This charming log cabin home is located in Franklin, NC nestled in a valley, surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. It's location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing but it's also just a short distance from endless possibilities for fun and adventure. When you step out on the screened back porch and take in the view, life slows down and seems more serene. With rustic mountain elegance, this hideaway is the perfect place for everything from romantic getaways to family gatherings.

The main level includes the master bedroom (with TV), full bath with shower, kitchen (fully equipped), dining area, game corner, living room with a TV and gas fireplace, screened porch and an outdoor gas grill.

The loft level includes a guest bedroom with 2 twin beds, a half bath and a reading area that overlooks the living room.

The basement level includes fun things like a ping pong table, foosball table, darts, air hockey & a treadmill along with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

The cabin has air conditioning and heating, cell service and Dish Network.
RENTAL IS STRICTLY AN ANIMAL-FREE ZONE DUE TO ALLERGIES.

Absolutely as described, very cozy cabin secluded but still fairly close to everything. Jeanette was wonderful, even left us a jar of her carrot cake jam very nice touch. Very clean cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rabbit Creek Hideaway! The listing and photos were very accurate, the cabin was extremely clean and the location was perfect for us (private, but so close to town). It was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was quick to respond when I had a question prior to our trip. A nice surprise was the personalized note and a jar of handmade jam that was waiting for us! Will definitely book this cabin or with this host again when staying in Franklin.

Silence is golden at Rabbit Creek.

We enjoyed the quiet of the area no matter what time of day we were rocking on the screened porch. The cabin is in a great location to have a fun day trip then return to the quiet.

Love this place

We were so busy rock hounding that we didn’t spend as much time at the cabin as originally planned, however it is an amazing place and the communication was stellar. We would highly recommend it to everyone.

Secluded feel but convenient location

The cabin was close to town yet felt like a secret hideaway! Very clean and homey. Lots of games, puzzles, table games, but we spent most time on the screen porch watching the cows, birds, and wildlife. Nice shower with plentiful hot water and strong pressure--have stayed in fancy hotels with a poorer shower than this one! Cozy loft and 2nd bathroom upstairs. Well equipped kitchen (bring coffee/tea and water if you're not used to well water) for staying in and cooking. One of those places you hate to leave when your time is up. Definitely will return!

Utterly relaxing, excellently maintained.

The cabin was utterly delightful. It was well stocked with everything we might need. It had many books, games, jigsaw puzzles. The screen porch and the swing were wonderful with a gorgeous view. I totally recommend this cabin for four people and very much look forward to going back again myself.

So much to say about the cabin !!!! It was hands down great for a girls trip! The hostess was so friendly and welcoming! If there was a problem with anything they had little notes that could help you out of the situation . Anything and everything was right there. Hopefully we get to come back next year.

This was our fourth or fifth visit. We love it.

The property is clean and inviting, with lovely views of raspberry fields and hills dotted with peaceful cows. The owners have stocked the house well and it it a perfect base camp from which to explore the area. We love the Nantahala National Forest especially.

Polar Express Weekend

We chose to stay at this location for a fun weekend taking our little one to the Polar Express over in Bryson City. Beautiful drive about 40 minutes away. The hosts did a wonderful job decorating the cabin for Christmas - it felt like a home away from home!

Perfect Getaway

We came here to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary and this little cabin was ideal. Conveniently located close to town but still secluded and private, the setting was perfect for us. We could sit on the back porch overlooking the mountains and watch cows grazing in the valley below. The gas logs provided a cozy atmosphere in the early morning chill. I almost wish we had brought a couple of grandchildren with us to take advantage of the wonderful game room in the basement and the story book upstairs to this wonderful cabin!

This was our 2nd year in a row spending mother’s day weekend at this cabin and we had another Great time! The beds are super comfy and each room having its own climate control is great. It’s super private yet just a few minutes from town. Super clean and had everything we needed plus some. But my favorite special touch was the personalized card welcoming us back.

The Perfect Hideaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. The view from the back porch was beautiful with cows grazing on rolling hills to the left and then dogwood trees, a field with blackberry bushes and a great mountain view. Lovely place

Jeannie's cabin is very nice and cozy. She left us some stockings with our names and our kids were very surprised and pleased . She even had a Christmas tree and some Christmas decoration which made the holiday season nicer. The cabin has 2 rooms which were Big and specious. Great for a family of 4. Overall we had a great time!
