Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is old. We’ve stayed here many times.and It was the only unit left for this year. Aside from the need for new windows and coverings; those vertical blinds 😕. The patio furniture is the cheapest and very uncomfortable.the cookware needs replacing. Old and gross, I know to bring my own skillets.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our second time at this rental, however there were a few things I think would be good to address. I wanted to keep the glass top table clean but there was no glass cleaner. The cleaning supplies were all over the place, no organization, no trash bags. The TV was a bit hard to navigate for us, it would have been nice to have directions, we are not very technical. We love the place but it could use a little upkeep. We will however return if possible.

Great location! The only downfall was the misunderstanding between the condominium community and Stubbs on the regulation of dogs. We paid an extra 600 to have our dog at a dog friendly condo. But, once on the property, the community (HOA) told us the dogs are not permitted and that we would need to take them off property to go to the bathroom. This condominium community is located directly on the dog beach in Del Mar. The other information I wish VRBO or Stubbs would have revealed was that the Del Mar "Dog Beach" has a leashed dogs only rule. It is a little hard to allow dogs to run and play in the ocean and on the beach if they are leashed. We would have certainly stayed in a less expensive area if we would have known about all these rules ahead of booking or arriving to the condo.

Clean and comfortable

Wonderful location! Easy to get anywhere in San Diego area. Beautiful views of the ocean from the observation deck and direct access to beach. Enjoyed the beautiful weather on the private patio.

A wonderful 6 nights at Pacific Surf, Del Mar Beach Club

The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need to cook. The stairs to the beach were a bit of a challenge when we first arrived but soon realized that what was at the bottom of the stairs was a wonderful beach. The views were amazing as well as the sunsets. We are hoping to return next year.

Great communication, easy check in, clean. A little warm at night without fans in each room. Kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment. Loved the patio and deck off master. Would stay here again. There was construction going on with the building across from us.

Annual Summer vacation

We would rent this one again in the future. I would recommend telling renters about the construction going on both on property and in the street. My son broke his elbow our first day there due to one of the large man made crevices in the pavement:-( His trip was totally ruined

Fun for a family

We stay at the Del Mar Beach Club every year with our family. The condos are all great for what we need them for. The beach is semi private and the waves are gentle for the little ones. When we arrived, we had issues with the lights and internet not working. Even though it was after hours, there was someone to help us almost immediately and got everything up and working. I had to drano one of the sinks, but after coming here for so many years, things like that are common and not unexpected. The beds were comfortable and towels were clean. We’d definitely use this condo again.

Its a nice place

So I think my expectations were made higher by the rules of the property, so I may have been a little disappointed at first. They set expectations of how to act once you get to the property I think I expected perfection. There were a few items that stood out, like shipping tape holding down the stair tread, and the leaking drain in the kitchen sink. Neither a big deal, and since my son is a journeyman plumber he quickly fixed the sink. Once the initial surprised wore off I realized its great place to stay in. Its roomy, and has plenty of bathrooms for a big family stay. All the appliances were nice, and so was the kitchen items they provide. I think my biggest complaint has nothing to do with the property, but the irresponsible dog owners that refuse to leash their dogs, and let them run all over you, your stuff, and my grand son. There is a dog beach close to the property beach, and 9 out of 10 dog owners just tlet them run crazy. Its super annoying. But again the house is really nice, and well stocked with cooking necessities.
