Lovely rustic property in quiet rural location. Excellent pool and huge garden, plenty of options for eating- 3 tables seating 9 both inside and outside, so lots of options for eating.We are 2 families with 4 children and travelling with our father. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom are great for access. Kids love the pool and huge garden! We have now stayed for 3 years and love the house and garden.5 mins drive to bar, bakery and small but well stocked shop. Only 30 mins to a number of amazing beaches and lakes with water parks are in abundance in this area. Plenty to keep the children entertained.

This is the second year we have rented this property and the children/grandchildren love it. It is close to many diverse attractions. The hosts are excellent and responsive if any help is needed. My grandchildren have already said they would like to return again next year

Beautiful location, lovely pool

3 generations of family had a lovely holiday. The pool was clean, the rooms were well suited to our needs, and the quiet location was good for a walk/ run in the countryside. Boulangerie not too far away and good for travel to various beaches. Some features could do with a bit of maintenance but overall a good stay. goodstay.stay.mmmaintemmmmaintenance.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely, rustic French farmhouse. There are four good sized bedrooms upstairs, one of which has twin beds, and a bathroom, downstairs there's a further double room and a huge bathroom with an amazing shower and a separate toilet. The kitchen is great and really well equipped, and a wonderful conservatory with a big table. I saw some comments about it being too warm in the conservatory but it was very hot when we were there and we didn't find that this was the case and it was fab in the evenings to have somewhere to sit, away from and bugs! The garden is huge and the pool is the perfect place to play in, sit around, and enjoy. We were a group with small children, teenagers and adults and we all loved it. We had great communication with Didier and Carole, who tolerated my multiple questions well before we went. During our stay we had an issue with the robot that we had to put in the pool every night to clean it, it was very quickly sorted and resolved, without any issues. The location is great, 40 minutes from lovely beaches, 10 minutes from a hyper - U and in a quiet rural location - we would highly recommend!

Family holiday

Charming French Longere Farmhouse, in a peaceful location (yes it was near a farm but that did not cause any issues). The pool was large and clean and we were asked to put the robotic pool cleaner in every day, but that was no problem. The family loved it and if you are happy catering for yourself which we were, (as it is not near any restaurants), but we love to cook and had family meals with ingredients from the large Hypermarket 10 minutes away, eating in the large conservatory. We would visit again happily, the only issue we had was with one bed that had a poorly sprung mattress. Overall, Happy

We had a great week at this remote French farmhouse. The house and gardens are huge and spacious. The kids loved the pool and we were happy to self-cater. Not many restaurants around but the supermarket is 10mins by car. WiFi is a bit patchy but works perfectly well on one side of the house. 1 hr from Puy du fou which we all loved. Close to the beaches. Didier & Carole were on hand if needed but we had no issues. Would definitely come back.

Heel ruim mooi rustiek en rustig vakantiehuis met hele grote tuin, ideaal voor de kinderen en zeer goed zwembad. We hadden wel last van heel wat vliegen. Dagelijkse work-out was vliegenmeppen. Plaatsing van hordeuren in de mooie veranda (die bij warme dagen zowiezo moet openstaan wegens anders te warm) en herstellen van sommige aanwezige horren zou dit probleem al oplossen denken we. Regelmatig was er jammer genoeg ook een putjesgeur vooral nabij de wc's. Het verblijf is wel voorzien van al het nodige om te ontspannen en de gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De omgeving is ook heel mooi en een dagje naar het strand (op een half uurtje rijden) is zeker een aanrader. Het kasteel van Apremont was ook een topper.

Prix correct mais prestation moyenne

Nous étions un groupe d’amis avec de jeunes enfants et nous ne recommandons pas cette location pour les groupes avec la même typologie. Les dalles de la piscine sont desalignées et peuvent blesser et l’insonorisation entre le RDC et le 1er étage est inexistante avec un parquet qui craque. Dès qu’une personne se lève … toute la maison est réveillée. La maison a beaucoup de potentiel mais n’est pas suffisamment entretenue (ménage très moyen, toiles d’araignée partout, odeur de fausse septique permanente, un garage pour accéder au congélateur remplie de fiente d’oiseau…) La cuisine est très bien équipée et la véranda + le jardin sont très biens. Est ce que le prix de la location justifie le niveau de cette prestation… je me demande encore.

Je suis bien désolée que ma maison ne vous ai pas convenu. Je ne ferai pas de commentaires sur vos diverses réflexions exactement comme je ne vous dirai pas tout ce que j'ai retrouvé après et qui m'ont déplu. Juste aux sujet des oiseaux qui nichent dans la chaufferie. Il s'agit d'hirondelles, ce sont des oiseaux protégés dont les nids sont répertoriés et il ne s'agit surtout pas d'y toucher et bien sûr j'ai beau nettoyer les fientes, il en revient toujours.

Nous avons passé de bons moments ds cette grande maison, nous avons visité l île d Yeu et Noirmoutier.Les enfants se sont régalés avec la grande piscine.

Idéal pour vacances familiales et / ou amis.

Chouette maison bien située. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la verdure. La proximité des lacs et de la côte sont des atouts. Large écrin de verdure, d'espace de vie, surtout à l'extérieur. Cuisine bien agencée (équipements, etc..). Chouette piscine ( pas chauffée, mais OK en saison chaude...). Petit bémol: qlqs odeurs désagréables...et pas assez de transats autour de la piscine ( 5 transats). Nous avons passé de superbes vacances en famille (9 personnes) et gardons un excellent souvenir de cette location.
