Perfect little apartment minutes away from Rapallo

A charming, authentic apartment in the most gorgeous area, this is very handy for the beach at San Michelle di Pagana and for Rapallo where you can also get the boat to San Fruttuoso. The owners were absolutely lovely and keen for us to enjoy the delights of the area. A real gem.

Sehr schön gelegene, ruhige Wohnung mit viel Platz für eine Familie, komfortabel dank zweier Bäder. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge mit den Villen. Für das Auto gibt es einen eigenen Stellplatz. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß, auch nach Rapallo und nach S. Margherita kann man gut laufen. Agata und Alberto haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen.Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal für Ausflüge auf die Halbinsel von Portofino, auch der Bahnhof von S. Margherita ist zu Fuß zu erreichen, so dass man auch ohne Auto weitere Orte erkunden kann.Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Très bon séjour chez Alberto et Agatha

Merci à Alberto et à Agatha pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. L'appartement est très bien situé. Les propriétaires nous ont donné de très bons conseils sur les jolis villages à visiter : Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Les 5 terres...et les bons restaurants!. Jolie crique pour se baigner à proximité. C'était super!

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Agata is an excellent host- really helpful and great with communication. The apartment is in a good location midway between Rapallo and Santa Margarita with a lovely view from the balcony and easy access to the beaches of St Michele. The communal living area is a bit small for four but the bedrooms are a good size and the apartment is well equipped with washing machine and drying rack, microwave and WiFi. We hope to be back!

Italian hospitality at its finest

And our family loved staying here, it is a short walk from the main street and beach with cafés and wine bars. A 15 minute walk in either direction will find you in Santa Margarita, or Rapallo, both are charming cities with lots of great food options, and beautiful Italian streets to explore. It was a great home base to visit Portofino, Camogli and Cinque Terre. Our hosts were as kind as can be And even provided us with wine and fresh fruit from their trees that were delicious. We hope to make it back again, and would love to stay here without hesitation.

Ruhige Wohnlage, Zuglärm gering, laute Hochzeit in der Nachbarschaft, Alarmanlagen, Hundegebell, Hahnengeschrei, Motorräder. Technische Defizite: zu wenige und unterschiedliche Steckdosen, defekte Lichtschalter, Wackelkontakt am WLAN. Mikrowelle (ohneGrill) musste zum Kochen auf den Küchentisch gestellt werden, weil der Platz auf der Küchenzeile nicht ausreichte, Gasbackofen, Kaffeemaschine war ein Espressoaufbereiter (cilio classico, Cucina dimoderna…). Keine Kaffeekanne.Wackelige Stühle, Matratze und Kopfkissen riechen nach Schweiss, Matratzenfedern gebrochen. Grosser guter Kühlschrank, getrenntes grosses Gefrierfach. Gurkenschäler fehlt. Wäscheständer alt und erneuerungsbedürftig. Nur 1 Badetuch, Waschmaschine mit geringer Schleuderdrehzahl vorhanden. Viele alte künsthistorischen Bücher engen den Platz der Küche ein.

Wir haben uns in dem Appartment sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht zuletzt sorgten die Deckenventilatoren für eine angenehme Temperatur. Die Gegend ist reizvoll, Bus oder Bahn bieten sehr gute und günstige Verkehrverbindungen zu umliegenden Städten. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett.

Vacanza meravigliosa!

Appartamento in ottima posizione, comodo a tutto, spazioso, pulito e perfettamente attrezzato! I proprietari sono due persone stupende, molto gentili e ci hannodato preziosiconsigli per il soggiorno. C'è il parcheggio privato, che è essenziale in una zona come questa. Tutto assolutamente perfetto!!! Le località nei dintorni sono paradisiache. Consiglio le spiagge di San Fruttuoso, Baia del Silenzio, Paraggi, Framura, San Michele di Pagana. Poi immancabile la visita alle cinque terre, fatta in barca è speciale! Una vacanza davvero indimenticabile!

A peaceful stay

Alberto and Agata were very friendly and welcoming in letting us know about the area and what to do. The flat is very comfortable with a fabulous view from the balcony. Parking was available nearby and the beach was a ten minute walk away downhill - the only disadvantage is the walk uphill coming back! The wine and fruit left for us on arrival were a very pleasant touch.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der San Michele di Pagana sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt von unseren Vermietern, sogar mit einer Flasche Wein! Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht, besonders schön ist der Balkon mit dem wunderbaren Blick. Wir haben die ganze Woche das Auto stehen gelassen, sind gewandert oder haben den Bus oder den Zug genommen. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön! Sehr empfehlenswert!

charming place with wonderful hosts

Agata and Jerry we so helpful and provide a very nice apartment and a great location. The picked us up at the train station and Jerry took us back for our departure train 9 days later. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and in a quiet location. A 10 minute walk to the bus station gave us good access to neighboring towns. We bought week long bus tickets for $21 each that took us everywhere we wanted to go - Rapallo, Santa Margherita, and Porafino. If you don't have a vehicle the walk to the bus and nearby beach includes 130 steps down to the road below. We did not mind as it helped keep us in shape. Highly recommend and would stay there again. Thanks so much to our friendly, accomodating hosts Agata and Jerry!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen! Unser Vermieter-Ehepaar hatte wirklich an alles gedacht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, Betten waren bezogen, Handtücher lagen bereit, es gab alles, was man benötigt, selbst Seife, Toilettenpapier, Küchenrolle, Geschirrhandtücher, Spülmittel, sogar Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine. Nach unserer 18stündigen Anreise stand eine Flasche Wasser und eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung im Kühlschrank und Herr und Frau Verzelli waren sogar besorgt und bemüht um unsere beiden mitgereisten Katzen und boten ihnen sofort Wasser an. Die Vermieter waren während des Aufenthalts jederzeit erreichbar und es lag ihnen viel daran, dass wir immer zufrieden waren. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, es gibt zwei Duschmöglichkeiten (Badewanne und Dusche), es sind zwei Toiletten und zwei Waschbecken vorhanden, ein kleiner Balkon mit herrlicher Aussicht, zwei getrennte Schlafzimmer, insgesamt gab es (ausziehbare Einzelbetten und Sofa mit Schlaffunktion mitgezählt) sage und schreibe 8 Schlafmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung ist ideal für 4 Personen. Ligurien ist sehr schön, aber es gibt nur Kies, keine Sandstrände. Zum Strand führt eine Treppe direkt am Haus den Hang runter bzw. hinauf, sodass man innerhalb von 5-10 Minuten am Wasser ist. Wenn man die Gegend erkunden möchte, ist Pisa, eine Seilbahn in Rapallo, das größte Aquarium Europas in Genua und sicherlich die Grotten empfehlenswert. Es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort (Basko, Penny, Coop) sowie viele Restaurants.

Fantastic apartment

I just returned from spending two weeks in Agata and Alberto’s apartment in San Michele and it was a wonderful experience! Agata and Albeto were so great to work with, very helpful. Communication was quick and easy, they were wonderfully responsive! It was so helpful that they picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. That took a lot of stress off me, not being very familiar with the area. I also appreciated that they spent a lot of time with me showing me the apartment and explaining how things worked. The welcome gift of wine was most appreciated too! The apartment itself is lovely, sunny and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers always have good water pressure and lots of hot water. It was really nice to have a washing machine in the kitchen too. The star attraction though is the balcony! It’s fantastic with a beautiful view of the hills surrounding the village. I loved sitting out at night watching the lights and marvelling at how peaceful the area is! The apartment’s location is great, very easy to get places. San Michele is right between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, so going to either town for dinner or sightseeing takes almost no time. The bus service is very efficient and frequent. You can also walk to either town in less than 30 minutes. The apartment is in the hills so there’s some climbing to do every day. There’s a set of 135 steps from the village, but you can also walk the road instead. The apartment elevator was appreciated.
