The apartment was humble and comfortable. There was a market nearby which was convenient. It was quite a distance from sites we wanted to see, so taxi rides added up quickly, as we werent comfortable taking the metro due to pickpockets/crime. The main bed was fairly comfortable, the other beds were not. All told we enjoyed our stay in Rome

Great Place in Rome!

This was a great place to stay--comfortable, AC worked well, and just a 10-minute walk from the Metro. We were able to get around to all our sightseeing spots without difficulty.

Nice home base. Very clean. The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Lots of bus stops nearby along with the Battistini Metro A station within a 10 minute walk. Many stores to stock up for long stays. Thank you so much.

Place outside of Rome

The host is nice. Had some trouble getting the correct access key. The neighborhood is too far from the center of Rome. If you’re on a budget go here.

Great location

Not very far from central Rome just a bus stop and a ride on the metro. Had some problems on my end checking in and would just recommend that you get your own details down before heading out from the airport. Host was great and helped me get to the location. He waited for me even though I was late due to cancelled flights

Perfect location!

My wife and I stayed there for 3 weeks and felt very comfortable. This apartment is located in a perfect area that has bus lines right outside the front door and a farmers market right across the street. Just down the block is a grocery store with everything that you could need. A short bus ride takes you into town or you can ride the metro which is just down at the bottom of the Hill. The apartment has what you need except maybe a microwave. Guerrino is quick to respond to any questions or problems that may arise and lives just up stairs from where you're staying. We would certainly consider staying there again if we ever return to Rome.

Humble Arrangements, Quiet Neighborhood

Our first stay in Italy couldn’t have started off any better. Guerrino’s apartment was just as it was described. The market and shops around the neighborhood allowed my family and I to experience a perfect ‘movie-like’ setting of a humble Italian neighborhood. There are a couple of upgrades that would make this property a gem—mind you, without them, my wife and I would still come back. One upgrade suggestion would be a microwave oven. My family and I spent a week in Roma and we often brought back food. However, with no microwave, we chose not to use the oven to reheat our food. So, we ended up throwing out our leftover food (a travesty to say the least, as we had some amazing pasta e frijole and carbonara from an amazing ristorante). The other upgrade suggestion...the shower. The shower is small. Now, to be fair, I am 6 foot 2 inches tall and weigh about 290 pounds, so small is a relative term for a man my size. However, my wife and daughter, both substantially smaller in height and weight, found the shower a little tight. Yet, again, we managed and we would not hesitate booking this property even if the shower size was not upgraded. Lastly, I think a great asset is access to the public transportation. There is a bus stop, no more than 20 yards from the apartment complex, that runs every 10 - 12 minutes, and will drop you off right across the entrance to the Battastini Metro Station. If you choose to use the bus to get to Battastini Metro Station, take the 46b or 916. To get back to the neighborhood use the 46b or 983. Despite the ticket reader, it is free as we did as the Romans did—in fact, during our stay and use of the buses, we experienced only one instance where a rider swiped his metro card. Grazie Guerrino for allowing us to stay at your property. We can’t wait to come back. Ciao!

This apartment was excellent for our honeymoon. Outside the main area of Rome where things are quieter but a short walk to the train station to travel to main city area. Apartment was very clean and had all the proper amenities. The bed was a bit hard but we would not hesitate to book this property again. We were very happy with our stay here. The family running this apartment was very kind and helpful.

Rome with the Natives

This a great place to stay if you want to immerse yourself in the day to day culture of Rome. You get to interact with the people who live and work in Rome while having easy access to the city center and tourist attractions.This property is in a residential neighborhood away from crowds of tourists you get to interact with people who live and work in the neighborhood. There is easy access to a number of good places to eat with the residents and stores where you can get groceries and anything else you may need. Access to the tourist attractions and downtown Rome is easy using the Metro system. The Battistini train station is about a kilometer walk away from the apartment, it is a walk straight down 1 street. There are a number bus routes you can use to get around Rome and the bus stops are very close to the apartment. The hosts are very conscientious and the apartment was clean and well equipped. The hosts and his wife do not speak English their son speaks English and facilitates communication. The people in the neighborhood are friendly and helpful, but not many of the people in the neighborhood speak English so getting a translator app for your phone is very helpful if you don’t speak Italian.

The nicest man in family I’ve ever met.

Mr. Guerrino was so nice to me and was readily available for any questions or assistance I needed. His family guided me how to take public transportation to Center, Rome. At any point, I could’ve called him and he would’ve helped me.

I was born on 05.05.1944 in Rome and I've always lived in Primavalle, a neighborhood was born around 1930 a few steps from St. Peter. Here I attended my schooling, from kindergarten to high school.
I have done my work at a service station owned by me (near the structure "Holiday") from 1968 to 2000, supported by the collaboration of my wife. Currently this activity is being handled by my children.
Quit his job at the gas I devoted mainly to the management of apartments owned, including some for the activity of "Holiday", activity that
from 2013 with excellent results both economically and human relationships with customers and foreign national.

Why they chose this property

The real estate in question was made by my father and I was sent for an inheritance. The decision to allocate some apartments to the activity of "Holiday" has gained some years ago under the pressure of an economic crisis which reached gradually also in Italy. In recent years, many reports of rent are entered in suffering because of the crisis affecting consequently also my financial balances. This was the impetus to diversify the management of my real estate, giving life to the activity of "holiday home".
