About this property

1A Newly renovated w/porcelain tile floors, custom cabinets, granite countertops

Unit 1A is located on beautiful Keawakapu Beach in gorgeous Wailea. This recently major renovated lower village, ground floor unit has two lanais; one off of the living room with a partial ocean view and one off the bedroom that is tropically landscaped. It is located away from the roads so that at night you can hear the ocean not traffic.

Enjoy a short 2 minute walk to Ekahi's large heated main pool, pavilion and beach or take a dip in the adjacent quiet pool!! There are 4 pools on property! There's easy access to the 2 mile oceanfront 'Wailea walk'. You can also walk to some of the nicest hotels on Maui and enjoy their restaurants, ocean activities and other amenities including: snorkeling, diving, kayak and sailboat rentals.

The air conditioned bedroom features a king size bed with blackout curtains. The separately air conditioned living room sleeps two on the new queen Murphy Bed. Both bathrooms are updated with showers. There is wireless internet, flat screen TV's with DVRs in Living Room and Bedroom, a stereo system with radio, CD player and iPod docking station. We provide free long distance phone calls to the US and Canada. This condo is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys.
Unfortunately the current Ekahi Board of Directors has had all grills removed from lanais following a recent grill fire at another Building. There are 4 gas grills and 1 charcoal grill at the pavilion.

An Ekahi Gem

We had a fabulous stay at Dan and Tere’s condo. It is beautifully decorated, quiet, perfectly stocked with stuff to get you started (laundry and dish detergent essentials etc) and a close walk to two pools including the main pavilion and bbqs. We love Ekahi and will absolutely book this unit here again!

Great Stay

We had a great time staying in 1A! The unit was well stocked and in a great location near one of the pools. The beach wagon, chairs and umbrella served us well and the Murphy bed was perfect for our daughter. We’ll definitely be back!

Quiet Wailea Ekahi

We love Wailea Ekahi and this recently remodeled condo was a family favorite. Steps from a quiet adult pool and a short walk to the beach. My husband, adult son and I had a great trip.

Comfortable Stay

This is a very nice property! Very clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you can think of and is very up-to-date. All of the beach chairs etc are newer and in good shape. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Another wonderful time at Ekahi 1A

This was our second time staying at this wonderful home. It was even better than the first with the fresh upgrades. Cannot recommend this property enough. It has it all! Great location, easy access to beaches, pools, shopping. We will be back for sure.

Great Ekahi Village unit

Enjoyed this unit, had everything we needed. This was our third time to Ekahi Village but first time at this unit and it did not disappoint. Owner communications prior to arrival was so good, and unit well stocked and looked after that we never had to reach out for any issue. Would stay in this unit next time we stay at WE.

Lovely condo

This was a a great place for our family of 4. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is a one bedroom and has a Murphy bed in the living room which was very comfortable . Worked out great for our kids to sleep on. The property was beautiful. Our kids loved the larger pool next to the beach. It has a lovely view and the sunset is spectacular. The location was great as well. Would definitely recommend!

Great unit. Well appointed and very comfortable! The owners and the owner representative were both very responsive and attentive. Location is great in the Village. A fairly easy walk down the hill to the pool and beach. We would definitely stay at 1A again, and recommend it to anyone interested. As a side note, we have been to Maui several times, and found the beach directly below Ekahi to be the most family friendly beach on the island!

Comfortable condo & great location in complex!

This was our 3rd time back to the Ekahi complex in different condos. The condo was very comfortable, welcoming, nicely furnished and clean. Although a more updated kitchen would be nice, it had everything we needed to prepare some great family meals. We liked the small private lanai off bedroom, and access to lanai from kitchen. Great location in complex - Perfect spot for our young kids and really appreciated the beach gear. Another wonderful vacation!

Another Wonderful Stay

This was our 3rd stay here over the Christmas holiday. An already nice place was remodeled since our last stay to be even more comfortable and convenient. It is nicely furnished and well stocked with everything you need to cook and also go to the beach. The complex is very nice with a beautiful pool area and beach. Plenty of room for parents and two teenagers. The hosts are extremely responsive and professional. Couldn’t be better. We will be back!

Quiet and family friendly with beautiful grounds!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ekahi Village. It was quiet and seemed to be the perfect place for families. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The condo had everything we could think to need and was very spacious and comfortable. There was a pool, bbq area, and tables right near the beach where you could chill, cook up, and watch the sunset. Get out there early if you’re wanting to grill up at sunset as everyone else is thinking the same thing. It was a great and relaxing stay! Just what we needed.

Nice condo, good value

The condo had everything we needed for our week-long stay in Maui. The kitchen has been nicely updated and was well-equipped. Beds were comfortable and we heard no noise at night (we're sensitive). We enjoyed using the lanai for our meals as well as visiting the beach and heated pool on site. We did run out of hot water every time all 4 of us needed a shower. Ekahi is one of our favorite places to stay on the island. It's not the most modern unit there, but the description is accurate and aligns well with the price.

We lived & worked in the Washington, DC area until we both retired and moved to the Austin, TX area at the beginning of 2008. We have owned adjacent Unit 1B since the beginning of 1999 and have gotten to know quite a bit about Wailea, Maui and Hawaii. We hope to share our knowledge of this enchanted Hawaiian island with you to make your vacation exceptional.

Why they chose this property

Haleakala (House of the Sun) at 10,026 feet protects Wailea on the sunny South Maui from much of the wind and rain experienced elsewhere on Maui. We think Wailea is the best location on Maui and that Ekahi Village provides the best oceanfront facilities for the price. The ocean front pool and pavilion provides refrigerators, microwaves, stoves and ovens, an industrial ice maker, ice and chilled water dispenser and large charcoal grill. Ekahi is a friendly property and the sunset cocktail banter among guests is about best beaches, restaurants and golf.

What makes this property unique

Our Condo 1A is in the interior and in the lower half of Wailea Ekahi Village. Being away from major roads provides the nightly sounds of the ocean - not traffic. The lower half means less of a walk to & from the pavilion and beach. There is a kitchen door to the lanai and a short walk across the driveway to a Quiet pool that is ideal for reading while lounging in the sun or shade. The 1st floor makes it easier to bring in luggage. beach gear or shopping bags and provides a larger lanai area for relaxing.
