funktional eingerichtet und wunderschön gelegen mit einem tollen Schwimmbad am Ende eines kleinen Weges. Gianna ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die bei Bedarf sofort reagiert und hilfsbereit ist. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! Danke Gianna für den tollen Urlaub!

endroit très calme et plaisant,Gianna et Sandro nous ont gâtés avec leur huile d'olive qui est excellente ,leur confiture pour nous accueillir ils nous ont fait un panier de raisins,figues et prunes un délice. La petite maison est bien fraîche,espace suffisant pour nous la piscine est superbe avec une très belle vue .Le petit village est très en pente ,besoin absolu d'une voiture . Location de qualité, Gianna est adorable, accueil parfait avec confitures et huile d’olive maison, charmant chemin menant à la piscine privatisée. Cadre exceptionnel, possibilité de prendre le train pour Firenze à Montevarchi, visites de Siena et San Gimignano par des routes en plein Chianti magnifiques. Endroit calme

Nous avons passé de belles vacances. Les habitants de Secciano, perchés le haut d'une colline, sont gentils (trop même). Jolie petite maison campagnarde, simple. Manque peut-être quelques ustensiles nécessaires dans la cuisine, comme cafetière pour nous belges, grille pains... Belle piscine, un peu éloignée de la maison mais avec vue superbe, on peut y voir quelques animaux comme des renards, biches, sangliers. Attention aux moustiques, très nombreux en cette période de l'année. Les propriétaires Gianna et son mari Sandro... que dire? Des gens extrêmement chaleureux et discrets, à l'écoute de leur locataire (nous les embrassons pour l'occasion). Belle région pour visiter, Montevarchi, Figline et leurs marchés, Radda, Lecchi où il y a un excellent restaurant (à conseiller). Si vous aimez le calme, la simplicité alors oui, je vous la conseille. Ivano M

Graziosa casa con bella piscina per giornate di relax. Buon punto di partenza per visitare le meraviglie della Toscana.Siamo una famiglia di Alessandria e abbiamo passato una bella settimana in questo bel posto per poi girare per la regione.
