Unit 1A is located on beautiful Keawakapu Beach in gorgeous Wailea. This recently major renovated lower village, ground floor unit has two lanais; one off of the living room with a partial ocean view and one off the bedroom that is tropically landscaped. It is located away from the roads so that at night you can hear the ocean not traffic.
Enjoy a short 2 minute walk to Ekahi's large heated main pool, pavilion and beach or take a dip in the adjacent quiet pool!! There are 4 pools on property! There's easy access to the 2 mile oceanfront 'Wailea walk'. You can also walk to some of the nicest hotels on Maui and enjoy their restaurants, ocean activities and other amenities including: snorkeling, diving, kayak and sailboat rentals.
The air conditioned bedroom features a king size bed with blackout curtains. The separately air conditioned living room sleeps two on the new queen Murphy Bed. Both bathrooms are updated with showers. There is wireless internet, flat screen TV's with DVRs in Living Room and Bedroom, a stereo system with radio, CD player and iPod docking station. We provide free long distance phone calls to the US and Canada. This condo is stocked with beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys.
Unfortunately the current Ekahi Board of Directors has had all grills removed from lanais following a recent grill fire at another Building. There are 4 gas grills and 1 charcoal grill at the pavilion.

We have owned adjacent Unit 1B since the beginning of 1999 and have gotten to know quite a bit about Wailea, Maui and Hawaii. We hope to share our knowledge of this enchanted Hawaiian island with you to make your vacation exceptional.
Why they chose this property
Haleakala (House of the Sun) at 10,026 feet protects Wailea on the sunny South Maui from much of the wind and rain experienced elsewhere on Maui. We think Wailea is the best location on Maui and that Ekahi Village provides the best oceanfront facilities for the price. The ocean front pool and pavilion provides refrigerators, microwaves, stoves and ovens, an industrial ice maker, ice and chilled water dispenser and large charcoal grill. Ekahi is a friendly property and the sunset cocktail banter among guests is about best beaches, restaurants and golf.
What makes this property unique
Our Condo 1A is in the interior and in the lower half of Wailea Ekahi Village. Being away from major roads provides the nightly sounds of the ocean - not traffic. The lower half means less of a walk to & from the pavilion and beach. There is a kitchen door to the lanai and a short walk across the driveway to a Quiet pool that is ideal for reading while lounging in the sun or shade. The 1st floor makes it easier to bring in luggage. beach gear or shopping bags and provides a larger lanai area for relaxing.
