Lovely Place, Lovely Manager
Very nice; clean, bright, spacious, and well-equipped. Manager provided us with a ton of informational material -- directions, instructions, etc. -- as well as great insights about navigating the neighborhood and getting around Rome, Manager was exceedingly professional and responsive and went above and beyond to attend to our needs. Definitely a great value. I can recommend this property without reservation.

Great stay!
The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Wonderfully located on the back side of the Vatican. I loved listening to St. Peter’s bells. The metro is perhaps two blocks away and it gets you where you want to go. Cristina was very kind and accommodating when we asked for an extra day. I’m very thankful for this apartment as it helped to make Rome a breeze. Thanks Cristina.

Fantastic apartment in a great location to explore Rome and Cristina, the owner is very friendly.
I would definitely recommend this apartment and would have no hesitation in recommending to my family and friends. A really comfortable apartment to come back to after a full day sightseeing. An excellent location in a quiet residential area with a view of the Dome of St. Peters Basilica. There is a Carrefour close by which is open 24 hours and a selection of reasonably priced restaurants and bars. The metro is a couple of minutes walk away which is very cheap to use and very reliable. We were met by Maria the owner who was very friendly and was more than happy to answer any of our questions and even gave us numerous contact numbers should we need to talk to her if we had any questions or problems. We had a great holiday and after experiencing the freedom of the apartment I would not stay in a hotel.

A wonderful Home Away from Home while in Rome !
We are two couples in our 50s and 60s from India. We stayed for 3 nights in Greensugar Home in Rome. GreenSugar Home proved to be the ideal home away from home for the four of us . The apartment is very aesthetically decorated and has all the modern conveniences that one needs. Wifi access is very good . It is located within an enclosed housing complex and is very secure. It is very close to the Vatican in a nice neighbourhood . The apartment is near to a Metro station and very close to shopping areas and has plenty of restaurants etc close by Most importantly, Cristina and her mother Carla were the perfect hosts. They were there in person to explain everything to us and were always accessible right through the time we were there . Cristina was kind enough to arrange transport for our needs through a reliable cab service at economic prices . They made our stay memorable We would strongly recommend Greensugar Homes to our friends who intend to travel to Rome !

Host profile image
Hi Everyone,
my name is Maria Cristina but everyone calls me Cristina since 1983 when I was born in Rome. I grew up in Rome and I really love my eternal city.
I'm an experienced host and I've always wanted to share all my knowledge about this wonderful city with people around me especially to those who visit it for the first time.
In my life I have always been involved into some touristic jobs because I love travelling.
I studied languages at school and I travelled a lot all around the world to improve my English. I thank my American family for helping me!
I started my working life being a cabin crew member for Alitalia and continued working on touristic "hop-on hop-off" double decker touristic buses in Rome.
My love and passion for this particular job blossomed after working like a receptionist in a famous Roman Hotel.
I decided to start my own job and being "the boss of myself" with my two apartments.
What is different? I'm not an agency, I'm a private owner and for me it's very important to get better each day of my life.
I started renting my apartments in 2006 and after over 10 years I can say I'm very satisfied and proud to manage my properties with love and care like a pro.
I met so many people from all around the world and I learned a lot for each one of them. Every single feedback from you is important! Every suggestion, tip or help is really appreciated!
I know how much important is for my guests to feel themselves at home when away from their country and I will always try my best to leave a memorable memory of my Rome!
I will be available for you night and day and of course I will be glad to host you in my apartments!
Feel free to write me all your questions or requests!
Take care,
Cristina
