Our host was wonderful. Very accomodating, and so nice. Our only regret is that we had so much planned that we didn"t have much time to enjoy the garden patio. It is so very close to shops, restaurants, and the Vatican.
We loved our 3 night stay. The apartment was charming and the garden was so pretty. Easy 10 minutes walk to St Peter’s Basilica and plenty of restaurants nearby. We will book again when we come back to Rome. The Netflix on the TV in the bedroom was a treat after a long day of walking.Cheers!
Everything was great, nice apartment and so conveniently located to the Vatican. Marco was a great host and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property.
Convenient apartment near the Vatican and a vibrant neighborhood with restaurants and cafes. Try GOOSE and the cafe next door. Friendly people and decent prices....not to mention delicious food. We had the opportunity to live among the Romans and are grateful for this opportunity!
Centrally placed with nice outdoor facilities but spartan kitchen
We had I nice stay, but you're to some extent dependent on the weather as the only real living room is outside in the yard. But the yard is very nice. Very good bed. The kitchen is very spartan equipped, but it is possible to cook a meal. Quiet neighborhood.
After 28 hours travel time we hsd 4 hours before our entry time. He kindly drove to the apartment to let us in early.Beautiful garden with a variety of fruit trees. A 5 min walk to get to restaurants and coffeeshop. And we never did find a grocery store. Apartment was fine, on a quiet street. We had a pleasant stay.
Marco was fabulous and gave me a walk through on check in and let me know he was available whenever for questions. The place was nice and much nicer than my friends hotel for 3 people! The garden patio was amazing with fruit trees and places to sit. A great place to sip some wine and relax after running all over Rome. Great location, a very quick walk to the Vatican. I enjoyed my stay very much!
Absolutely fantastic stay. The terrace garden around the unit was so beautiful to relax in. Location was perfect. Marco was perfect.Thoroughly recommend & will stay again. We loved it.
Apartment had everything we needed, except wine glasses. Marco was a great host, even called for our taxi on our last day. The balcony was so nice, we sat out there every day. The place is a little hard to find. Be prepared to walk up & then down steps with your luggage. To get to the main road, there are 72 steps to go up/ down. Bus stops very close by. Lots of restaurants and mini markets. 15 minute walk to the Vatican. This place even came with free Netflix in the bedroom. Bathroom was a little old but clean.
Host Marco was easy to communicate with, and very helpful. Location is great for both the Vatican and Rome. Easy access to local trains and buses for Rome but we liked to walk to the Vatican and Rome. Easy to get to and from Rome Termini using the local train service, a five minute easy walk to St Pietro station. Short walk to shops and local restaurants.
Comfortable accomodations with nice outdoor space.Great location to walk into Vatican City and local restaurants. Marco was very helpful and responsive.
The host, Mario was fabulous and very attentive to our request for extra items, directions and dinner recommendations. The location was very close to the Vatican, but it is a bit dated. A great value for the price we paid and the ac worked great!
Absolutely wonderful location. We did our Jubil’e Year pilgrimage and found the location ideal for our commute to the 4 basilicas. Uber was easy to use. Although the stairs or the passeggiata took us by surprise at first, they turned out to be easy to navigate. We also opted to take the ramp that lead into the street which took longer but was well lit being immediately outside the walls of the Vatican. The home is charming and more than adequate for our stay. We used the washer and the kitchenette. The air conditioning was a life saver for the hot days although those same days were great for when we line dried out clothes. I could not figure out the hairdryer which was available in the bathroom. Toiletries are not included but a Carrefour and other markets are easily accessible on foot.Marco is an attentive host. Thank you for the attention and quick responses, Marco. God bless you!
Die Unterkunft ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut und ruhig. Man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.
We enjoyed Marco’s apartment. The terrace is large and lovely. The apartment has no living room but that was fine as the outdoor space was a living room. The AC worked nicely. Would stay here again. No problem!
Nice apartment for a city visit. Marco promptly met us when we arrived by cab from the airport. The apartment was more than adequate for our stay. What makes it especially nice is the patio with shade provided by trees! There was plenty of hot wayer for showers and the washer was especially great to have; there were lines to hang our clothes. The kitchen was well stocked for the stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt comfortable walking in the evening.Marco was a great host and was responsive to all our needs.Be aware that the apartment is at an elevation over the main neaby street. The walk to restaurants, bus stops, shops involves climbing very old long outside stairs, a long block from the apartment. At the bottom of the stairs was a bus stop. The metro is a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction but mostly on a flat bike path. The Vatican is very near but there are no entrances as a short cut. Still a 20 minute walk.As long as you're prepared for a bit of a walking workout, the apartment is a winner!
