Really nice size property with everythjng you need for your stay. Marco is an excellent host and quick to respond. Very close to the Vatican with great transport links. Easy to find with the added bonus of the garden area. Very central location to navigate around Rome. Would highly recommmend
The place was cute and very clean and just as advertised. It’s at a wonderful location, exactly as advertised behind the Vatican walls and quite quiet. Marco the host, made it even more perfect. He was the most attentive and available host ever! I cannot recommend this sweetplace enough.
Apartment was perfect for the two of us. Marco was a great host- met us at check in and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. About a 20 minute walk to the Vatican and closest Metro station. It was also easy to grab a cab right outside our door.
It was a small clean apartment with a gaeden terrace. There were lots of stairs (about 55) from the main street. Many cafes and small restaurants nearby. Several buses were alao close that made travelling downtown easy. Fod shopping was a bit of a hasle but with the walkway opening (avoiding the stairs) it was much easier.
Marco’s place in Rome was great. It had a great terrace to hang out at and relax after a day of sightseeing around the city. Overall love it and would 10/10 recommend.
Nice apartment for a city visit. Marco promptly met us when we arrived by cab from the airport. The apartment was more than adequate for our stay. What makes it especially nice is the patio with shade provided by trees! There was plenty of hot wayer for showers and the washer was especially great to have; there were lines to hang our clothes. The kitchen was well stocked for the stay. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt comfortable walking in the evening.Marco was a great host and was responsive to all our needs.Be aware that the apartment is at an elevation over the main neaby street. The walk to restaurants, bus stops, shops involves climbing very old long outside stairs, a long block from the apartment. At the bottom of the stairs was a bus stop. The metro is a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction but mostly on a flat bike path. The Vatican is very near but there are no entrances as a short cut. Still a 20 minute walk.As long as you're prepared for a bit of a walking workout, the apartment is a winner!
This apartment was a perfect retreat, offering a serene and charming escape amidst the bustling energy of Rome. Its calm ambiance provided a relaxing haven, allowing you to unwind and recharge after exploring the city's vibrant streets. The tranquil setting was a rare find, making it an ideal sanctuary within such a lively urban environment.
Marco was great with communication, & went above & beyond by staying up & meeting me at the apartment despite my late arrival. Everything was good, & I enjoyed my stay.
First, Marco was such an amazing host! He was so generous of his time and effort to help me get to the place and he always responded straight away if I had a question. The only issue I had with the place was the scented toilet paper as I am a bit particular about scents. It will be important to get the full address as well as the apartment is at the bottom of the small road.
We loved the location of this place and visited the basilica twice. We found good nearby restaurants (Papa Rex, Bono Bottega Nostrana San Pietro) and easy access to buses which took us to the city center. We had a fabulous experience!
Everything was great, nice apartment and so conveniently located to the Vatican. Marco was a great host and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property.
