Amazing Classic Stone House: a green terrace overlooking sea, hill and mountain

Many thanks, I'll take care of all your suggestions. You will always be welcome. Valerio

Thanks so much Csilla, Antonio and I will always be happy to host you. Cilento needs beautiful people like you!

Many thanks for the nice review! But above all, thanks for choosing the Cilento National Park for your holiday! A short time "Il Canale 1861" will offer other nice and pleasant comfort and hope to see you soon! Valerio.

Many thanks from me and the staff all: honored to have had guests like You, You will always be welcome whenever you want!

I can't give a real judgment on Francisco and his family: I basically didn't know them! They booked on the evening of December 24th. Arrived on the evening of the 27th and check in was smooth and hassle free. On the morning of the 28th I received a whatsapp in which he said that the house was cold, that the remote control batteries of the air conditioners were dead and, without even waiting for assistance, they disappeared, leaving the keys in the house and an open balcony. My house is well documented by the photos (spiral staircase included), the heating perfectly functional: gas radiators in every room, including the bathrooms, wood-burning fireplace and internet-connected air conditioners in all the rooms (they can be totally controlled remotely.. .and they were turned on by me on the morning of the 27th and never turned off again, I have the screenshots with the degrees present in the rooms). The weather was beautiful, lots of sun, the house was clean (thanks to the cleaning lady who also worked on Christmas day)...I'm sorry but never mind...the house is mine and I really like the spiral staircase ...since 1861!

Thanks for the nice review! Relax in contact with nature, healthy air, Mediterranean scents of long ago: these are the peculiarities offered by the Cilento National Park. "Il Canale 1861" is an old farmhouse ("magazzeno") restored preserving the peculiarities of the 1800s: in those days rural life was not very comfortable...for example the bathroom (pure euphemism) was outside the house and the swimming pool was a puddle where the animals drank. I believe and hope that some small sacrifices are negligible in order to spend a relaxing holiday back in time ...thanks so much :-)

Grazie Sara, um pregio averVi come ospiti...sarete sempre i benvenuti!

I don't know what to answer, your beautiful words confuse me! I would like to clarify that swallows aren't paid by us for flying at the usual time ... :-) Obviously they have a very special relationship with your little ones :-) I'm very happy to have given you some serenity and fun for the children. Thanks so much, you are always welcome here!

Thanks Patricia, you and your family have just been perfect! When we have guests like you, everything becomes simpler: an honor for me and my friends to have hosted you! I like to think that from today, whenever you hear a bell tolling, a little thought of yours will send you back to this little corner of the Ancient Cilento. All the best!

Vielen Dank, wird Komfort weiter verbessert werden, und im Garten wird es Überraschungen bemerkenswert sein!

Thank you for your review. All suggestions are always well appreciated. We will always try to improve the comfort for our guests, including the "fight" to mosquitoes and the construction of a swimming pool set in the olive grove.

Thank you for your review. In the country. it's hard not to have to deal with mosquitoes but we are working to reduce this annoying problem. Certainly we improve every day comforts for our guests: we love this land that deserves to be appreciated abroad.

Many thanks for the tips: - The internet provider has been changed: it is now more reliable; - It will be further improved reception service and enriched the minimum equipment and towels; - Unfortunately, the heating costs are due to the price of LPG gas in Campania and are calculated  according to consumption without bonuses from us.  Generally from April to December there is no need of heating, just a fireplace for cooler days of  autumn.
