The house has nice views of the hillside. Didn’t spend much time there as we were out exploring most days. The driveway was the main downside of this property. It’s has about a 40-45 degree slope that is 120 feet long and winds down the hill. You have to park on the street and walk up and down the winding steeply sloped driveway to come and go from the house, which is below street level. Definitely not a good choice for the elderly or anyone with bad knees, as it hurt my knees every step coming and going up and down the driveway.The driveway street entrance has a very heavy gate that must be manually pulled open and closed, which takes an effort to move. The microwave and clothes dryer did not work as advertised. A working microwave was brought in after one week passed of our two week stay. The dryer ran, but did not dry my clothes after running repeated cycles for hours. My clothes were left with a bad mildew smell and could not be worn after washing them due to being so long in a dryer that could not dry them. There are many dogs in the neighborhood that bark throughout the night and early morning, which force you to close bedroom windows instead of leaving them open for a breeze. You still hear dogs barking with the windows closed. The neighbors feed stray cats regularly and there are a lot of them around. There is no central air conditioning, if you want to sleep with AC.

Maison avec espace

De bonnes vacances dans cette maison. La propriétaire est réactive ( pb d’evier bouché). Bain à remous au top sous la maison à cote de la piscine. Mais l’eau était trop froide (non utilisée.) Bon rapport qualité / prix! Si l’occasion s’y presente nous retournerons dans cette maison et profiterons de la piscine😁

Satisfaits globalement mais points à revoir

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette agréable villa située dans un quartier calme et en hauteur avec vue de Vilanova del Vallès. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, l'hôte était à l'heure et nous avons pu profiter de la maison immédiatement. Lorsque nous avions besoin d'aide, le contact était facile via WhatsApp et les réponses adaptées. Nous avons pu profiter des nombreux équipements de la villa (terrasse, piscine, jacuzzi, barbecue, tv avec nombreux choix de films et musiques). Par contre nous avons été surpris de la qualité des prestations par rapport à l'annonce et au tarif demandé. En effet, il nous a semblé que cette maison manquait d'entretien courant : - escaliers tournants vers la piscine dangereux si enfants (risque de chute car éléments de sécurité manquants : rambarde au début et à la fin) - manque les fenêtres coulissantes et volets devant la piscine alors que présents sur les photos de l'annonce - interrupteurs avec éléments manquants - volets roulants électriques non fonctionnels ou manquants - hauts parleurs du jacuzzi bluetooth presque hors service (un sur deux fonctionne et grésille) - tapis de course dangereux, risque de chute et surchauffe - plaques chauffantes de la cuisine très longues à démarrer - portail coulissant de la maison difficile à manœuvrer (lourd) - sols fatigués, carrelage/parquet bois ne tient pas à des endroits... Nous souhaitons toutefois souligner que nous avons été satisfaits globalement de notre séjour. Merci à Mar pour son aide. Seul le problème de manque d'entretien flagrant nous a un peu déçus par rapport au prix payé. Par rapport aux photos de l’annonce, on s'attend à beaucoup mieux.

Barcelona trip

We had an excellent stay at this gorgeous modern home for 2 weeks. The owners were attentive and communicative the whole time before arrival and during our stay. They brought us wine, made excellent restaurant recommendations, and treated the pool and hot tub 2 times during our stay. We stayed with my husband and I, 2 grannies, and our daughters ages 4 and 6. There was a grocery store and a playground and several restaurants 5 minutes away. It was a nice escape from the busy city and yet still had conveniences. It was about 20-30 minutes to most locations in Barcelona. It has a gorgeous valley view in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed an espresso every morning on the deck to watch the birds. A glass of wine in the evening to watch the bats. The house is mostly single level and open concept which is nice. The second bathroom is downstairs in the same room as the pool and hot tub, so for safety issues with the kids we did not utilize that bathroom most of the time. The kitchen was perfect and there was laundry available if you needed it. The backyard was enough space for the kids to play football and there was a trampoline to jump on. The indoor pool and hot tub was a luxury and we loved them every day. I would highly recommend this home. The only drawback for many people will be the gate and driveway. The gate is very hard to open and close which meant we had to open it for the grannies. The driveway is very steep and in a z shape. So you need to 2 point turn on the turns to go up or down the driveway. Which also meant we had to do that for the grannies. The pool is not heated so it was a bit chilly, but the kids could care less!

La casa esta en mal estado para alquilar.

Llegamos el domingo, hasta ese día la comunicación y el trato había sido excepcional, llegamos y la primera sorpresa, que ya que vieron que íbamos con abuelos de 82 años nos podrían haber dicho que la casa tenia una rampa para bajar muy muy muy empinada y sin barandas. Lampara con bichos, colillas, basuras llenas, la barbacoa una botella de gas vacía y la otra con muy poquito, las baldosas de la cocina se levantan, hay dos escalones para bajar a la barbacoa, los dos sueltos, faltan interruptores de la luz por toda la casa, el yacuzzy tenían que venir el miércoles a mirar el agua no vinieron, jueves a la noche ya avise por que el agua estaba sucia, vinieron el viernes, 3 días sin yacuzzi, hemos salido todos menos los abuelos que no se metieron con granos, según el medico es foliculitis del yacuzzy, mi hijo de 8 años el que mas ha estado en el agua esta comidito. No solo no volvería, si no, que no la recomiendo. He de decir que los anfitriones me pidieron disculpas y pero claro, cuando te gastas ese dineral en una casa esperas que al menos este en buenas condiciones, de poco te sirven luego las disculpas.

Nice view but not as expected

The object has a very nice view and you can have breakfast on the big terrace in the morning sun. It has sun the whole day what is perfect for the big window front of the property. It has a big BBQ working with gas. The owners are very friendly. You need a car for everything up there and you cant park it on the property unless you have an SUV. The house is very overdue for a renovation. The furniture is cheap, old and worn down. Some of the cupboards where broken, tiles on the floor are loose, brand holes in the couch, light switches broken or missing, some repairs are made with duct tape, a wheel is missing on the lower tray of the dishwasher so you can only use the upper tray or your dishes are still dirty after washing, washing machine is rusty and grips are broken so its very hard to use it, climate control did not work at all but you can switch it on manually. The list could go on... The pool was not clean on arrival and was not cleaned during our stay (but promised two times). Water is cold like ice so we could not use it anyway. The jacuzzi was not clean as well but 35 degrees warm. The internet is very slow. Most of the time we measured <0.5 MB/s which is not enough to livestream TV or work properly. We had several outages where internet was down for several hours. On day internet was down over 24 hours. We had to buy a mobile router with 4G network that had 50MB/s to work which is around 100x faster then the installed internet. That internet speed is not acceptable in 2019. Its a managed PPOE network so you cant administrate the router or the connection (im a IT guy). All together, you can life there if you dont mind some of the mentioned above. I think the price is way to high for the condition of the property. With this prices they could invest more in the object like buying a new light switch for example. Property is a money maker and you will notice it during your stay. Just to be sure we documented everything in pictures or videos. So we dont have to deal with false claims.

Séjour très agréable

Villa très agréable très propre et très bien équipée. Vue magnifique sur la nature Bien située pour visiter Barcelone. Il ne faut pas s arrêter aux détails de finition. C est dommage que cette villa ne soit pas complètement terminée extérieurement car elle est magnifique. Nous y avons passé une très agréable semaine.

Lovely house in the countryside

We were a party of 6 adults and the house was perfect for us. Lots of space inside and out and we felt very comfortable. The house was very clean and well equipped and the hot tub was a lovely surprise. Thank you to Mar for a late check out as we had an evening flight home. A car is necessary as there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but we were aware of this before we traveled and the nearest supermarket was only a five minute drive away. Would love to return again one day.

Beautiful place

We stayed here with our 3 children. Such a lovely place. Just out of the main city but not too far to travel in daily. Very close to the beach. The villa has everything you need. The pool was a bit cold but it’s May so understandable, it didn’t stop the children jumping in though. The hot tub was lovely. Outside was such a sun trap so a lovely place to sit and sunbath. The owners were very nice and very helpful, gave us information on restaurants and parking and getting around the area. I’d highly recommend staying here and in future if we return we’d love to stay here again.
