Located one-half mile from the Deer Valley lifts and two miles from Old Town Park City, this roomy and comfortable Queen Esther home offers a prime location in the Park City area. A Deer Valley shuttle to the lift stops every 20 minutes at the driveway and a Park City transit stop, located at the end of the street, makes getting around simple. Guests will love all the extras of this property including a garage, washer, dryer and iron, ski storage, spacious deck and balcony, hot tub and barbecue grill.

The beautiful home comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. A spacious great room includes an enormous natural-stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling and full wall of windows, showcasing the beautiful Deer Valley landscape. The great room also includes a wide-screen TV with cable service and Blue Ray DVD player, WiFi and stereo as well as two dining areas: a formal dining table that seats eight as well as a side seating area that accommodates an additional five.

A fully-stocked kitchen located next to the great room helps you make your trip economical and healthy by providing a wonderful spot to prepare meals at home. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, ice maker, stove and double oven, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of counter space as well as counter seating. The open-room concept allows everyone to be part of the action. Perfect for friends/couples and families.

Four comfortable and roomy bedrooms welcome guests at the end of the day. The large master bedroom features a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, TV and DVD player. Relax on the charming window seat, surrounded by large windows and plenty of reading materials. The master bathroom includes a separate double vanity, Jacuzzi tub and shower.

Each of the three guest bedrooms are generously-sized. The first guest bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, TV and full private bathroom. The second guest bedroom contains two twin-sized beds and a full private bathroom. The sizeable third guest bedroom doubles as a guest suite and features a fireplace, TV, queen-sized bed and a queen-sized sofa bed as well as a full private bathroom.

Perfect Ski Chalet

This is the perfect spot only 1/2 mile from Deer Valley! The house had everything and was immaculate. We took our 3 kids ages 3, 5 and 7 for their first ski adventure. They loved the skiing and the house! Thanks Jean! We will be back.

Home Away From Home

We feel very fortunate to have found this home on VRBO. First and foremost, this is really a home, not a rental. The beds and pillows are as comfortable as our own, and the house is equipped with all your needs and wants. Jean (the homeowner) went above and beyond the call of duty and is genuinely gracious. She made sure that the house was lovely and warm before we arrived and answered all our various questions promptly. Jean’s house is located just a short three minute drive away from Deer Valley and approximately eight minutes from Park City. There is a shuttle stop nearby, but one of our party was not skiing and so we volunteered him as our chauffeur. Our party consisted of two families, four adults and four teenage children. It is a spacious house, so we never felt that we were on top of one another. The rooms are a generous size, and each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. After a day’s skiing, coming back to our home away from home was really the perfect way to end the day. We could all relax and not be confined to a hotel room or busy lobby area. Two nights, we actually opted to make dinner and eat in, foregoing one of the many fabulous restaurants within the area, as the house is so comfortable. We will definitely rent this home again when we revisit Utah. Thank you, Jean, for opening up your home to us.

Great ski vacation!

I stayed at this beautiful home with my family for a long ski weekend. We flew in from all over the country and wanted a house where skiers could be close to the slopes and non-skiers could be comfortable. The shuttle to Deer Valley was efficient, and meant we rented fewer cars! There was plenty of room. The hot tub was great. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay here again!
