We would stay again

We enjoyed our time here. I loved the sound of the church bells and having a courtyard to park inside. The check in was smooth and easy. The hosts were responsive when we had questions about the washing machine. Property was clean and well equipped.

Great stay close to landing beaches and Bayeux

This was the perfect place to explore the landing beaches and cemeteries from. It was so close to Bayeux, also a great town to explore. My kids loved the lofted area, calling it the kid lounge. The gated courtyard means my kids could run around and I didn’t have to worry about traffic. Added bonus- the large trampoline was a hit! Thank you!

Great location and owners were friendly. However, their huge dog ran free in the yard and growled at me on more than one occasion. I thought the dog was going to bite me. The towels were smelly, and shower was very small. Definitely avoid.

It’s a great quiet location. We liked it as it was central to visiting Normandy and the D day beaches . It’s close to bayeux if you need and supplies restaurants etc. The owners are right on site at the main house if you need anything. They did check in with us to make sure all was in order . I would stay again if we return to the area.

Fantastic spce

Property is excellent, high standards perfect for our trip to Bayeux, Caen, and Luc-sur-mare. Property is in the garden of the hosts, they have a wonderful Cat and Dog who will come and visit if your missing your pets. Village is rural perfect and quiet, not many immediate facilities or shops but many within a short drive. Countryside is stunning, lots of cider houses, and calvados places Hosts are excellent

A Wonderful Place in a village!!

This wonderful gite in the small community of Agy, south of Bayeux, was a refreshing break and a handy location for visiting all the D-Day activities. It was clean and well equipped and Veronique and Sebastian were most welcoming. We loved hearing the church bells toll the hours, reminding us of a simpler time, when people did not have watches and used the bells to know the time. We have 3 little dogs with complex medical needs and the green grass of the yard give them a wonderful place to relax. We highly recommend this gite and would stay there again!!

Perfect hosts, perfect location, perfect cottage

Perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in the Bayeux and Normandy area. The cottage was fabulous, the yard was a plush environment to enjoy some fresh air and nature. Our hosts had everything waiting for us, and the cottage was well appointed for cooking and dinners in. The kids enjoyed the loft. We appreciated the great array of information available on the shelves along with a few toys and games. Veronique and Sebastian provided all that was needed and gave us the space to enjoy our time. As the cottage sits next to a small Church, the bells took a little geeting used to...especially at 7am, but this also added to the charm. Excellent location, only minutes to centre Bayeux, and short drives to all of the historical sites. Highly recommend for small families and groups. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

Very good place in a village next to the church and bells hourly.

We have enjoined our 4 night stay with my 2 kids. We had some problem with connecting the Wifi in the first day and contacted the owner the problem was solved next day. Lovely garden, good location, good size for 4 or 5 people, small kitchen but it is OK for short stay.

Wonderful property in excellent location

This was a really super property for us, with two girls aged 10 and 6. The house met every need both in terms of comfort and facilities. Our hosts were so kind and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. We were also able to use the garage for storing the four bikes we brought with us. A lovely location, nice and quiet, but also close to main routes for easy access around the wider area, and just down the road from the wonderful Bayeux. A great base for cycling and so much to see and do in the vicinity. We would definitely return. A big thank you to our lovely hosts!

Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Grand calme dans le village et la propriété. Le logement est juste suffisant pour un couple, le confort est lui aussi suffisant mais sans plus. Quelques rénovations devraient être faites ( tabourets cassés)... Jardin calme mais partagé avec les propriétaires, l'intimité n'est donc pas assurée même si les propriétaires sont très discrets. Les photos de présentation donnent à penser que le logement de vacances est situé plus loin que la maison principale...Belle région et charmant village proche de Bayeux. L'église juste à côté est le coup de coeur de cette réservation. Bon séjour.

A very nice upstairs apartment with two bedrooms in Ayr, a 10 min drive to Bayeux, owners were friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Had a lovely 4 day stay.
