This wonderful private condo, with a beautiful vaulted wood ceiling in the living area, offers two full bathrooms, one bedroom with a king bed, a sleeping loft with two twin beds, and a queen size Murphy wall bed that includes a very comfortable queen mattress. The condo sleeps up to 5 persons in great comfort. The dining table also offers seating for six.

Because our condo is a top floor/end unit, it is one of the most private and quiet condos within the property. The bedroom, kitchen and both bathrooms are all on an exterior wall and there is no one above you.

Gourmet kitchen includes high-end alder cabinetry, quartz countertops and all new appliances, including washer & dryer. There is wood-look tile flooring in the kitchen, living area and hall.

Two full bathrooms have been updated, one with a walk-in shower and the other with a deep soaking bathtub with shower. There are alder wood doors and extensive woodwork within the condo, including new carpet in the master bedroom.

This is an excellently maintained property and offers a fantastic location in Vail Village on the edge of Gore Creek and within steps of many restaurants, shops, ski lifts and Ford Park for summer and fall activities. The property offers two hot tubs on a deck and an outdoor pool heated year-round. There is a ski shuttle managed by our staff that runs daily in the winter months as an option to walking to and from the ski lifts. Our very popular shuttle runs every 15 minutes in the morning and every 30 minutes in the afternoon.

Condo 401 has only ONE reserved parking space and it’s in the underground parking garage. It is located on the lower bottom level of the garage and is marked as space 401. Full size cars and SUV’s should clear the garage, however, oversized vehicles will not. There is a 79” height limit. There are also a few additional guest parking spaces located on the top deck of the garage. You will need a guest-parking pass from the front office to use one of these guest spaces. They are very limited and not always available.

Great stay excellent location

Kids had an absolute blast spending the night up in the loft and swimming in the heated pool. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed having wine on the deck as well as walking all the beautiful paths around the property

This is a great condo within walking distance to Vail Village. The view is incredible and the space is perfect for small groups that want to enjoy skiing or just relax at a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Vail.

We came to see a concert, and the condo was with in walking distance to the amphitheater. The host was magnificent, super helpful and communicated with us and responded to our questions within mins!! We had a great time in the condo. Kids loved the loft area and the swimming, and we all enjoyed the outdoor patio area. The condo had plenty of room for our family of 5.

Great Stay!

We attended the GoPro games and this a perfect location. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub downstairs. The condo has an amazing view and you can hear the river right outside the patio. The accommodation's were great! The owner was very helpful and fast to respond!

Family ski weekend

This is a great condo! Beautiful view of slopes and an easy walk to the village and lifts. Condo also has a very convenient shuttle. The inside of the condo is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. Craig provided lots of area information and responded immediately to my questions. Would definitely choose this again if we are back in Vail.

Excellent property in great location

Spent 2 weeks and had a great time. Property is extremely well equipped with everything you might need and was a great place to return to after a day on the slopes. A few minutes walk to the lift but there is also shuttle available. Great communication with the host and all arrangements made with a hitch. Definitely recommend this property

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in Vail. This condo is in a great location, an easy walk to Vail Village on the creek side trail. A beautiful walk! The unit is very well stocked with everything you could need and then some. The patio looks out over the creek and the sound is so soothing. Craig was great to communicate with, very friendly and helpful.

Vail Getaway

The unit itself was spacious and clean and very well thought out. Nothing was missing as far as amenities and communication with the owner was easy. The view and location were fantastic. We were able to look at the mountains and enjoy the babbling Gore Creek below. The unit is a short walk to Vail Village, along the creek, and it has easy access to route 70.

Amazing as always!

This is our third stay in Craig’s condo. It’s our favorite place to stay as a family. Kids LOVE the loft. Really comfortable beds. Picture perfect view. Wonderful location with a great pool and hot tubs. The condo is perfectly clean and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in the property. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The condo was gorgeous, well-equipped and within walking distance of anything you needed. Didn't get into a car for a full seven days. Perfect vacation. Craig and Debbie were excellent hosts and offered great suggestions of where to eat, where to go and what to do.

Beautiful Vail

Everything about this condo was amazing. Clean, convenient and had the most beautiful views! I loved the location right above Gore Creek. The loft had excellent views for the kids to enjoy as well, right from their beds. Owner/manager made us feel so welcome. There is not one thing we would change!

Great Stay for a week of Skiing!

Cozy clean and affordable stay. Well equipped kitchen, it has everything you need along with basic spices and cooking extras. We had 4 adults not related and used the 2 twins in the loft. I found them to be very comfortable. The fire plaxe was great too. Perfect view of the slopes with a nice balcony to relax on. The hot tubs and pool were warm and clean. Shuttle service was convenient. Craig, the host was very informative and always available to answer questions. Highly recommend! Would stay there again! slopes ans

Perfect Location

This is a fantastic location to stay in Vail. You are right on the the path to walk into Vail Village and never need your car. The balcony is priceless! The sound of water below with the Gore River is soothing and peaceful. I have stayed at many VRBO places and Craig is the most attentive and friendly host with excellent communication. Put this place on your bucket list!

Craig, was extremely helpful. He sent us an information sheet on the condo and all relevant information needed prior to our arrival. He checked on us regularly to make sure everything was OK including when we left. The condo itself was very clean and all amenities were present. It was perfect for our family. The location was excellent. The view of the mountains from the condo porch was beautiful. I would stay here again and plan to do so in the future. I highly recommend this unit.

Vail Village Hidden Gem

I almost don’t want to tell anyone about this hidden gem. Amazing week and the condo was one of the reasons for this great week. Completely updated soup to nuts. 10/10! Perfection!!

First, Craig was so amazing to work with. Our original trip came during quarantine days and Craig generously allowed us to reschedule without penalty - something he did not have to do. This meant so much to us as many VRBO owners were not being as kind. For that reason alone, I would book with him again. The condo was 10/10 in all aspects. Clean, great layout, excellent location and the views were spectacular. Another bonus were the hummingbirds zipping around the balcony. We will definitely be back!

Couldn’t be better!

We have been coming to Vail for the last 6 years. Normally we stay at a hotel but wanted more space and a kitchen this year. This property was perfect! Updated, clean, comfortable, and spacious. My 2 oldest kids loved the loft as a little get away spot during rainy afternoons. Murphy bed was very comfortable as was the king bed. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge perk. Well appointed eat in kitchen. Had been a little concerned about interstate noise but we didn’t hear any interstate noise, especially creek side. Beautiful property that is worth a stay!

Peaceful Spot

While The Wren itself shows its age in some respects, you are pleasantly surprised when you enter this unit, which feels like your own private cabin on the mountain. From the balcony, there’s a spectacular mountain view, accompanied by the peaceful sound of Gore Creek babbling a few stories below. This unit really is a cozy place to end a day on the slopes, as you watch the snowcats get to work. The only “negative” I would say is the proximity to the lifts. It’s not a bad walk for the grown ups down to Golden Peak/Riva Bahn, but it wouldn’t be super easy with little ones, especially after a full day of skiing. That being said, The Wren has its own shuttle which runs like clockwork and is a great option if you don’t feel like walking. Finally, the owner is very communicative, which is nice in the event you have any issues. Highly recommend this unit.

Due to our passion for Vail, and particularly our experiences at The Wren and it's location within Vail Village, we were thrilled to have been able to purchase a condo there in 2014. We are excited that we are able to share this wonderful vacation location with our guests, as evidenced by our many positive reviews.

Why they chose this property

There is no better lodging value in Vail Valley than The Wren. Located high along the banks of Gore Creek, there are amazing vistas, including Golden Peak, Vail Ski Mountain and the Gore Range. No need to drive as you can walk to restaurants and shops, as we are a short six-minute walk to the heart of Vail Village via a picturesque trail along the Gore Creek. Throughout the winter months, The Wren’s daytime shuttle will take you back and forth from The Wren to within just a few steps of the Vail ski lifts at Golden Peak, the Vail Village transportation center and Lionshead Village. A large pool is heated all year, along with two hot tubs for soaking in both winter and summer. After the snow melts, The Wren is next door to Ford Park for a visit, which includes a playground, beautiful Betty Ford Alpine Gardens and entertainment at the Ford amphitheater all summer long. Walks, hikes and bike rides are all right outside your door.

What makes this property unique

The property enjoys a prime location in Vail Village and also within the building. The condo is on the top floor, far-west corner of The Wren. Since at the end of the building, this allows it to be more private than other units, as well as have some of the best views in the Vail Valley. The space is very efficiently laid out and it is very well maintained along with high-end finishes throughout. Our large outdoor balcony includes four Adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the view, whether it be snow-capped mountains, golden fall foliage or millions of stars on a clear night. Even while in the main living area of the condo, you feel as if you are part of the beautiful outdoors all of the time. We have equipped the condo nicely so you can live comfortably, including almost everything needed to cook, if desired. There is a new over-sized gas fireplace and a 55' screen TV in the living room, adding to your comfort and entertainment. Many previous guests tell us that they feel right at-home during their visit and that's important to us. All-in-all, staying in our condo will be the best Vail vacation that you are looking for!
