Beautiful Terrace on Rome

It is a unique but comfortable environment of 33 square meters, with a large and pleasant terrace where to spend some nice moments of relaxation. The apartment is really silent and is equipped with everything you need to spend a pleasant holiday. It is located in the San Giovanni district on the last and 7th floor of a Umbertino building a few hundred meters from the Basilica San Giovanni in Laterano, the Scala Santa and very close from the Colosseum and the Domus Aurea which can also be reached on foot. The neighborhood is full of shops, restaurants, bars, pastry shops, malls and supermarkets, it is well served by public transport, metro A and C (in 10 minutes you can reach Piazza di Spagna, 15 in the Vatican Museums, 10 minutes from the Circus Maximus and Imperial Forums) 300 meters from the apartment there are many bus lines to get to the historic center 15 minutes to the Basilica of San Pietro, 20 minutes to the Appia Antica and the Villa dei Quintili.

We just returned from Rome today! The appointment was in a nice location. We loved the balcony. The bed pillows and bath towels were not to our liking. These two things can easily be replaced and would add a great updated. I would also suggest having some wine glasses and a throw blanket. Host was very nice and made check in and out easy!

I'm sorry you didn't like the pillows and towels, but you didn't specify why, so this is less than constructive criticism because I don't know what's wrong with them. The blankets are in the walk-in closet; perhaps you didn't notice; if you'd emailed me, I'd have helped. We've put the wine glasses back on more than once, as they've always been stolen by previous guests; we'll continue to do so if they're so appreciated.

Only complaint was the kitchen amenities were not great. No selection of pans for cooking. Also the jams left there had gone bad, very old, as well as hundreds of sugar packets. Bed was very comfortable and location was just what we wanted. Close to grocery stores and local restaurants, not touristy, very authentic.

I'm sorry you didn't find the kitchen facilities exceptional. The apartment has pots and pans, an electric kettle, and an electric oven. I'm not sure what you needed since it wasn't specified. The jams aren't expired; I don't understand how they could have gone bad, perhaps due to sudden changes in temperature. If you had written to me during your stay, I would have replaced them, as well as the sugar packets. I'm glad you found the bed comfortable and appreciated the supermarkets and shops near the apartment.
