Our condo is on the first floor, with a spectacular view of the tropical gardens, as well as the ocean. There are 2 bedrooms with luxurious king sized beds, one has a Tempur-pedic mattress. Lovely private patio area with 2 rocking chairs, and table and 4 chairs for meals or snacking. Large living room, dining room area with pleasant furnishings. Galley kitchen with serving counter and stools just updated in 2021. 2 bathrooms, one with tub/shower and one with handicap accessible shower.

Great location and friendly staff

Nice condo for relaxing and being close to all the Christensted activities while in a quiet and peaceful area. Well furnished and loved the Temperpedic bed in the Master bedroom.

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay. I was there for work but it would have been equally as good for a vacation. The hosts we very responsive to questions. I liked the location for being near everything without being in the middle of everything. The accommodations were exactly what we needed and were very comfortable. I wish I could have spent more time relaxing and less time working. Thanks

Beautiful Family Vacation

The property was exactly as mentioned. It was a perfect amount of room for my family of 4. The only thing we had to do was pick up some groceries for our 7 day stay and let the vacation begin. The owners were very helpful. They sent really helpful information about events and activities happening on the island that we utilized every day. We loved it and hope to stay again next time we return.

Great location

The owners were great. Kept us up to date as our trip got closer and have us a wealth of information on things to do on the island. The location is perfect for island exploring (30 minutes from either end of the island) and near many other things around Christiansted. The unit itself met all of our expectations and was adequately supplied to accomplish anything we wanted in the unit. We were within 100 yards of the water, although not the best beach on the island it was en enjoyable stroll in the evening. We're "critical" renters (and you may find a minor issue or two) but we would absolutely stay again. The owners alone made it a great stay for us.

A little bit of paradise.

My family and I have been to several caribbean islands and St Croix is by far the best island. There is so much to do. The water and beaches are beautiful and the people are so friendly. The Colony Cove condo that we stayed in was perfect. It had everything you needed for a relaxing time away. The condo was centrally located to all the sites of St Croix. Liz and Don were excellent hosts. Liz was extremely responsive to any questions I had. She gave several great recommendations of things for us to do. I highly recommend Rainbow Beach and Big Beards Adventure Tours. When we return to St. Croix, this Colony Cove condo will be our choice to stay at again. Thanks Liz and Don Mike Iwanicki

Colony Cove was the perfect spot on St. Croix!

We had an absolutely marvelous and memorable vacation in St. Croix. It all started with how easy it was to work with Liz, the condo owner. She was very communicative prior to our arrival: answered all of our questions, provided info in a timely manner, and even sent us tons of info about how to get around the island, recommendations for beaches and restaurants, and the goings-on guide for the week we were there (April 10 - 15, 2016). The condo was clean and very comfortable. It was such a treat to wake in the morning, brew a pot of coffee and head down to the Caribbean to enjoy coffee and sea breezes. There is also a beautiful pool in the complex. There is a human made tire reef just off the beach and it was the perfect place for us first time snorkelers to start. You can also walk the beach in the other direction to where some old pilings stick out of the water and snorkel. We saw a ray! It is super easy to get from Colony Cove to anywhere on the Island. Liz was staying at Colony Cove while we were there so we got to chat and she checked with us to make sure all was well. We would go back in heartbeat! (p.s. you can borrow snorkeling gear and beach towels from the condo "front office" - this is the only thing we didn't know in advance so we packed snorkel gear)

Amazing place

The Colony Cove resort is an amazing place. It is clean, the grounds are beautiful, all staff were friendly and inviting. We had a wonderful time and stay in the condo we rented. Liz and Don the owners are so helpful and great communicators. The property met all expectations and the booking with vrbo was so easy. Thank you for maki g our stay on St. Croix an awesome experience.

The location of this condo was excellent. Colony Cove pool was nice and beach was nice too. L

Hosts were very quick to reply to all questions. Even though property was a little dated, we still enjoyed our stay. Back porch was awesome with beautiful view of the garden and ocean. Condo was quiet. Close to grocery stores, Christiansted and all other areas of the island. We would stay again.

Central location to most things.

The condo is quite small, but very adequate for a family of four. It was very clean and offered almost anything that you would need for essentials. I was a little surprised by the age of the complex, but after talking to some of the locals, that is the majority of the island. It is in a great location as far as its closeness to key things like grocery stores, pharmacies and downtown Christiansted. Speaking of downtown Christiansted, the condo is only eight minutes away from the boardwalk where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, not to mention all your activities like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, parasailing, ferry to island at the cay and my favorite, trips to Buck island(which is an absolute must for all). The owner, Liz, was very engaged throughout the whole process. She made sure that my new wife(we just got married on the island) and I knew exactly what was happening on the island with the COVID-19 restrictions and where to go visit and eat. She also was a big help with our wedding, as far as who to talk to and what beaches would make for the best spot, we chose a beach close to Rainbow beach. The people on the island are very polite and patient with us mainland Americans learning to drive on the left side instead of the right side, lol. I will absolutely rent this condo again, mostly because the owners are top notch people. Thanks Liz for everything!

Comfy Little Condo

I stayed a month. The condo was exactly what was pictured with a nice view of the garden looking down to the ocean. The condo is well stocked with everything you'll need. The pool area is great with a nice sized pool, cleaned daily with plenty of chairs. and direct access to the beach. There is a covered kitchen area for cooking, a sink, grill a nice set up. The owners of the unit were wonderful and responsive to all my questions. I would certainly recommend this unit to my friends and family.

Nice Central location

We are here a lot for my husband's work so are trying different places. Only confusion was what to do with bedding and towels as we had to leave early in the morning. We cleaned everything else and emptied trash and just stripped the bed. Hope that was ok, but could not do laundry at that time. Enjoyed the stay. Thanks!

Centrally Located

Don and Liz have a quaint vacation spot. We enjoyed sitting on the nicely furnished back porch each evening while we played a few rounds of cards. The complex is secure and quiet. The beach isn't the best but there is a nice beach not far away. The VRBO is centrally located on the island and close to some really good restaurants on the boardwalk.

Property was in a great location, and the condo was very nice, the beach not so much

The condo was very nice... in a great location, Close to Christensted and had everything you would need. With the A/C In bedrooms, in made sleeping very comfortable and if you kept the curtains in the living room closed, it was comfortable in there to hang out as well. But the beach wasn't good at all. The seaweed is out of control, and the smell its miserable. You can't go out on the beach, and you can't get in the water, due to the seaweed which is disheartening, when you pick a place due to it being beach front, thinking you could go out and sit out and enjoy the water. But until that is cleaned up, there is no way you can. Even the pool area, which is nice, the smell just made it intolerable. We had to drive to the West end every day in order to enjoy the beach and the water. The owners Liz and Don are great though.. very accommodating and nice! While the seaweed issue isn't something they could fix.. I feel it needs to be told, before renting, if you want to be at the beach, so you know ahead of time that you will have to travel. So car rental is a must! If the beach gets cleaned up, would definitely rent this again! St Croix is a beautiful island, and it's getting back to its splendor after the hurricanes, which makes me happy! It was a soul cleansing vacation. Thank you Liz and Don! Lisa Snow--- Dana Andrewss.

Take us back <3

Our stay at Colony Cove was perfect. We rented a car on the island which was a must so we could see everything. The drive from the condo was 5 minutes from downtown Christiansted, which has tons of stores, restaurants, and bars. It was nice having a relaxing place to return to after are long adventurous days out around the island. The grounds of the condo complex were very safe. There were also two restaurants within walking distances of the complex. We didn't want to leave but will definitely return. Don and Liz were helpful with anything we needed. Thank you.

Enjoyable

Great condo community just north of downtown Christiansted. Older building, but had everything we needed. Location is out of town, not walkable to the boardwalk. The condo community the unit is apart of is very friendly, most people know each other and watch out for each other.The condos are part of a larger condo area with several different buildings, but all connected by the beach. Also at each end of the condo community is a restaurant and we enjoyed both. Beach is small and rocky, but pretty for walks. The unit was well laid out with bedrooms on one side and kitchen and livingroom on other so if we got early we didn't have to worry about waking our friends. Air conditioners in the bedrooms were great too. Lovely enclosed patio. Our only issue, and it's not a big deal, but there is a lot of furniture, large pieces, filling up the living room. It was crowded and hard to get around. Big chairs, big coffee table, big dining set in the middle. We were always bumping into things. It was comfy furniture, but would be something to think about if you have small kids running around. We did have an issue with one of the bathroom sinks draining slowly and only one burner on the stove worked. We mentioned this to the owners and they are working on these issues. Owners very helpful and available, if we had questions. Before our arrival, they sent us a link with all the activities and events happening on the island for our stay.

A place to call home on vacation

It was so nice to be on vacation but still have a place to come "home" to at night. Don and Liz and have done an excellent job of making their condo a comfy, modern Cruzan haven. They recently redid the secondary bath with all modern touches. A/C is a commodity on the island but both bedrooms have window units and ceiling fans to help circulate the cool air; this was probably the best part after a hot day of sight seeing. Our daughter enjoyed the large screen TV at night in the living room and definitely consumed her share of bandwidth on the free wifi. Will definitely stay there again.

Don and Liz are retired and live in the Philadelphia area, where it is just too cold and wet in the winters! Will, Liz's brother, lives in Ohio, and likes to get down to St. Croix when his schedule allows it.

Why they chose this property

Don and Liz have owned a condo at this complex since 2007 and spend 2 to 3 months each year enjoying the warm sun and blue water. Many family members have joined us for vacations, and we wanted to expand our ability to accommodate friends and family. This is a first floor unit, and as we all get older, no steps can be a great thing! Liz's brother, Will, has enjoyed his time in St. Croix so much, that he went in on this purchase and hopes to spend even more time at Easy Street.

What makes this property unique

No steps to get to the condo, plenty of space to enjoy inside, and on the patio outside. Handicap accessible shower/vanity. We own a second condo in this complex, so we can help you accommodate larger groups. We can help you plan a wedding in Paradise.
