My family decided to go to Big Bearfor a quick family vacation. We stayed at the castle and had an amazing time! The house is very clean, beds are comfortable and the house itself is amazing especially for large families. The kitchen has everything you need and a lot of room for kids to enjoy themselves. It truly was a great experience and can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

We stayed at the Castle over Labor Day. Cory was delightful she was very responsive, wanted to be sure we were comfortable and well taken care of through the duration of our stay. Our group was all family and there were 13 of us. There was so much room we never felt crowded. All of the bedrooms worked perfectly for our group the beds were very warm and cozy. The bedrooms are very well laid out and my husband and I stayed in the main bedroom which was huge! We loved the front porch and the rooms with balconies so peaceful and quiet. The kitchen was one of the best, stocked with everything you could want from dishes and utensils to a full pantry. It rained one day of our stay and we stayed in played games and had a wonderful time despite the inclement weather. I would highly recommend staying there. I am someone who has stayed in many rentals and have high standards all were met here!

We had an amazing stay here! Communicating with the hosts was easy and everyone (both children and adults) in our large group loved the space and activities that were provided. This is an amazing home perfect for a huge family or multi family vacation. Our crew consisted of 5 grandchildren (8-17 years old), a set of grandparents and 4 adults. The host was accommodating and let us check in about an hour early, which was nice. The home was extremely clean. The kitchen is fully stocked. Bedrooms are spacious. First floor has 2 bedrooms which is nice for those who have trouble navigating stairs. The pool table, arcade game, poker table, and outside play area are nice touches to keep kids entertained. We enjoyed the view from the balconies. Communication with the host was excellent. We ran out of laundry detergent and she arranged a delivery within an hour or so. The location is great- a short drive to the village and grocery stores. Would love to stay again!

The house was super clean! this was the icing on top because it makes the trip more comfortable when the cabin is clean. House is spacious and love that they had things for the kids to do. Beds were made with lots of blankets and also extra blankets in case we needed them. Beautiful place and a lot of amenities. thank you!

Best Big Bear trip

This beautiful home was the highlight of our trip! Loved the location, only 5 minutes from the grocery store and slopes. Fast replies to any questions we had prior to our stay. Would definitely stay here again! Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Friends Trip

This place offers so much comfort, privacy and warmth that you just do not want to go anywhere outside! The blankets and sheets were liked by everybody in our group. The hot water fawcet to make tea was the cure for my cold !!! Thank you Kori for being so attentive to our requests. My family is already asking me when we are going back!

Fantastic luxury stay

Booked this property for a family snowboarding trip and it was perfect. All bedrooms except for the kids room have their own dedicated bathroom. The amenities were great, the hosts are very kind and responsive, and the property was very comfortable and inviting. It is also a very short drive to the slopes which was very convenient.

We do this annual family big bear trip where our mom loves to stay in the same house with everyone. But it’s so hard to find that kind of space. But then, we found the castle! This house was amazing, clean and everyone had their own space which was the most important since we all have little ones who take naps and have bedtime routines. Every room has a bathroom! The pink master had blackout curtains which sleep training moms know is a game changer. One of the best rentals we’ve stayed at ever size wise and amenities wise. Loved it!

Beautiful Big Bear Getaway

My family and I spent our winter holiday at this exquisite chateau. The rental was beautifully decorated and very well kept. All of the rooms were very spacious and the kitchen is a chef's dream. The location of the property is conveniently located close to the ski resorts, dining and grocery stores. We will definitely be back for a future stay.

Great spot for R&R

We are a group of 14 individuals who came up for a staff retreat from a hospital in orange county. We got a chance to walk around in the beautiful scenery, have some good meals together, watch movies, play pool. The location was peaceful and wonderful. We will definitely be back.
