This is a large modern spacious 1-bedroom condo style apartment on the second level in prime NW Portland location, just 2 blocks from NW 23rd Ave. This like new 1,000 sq ft condo unit located on a quiet, dead end street in the highly desirable alphabet district, has an open floor plan featuring a bedroom with king bed and TV, full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, a cozy living room space with sleeper sofa, TV and balcony overlooking west hills. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stainless range for cooking, granite counters, and newer appliances including microwave and dishwasher. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV with Roku, fireplace, and air conditioning for warmer days. The bedroom features a king bed, ceiling fan and large closet. The unit has hardwood floors and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. If you are here on business there is wireless internet and a desk for your computer. This wonderful newer second level view condo style apartment has a quaint open floor plan with two French doors that lead out onto your own balcony for outside dining overlooking the West Hills.

The unit is located on a quiet dead-end street with lots of street parking plus a path at end of street for direct access to Thurman where the coffee shops, eateries and boutiques begin. Close to public transit… makes this a great place to stay whether for work or fun!

We loved this space nestled near in one of our favorite Portland neighborhoods. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped well for meals. We felt tucked away though we were able to walk to shops and restaurants all weekend.

Fresh & Airy Light Filled Condo

Ours was a 5 night stay in this lovely condo that had everything you would need. Perfect location with an easy walk to shops, restaurants & clubs. Very quiet since the building is located on a tree-lined dead-end street. We felt extremely safe walking home in the evenings. Check-in was a breeze and Becky the owner was so helpful. Our son lives in Portland and we will be sure to stay here again next time we visit!

Very enjoyable and cool get away plus good times with family.

The property is lovely, well maintained and very clean. Very comfortable with good amenities. Really enjoyed opening the French doors and basking in the cool air. Great place to get away from Tucson heat. Also, a very walkable neighborhood.

Very nice condo!

Very nice clean accommodations! Especially appreciated the little amenities…e.g. coffee, tea, hot chocolate, condiments, bathroom toiletries, even bathrobes! And the location was near everything you’d need. Would definitely stay here again!

Serene stay in popular and walkable neighborhood

A vacation within a vacation!

Impressive landscaping! Great instructions for check-in, and how to navigate the area. Walking distance to a number of cafe’s, a few shops and small library. The lush bathrobes were a great touch. Fully equipped kitchen; washer and dryer. WiFi was excellent. Very safe neighborhood!

Comfortable accommodations for our two-month extended stay.

During our two-month rental we had plenty of time to get to know the area and experience the comfortable accommodations. The one bedroom apartment was relaxing for the two of us and we had many meals prepared in the fully adequate kitchen. While we were there the property around the rental group — walkways, landscaping, balcony and stairways — was maintained and upgraded showing the owner’s interest in constant improvement. You’ll also note posted signs from the owner that are all helpful for answering typical questions that would arise. The area close to the property is full of good stops for dining, coffee and shopping. 23rd street is the main retail drag within easy walking distance. Forest Park with access to extended hiking is a 10 minute walk through nice neighborhoods.

Wonderful stay as usual!

This is our third stay at this property and I will always come back when visiting Portland! I have family here and they live in the neighborhood so that’s an added bonus. The place is always clean, has what we need and is close to our favorite spots on Thurman! Don’t miss out on this gem!

Spacious clean and perfect location

We loved staying in this lovely apartment. It was immaculate, well designed and very comfortable. All of this and on a quiet street only minutes to vibrant 23rd street. We did not have a car so can’t comment on parking. Becky is a very friendly and responsive host. Hope to stay here again!

Awesome host!

This place is exactly as described. I loved that the host took care of the parking permits and that overnight parking was included. Usually you have to do that yourself in rentals in this area. This location is so walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. It’s perfect.

Spectacular apartment

Very clean, very updated place with all of the amenities. Cannot beat the location for walking anywhere. Slight issue with the WiFI/TV working correctly (thus only a 4-star rating) but the owner was very communicative and eventually did resolve the issue. If we are ever back in Portland we will definitely stay here.

Loved this property! So walkable to almost everything you need. Please know that you’ll be able to hear the upstairs tenants footsteps as they walk around. If you’re ok with that, it is perfect!

Great location, easy walk to dining/shopping

Property was cleaned and well maintained. Had everything we needed including air conditioning which many properties in the Pacific NW don’t. Temps pushed into the 90’s for part of our stay and the unit stayed pleasantly cool. Property is located with easy walking access to dining/shopping. Easy access to the interstate which was nice as we primarily spent our time exploring Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge areas. Once back to the property we walked to dinner each night. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple looking for a great base to explore Portland and surrounding areas.

Absolutely PERFECT!

I've stayed at Portland Vacation Rentals three times now, and each visit is a WONDERFUL experience. The location is perfect--so close to all the wonderful restaurants and shops in NW Portland, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The units are extremely comfortable and clean and Becky provides all the comforts of home--coffee, tea, hot chocolate, half and half for your coffee, and a well-supplied kitchen if you decide to cook a meal. The beds are very, very comfortable, and the towels and linen are clean and plush. Becky is very responsive and she goes above and beyond to help when needed. During one of our trips, one of our luggage locks would not open. She dropped off a pair of wire cutters and provided suggestions for hardware stores that might be able to help if the wire cutters weren't strong enough. I will always book Becky's Portland Vacation Rentals when visiting Portland. I highly recommend it--I promise, you will be very pleased and you'll come to love Becky and her units. Portland Vacation Rentals will make your stay in Portland memorable, peaceful, and....perfect--just PERFECT!
