Imagine just walking out your door a very short distance to find hiking trails in the mountains from this beautiful family oriented home that sits on top of a quiet mountain neighborhood in La Quinta called “The Cove”.

Return from your hike or other explorations to a very spacious, private front yard with beautiful mountain views and a refreshing salt water pool and spa. With an outdoor shower, lots of comfortable seating, and a patio table, you have the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, lunch, evening drinks, or a barbecue with family and/or friends.

Enter the gate of this 2000 sq. ft. 3-bedroom 2-bath home, walk up the front walkway with the spacious pool/patio area to the side, and find yourself in a great room that features travertine flooring, comfortable seating, a fireplace, a large flat screen TV, and access to the patio where you can enjoy amazing mountain views.

A dining area for 4, a breakfast nook for 4 in the kitchen area, and a kitchen bar with 4 high-top stools accompany this living area making it easy for everyone to eat together.

The fully equipped modern kitchen with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertops will surely meet all of your culinary needs. And if you wish to be outdoors you are always just steps from the spectacular patio area.

The California king master bedroom has an suite bath with Jack and Jill sinks, a soaking tub, and a beautiful travertine tile walk-in shower. With French doors to the outside patio and a large flat screen TV it is the prefect spot to retreat and relax.

There are two additional guest bedrooms – a king and a queen - both with large flat screen TV’s. They share a full hallway bath with a shower/tub combination. And of course all bed and bathrooms are furnished with premium linens for your ultimate comfort. This home comfortably sleeps 6.

This home has A/C, there is a laundry room for your use, and there is ample off-street parking.

This home is also very close to restaurants and galleries…the list goes on. It is also about 8 miles from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden Center, which makes it a great place to stay for anyone who comes to the 3-week BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament in March. The Empire Polo Grounds (Coachella, Stagecoach, Desert Trip is only 5 miles away.

Great place to stay!

This house was really lovely. I love where it's located near the hiking trails in La Quinta. The pool and spa were perfect for our family. Instructions were very easy and the owner was available for any questions. Loved it!

Could not be better

Great location with good hikes and bike rides right out the door. We stayed here one other time and would fully recommend it. The house is spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We loved that the kitchen has all the utensils and pots and pans for cooking. We contacted the owner once because I didn’t understand how to turn something on and he was immediate to respond. We hope to be back.

Great Stay in La Quinta

Everything was really great. We were in town for Power Trip. Location was perfect for us - really nice to be going to the opposite direction compared to most of the other attendees. Pool was perfect for a vacation home. We also asked if we could check in a little early because our flights landed a little after 12pm, and we were granted access. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home with an excellent host.

My stay here was above and beyond. The location in the “cove” is spectacular. There are trails to walk, run, hike steps outside the property. The backdrop is amazing. The house is big with a big fully stocked kitchen for cooking elaborate meals. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. During my stay the pool and hot tub broke. David (our host) had it fixed in a matter of hours. He was a fantastic and communicative host our entire stay. Would recommend 10/10 and will be staying here again.

Our home is a custom built Spanish style, single level, with high ceilings and comfortable beds, private salt water pool and spa, fully furnished and ready to go. You'll want to return year after year.

Situated at the top of La Quinta Cove, surrounded by the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountain sits Casa Rubio. Our home offers a great get away retreat, including a gorgeous private therapeutic salt water pool and spa. Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, for accommodations of up to six guests. The Living space is custom laid travertine, and a large open space for entertaining. Great restaurants are just a few miles away as well as local event venues such as The Empire Polo Club, Indian Wells Tennis Garden and World Class Shopping and Restaurants at near by El Paseo in Palm Desert.
