It makes us smile knowing Sundial T401 gave you that “easy to check‑in and instantly feel at home” vibe. That’s exactly what we hope every guest experiences. You were a delight to host, and we’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing stay on the island.
The property was clean and spacious with great beds. It was easily accessible and the description was accurate for the property.

Tired
This property needs some serious TLC - Duck tape on the doors/ TV's are sideways and can't move/ TV in master did not work (replaced batteries, still no luck) Master Shower was a mess/ Ceiling tile fell twice and actually landed on a guest with scrathes on her leg - some bugs on wall in dining area - (nothing that we didn't kill) fan on lanai did not work, reached out to mgmt' and got a response 2 days later. The living area had nice couches and the kitchen was clean. They have on website that pool was in complex but it is not openned yet - which is fine but you have to pay 12 pp per day to access to the Sundail pool - It isn't about what they say, it's about what they don't tell you - the condo was fine but dissappointing - you could stay at a brand new room at the Sanilbel Hotel for less and it would be nicer.
Beautiful property, the grounds are well kept, pool was clean. We had to call maintenance for a clogged tub and they responded quickly.
Not as clean as I would have liked inside. The living room floor was a bit sandy when we arrived, the refrigerator had food on the outside of it.
We loved the size of the dining room table and extra chairs and the big table on the Lanai.
The condo was listed to accommodate/sleep 8. We arrived late on a wknd to find no bedding for the pull out couch and it hadn't been cleaned out, lots of food crumbs from previous people. We bought an air mattress and had to buy 4 more beach towels so we all had one. There were not enough cooking/serving dishes for 8 and nothing to carry food to and from the grill and no grilling utensils.
We love Sanibel/Captiva and vacation here often. We have never experienced not having enough to accommodate our large family.

not ready
I was first to stay in the unit post hurricanes and it was not ready. There are no blinds on the window in main room or master. Temporary curtain in master that do not fit. Glaring sun during the day and on full display at night. Several closet are full of construction things so unusable. I was told there was a ground floor storage unit for beach equipment but it was locked. Beach chairs have seen better days. The pools for the unit are not open. The main complex pool has day passes for 125 per day for two. The rental company offered a pool that is a 25 minute drive away. It is very nice but I was threatened there by an employee about the parking pass that was issued. One of dining chairs broke while sitting in it because they were not put together properly. Extra pillows but no cases. The complex and unit just opened and really just not ready yet. Not even a hose to rinse off sand from the beach. Lots of construction on the grounds. Location is great and there is nice view from the porch. It has potential but is clearly just not ready for the price.

Dirty! Dirty! Cockroaches and more Cockroaches!!!!!
Property was very dirty. We had to call the rental agency to have the floors cleaned the day we got there. We had 2 children under 2 in the condo and we were so concerned. The worse part were the cockroaches that we had to deal with all week. They were in the kitchen and horrible. Thank goodness we stored our food in the upper cabinets. We didn't call because the cleaners apparently do not do the kitchen. There were so many items missing from the condo. It was so poorly stocked. Needed more dishes, silverware, cooking pans that did not have all their coating missing, no wine glasses, glasses and dishes that were chipped. Knives that are actually sharp. Could not believe that there was no salt and pepper shakers or any type of spices that couldbe bought at the dollar store. We had to buy a $6 box of coffee filters that had 80 in them to make 7 pots of coffee. Left them hidden hopefully for the next occupant. The bathroom rug was in tatters and looked at least 10 years old and was filthy. The electrical outlets did not work on the counter or on the wall of mirrors. The light in the living room was poor (one lamp). The rugs in the bedrooms needed a cleaning or to be redone. The size of the condo was great and layout but that is the only good thing I can say about it.

Antoinette,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and all this feedback. We do apologize for the unit not being cleaned to your standards. Most of our cleaners do a fabulous job and we don't receive calls. I am sorry that this wasn't the case for you and your family. We have looked into which one of our cleaners was scheduled for that unit and we did have a team meeting. We also have done a full inventory of the condo and have requested the owners to purchase these missing items, along with others, which they have since done. That being said, with health code restrictions we are not allowed to leave anything, even spices, in the units.
Being on a barrier island, it is common for Florida Palmetto Bugs to be seen. However, we have done a terminex spray since your stay and we have not had any issues since.
The other items have also been addressed!
Again, we are sorry that this unit did not accommodate you and your family well but please know that we manage over 120 properties and we would love to help you find the perfect next place!

Had to Cancel due to Hurricane Ian
Please ignore the rating as I cant make a review since we had to cancel due to approaching Hurricane Ian. Fortunately we did cancel as Sanibel took a direct hit by the hurricane and we would have had to evacuate.
Nice location and roomy condo for four of us, did not use third bedroom.
Had a nice relaxing time, pool and beach access was very close and both had minimal people. The only negative is the condo wasn't very clean, there was still sand all over the floors and on the dining table as well as the bathrooms needed to be cleaned and wiped down to remove dirt and hairs.
This space was in an extremely convenient and beautiful location. Lots is space allowed us to feel at ease with our group and their belongings. Easy access to the beach was wonderful, and even though our pool was under construction during our stay, the ability to use the neighboring units was sufficient.
We loved the location on this property and liked how the beach was not as crowded here as in other areas along the island. The condo is nice and clean; however, I would suggest to the owners to leave more dishwashing pods and garbage bags. The beds are in need of new pillows. For as much as you pay to stay, these would be simple ways to improve guests stay and help keep it tidy during the stay!
Roomy condo with nice balcony, pool and easy ocean access. Very easy to work with.

Only a fair condo.
Only a fair condo. Dated. Old refrigerator didn’t work when we got there. Toilet plugged up several times( old style low flush toilet). Weak WiFi TVs not Smart TVs except one Excellent communication
Pros - size of rooms, view, amenities
Cons - couches need cleaned, they are beautiful but on the ends they are showing and feeling grimey. We had planned to use the pull out couch as a bed but it was very uncomfortable until we moved the mattress to the floor for kids and then that worked just fine. The icemaker didn't make any ice at all but we were able to work around that as the fridge kept our things good and cold.
Overall would definitely stay here again! Beach was amazing and pool was great temperature!

The condo was perfect for our party of five.
The condo was perfect for our party of five. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, cook and eat in the condo, and plenty of space to spread out. Will definitely plan to stay on Sanibel in the future and use Sanibel Captiva Vacation Rentals again.
