About this property

Renovated contemporary farmhouse, private swimming pool, luxurious, 8 people

This beautiful old farmhouse - called Mas du Collège - is isolated, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fields. It is built of exposed stone and was completely renovated in 2005 in a contemporary style, furnished in a sober and design style. It is the ideal place for an escape from everyday life while being close to many activities. Very nice private pool.

The four double bedrooms each have their bathroom and the kitchen has a large table and a fireplace. You can also take your meals on the terrace, under a tree or by the pool.
The house is of course equipped with all the comforts one would expect from a luxury gite: dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue, microwave ...

Although on the wine estate, the farmhouse is far - out of sight and voice - from the castle where the owners live.
The Althoff family produces high quality wines from organic farming with no added sulfites.

Amazing scenery with total relaxation

We had a lovely stay with our family in Le Mas. Very big rooms with all necessaries available. We loved the style of the house! The pool looks just looks straight out of a magazine. The hosts are very friendly. We will come back for sure! One side note: there is no airco

Tres beau site

La description de la propriété est tout à fait exact. La maison est très bien équipée et agréable Le site est superbe au milieu des oliviers plein de chemins de balade sont accessibles depuis la maison Seule 1 chambre est dans la maison 2 autres sont dans des dépenses extérieures proches et la 4 eme sur la partie en réz de jardin(chambre très humide) Cela contraint à passer en extérieur pour se rendre aux chambres.même si cela ne nous a pas gêné il nous semble important de le rajouter dans le descriptif car cela pourrait être embêtant pour des enfants en bas âge par exemple L accueil n était pas très bien organisé La personne qui nous a reçu ne connaissait pas la propriété et le chauffage n avait pas été mis en route…il nous a fallu quelques paires d heures pour obtenir une température correcte dans la maison Pour le départ nous n avons vu personne et avons laissé les clés dans une cachette que nous avons communiqué par sms…drôle d accueil Sinon le séjour s est très bien déroulé et nous avons bien profité de la propriété et de son confort une fois réchauffée

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances, la propriété est magique, la piscine, le mas et les terrasses….tout est parfait. Nous étions avec 3 enfants en bas âges et les propriétaires ont gentiment posé u e barrière. Allez y !

Une petite pépite

Nous avons passé des vacances à 8 dans la maison de Béatrice. La maison est sur une très grande propriété de vignes et d’oliviers, le bonheur à seulement 3km du centre du village de Sommières (bien animé l’été). La cuisine est très équipée et la maison très agréable. La propriétaire est disponible et nous a même ajouté des transats durant notre séjour. Sa chienne Opra est venue passer quelques soirées avec nous. Nous avons passé une semaine extra et reviendrons probablement un jour !

Belle découverte

Nous avons déjà souvent loué des gites, mais n'étions encore jamais tombés sur un endroit aussi magique. C'est beau, solitaire, et pourtant on n'est pas loin du village ni de la mer (compter 25 min en voiture). Un mas avec beaucoup de classe situé dans un vaste domaine vinicole. Un accueil chaleureux. Nous étions 2 couples + 3 enfants. Tout le monde a profité pleinement. Nous y retournerons certainement pour d'autres vacances. A recommander.
