Located about twenty minutes from downtown Durango, this property gives you the quiet you crave while still close enough for a casual evening in town, a day exploring the mountains or ready access to Durango Mountain Resort and Wolfe Creek ski areas. The multilevel, wrap-around deck provides seating and outdoor dining and offers sun and shade as you admire the peaks towering over the countryside. Bring your swimsuit as this property features the ultimate in relaxation – a hot tub with a mountain view and an on-site sauna, perfect for apres-ski. On the main level, a large open kitchen, fully furnished with upgraded appliances and all the amenities, overlooks the open living space with comfy furniture and a cozy wood stove. The dining area, also colorfully themed in the southwest style, can accommodate your whole group. The bedrooms are bright and airy. On the main level, the king master suite with its beautiful modern bathroom has access to the deck and the mountain views. The same level offers an additional bedroom with two twin beds and a full bathroom. The upper level features a large bedroom with an upgraded queen sofa sleeper and a princess bed with twin trundle. There's a bonus loft with plenty of space and a relaxing massage chair. The ground entrance level features a bedroom with queen bed and a full en-suite bathroom with large tub and a separate standing shower. Also on this level is the therapeutic indoor sauna. There is a two-car enclosed garage and plenty of parking. You can't help but have fun in this whimsically styled house with plenty of Southwestern flare found throughout to make your stay memorable! Beautiful home.

What a beautiful place! This is my family’s second time to stay here and we had just as much fun as the first time. This year there was no snow but the sites were just as beautiful as we remembered.

Awesome place to stay!

Great home that is well reflected in the description and photos. All we needed was available and the location was serene. The kitchen was well stocked, all the amenities we needed were present, and the overall feel was relaxing and inviting. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed having access to that on several of our nights. I would highly recommend and will stay there again.

Family Vacation

Very nice and spacious. Plenty of room for the family views were absolutely gorgeous. Loved hanging out in the hot tub everything you need and then some would definitely recommend this place.

Remote - Quiet - Far Away From Durango

If you're looking for a very quiet, remote area to stay that's about a 25 minute drive to Durango and then at least an hour's drive to Purgatory to ski - this is a good choice. During the winter and if it rains, you'll need 4 wheel drive to get up to the property. There are some updates needed to the property and I've sent those in a private message to the management company - nothing that's going to cancel your time there. There are several neighbors within 100 - 200 yards but you really can't see them and vice versa. Just be prepared for a dirty car (dirt roads and dirt drive) and have 4 wheel drive if it's raining or snowing to get to the property.
