The name of the estate, Es Molinet, comes from the fact that there used to be a mill on the property, powered by water from a spring, which ground wheat to make flour.
The spring still works, and there is a pond on the property with a constant flow of water.
Adjacent to the property are some renovated washhouses where the villagers used to wash their clothes.

The beaches are 15-20 km away. There is a bakery in the village with delicious products. There are also some excellent restaurants, such as "Miceli" (one of the best restaurants on the island). An optional air conditioning service is available for €15 per day, which you can request upon arrival. All rooms have air conditioning, as does the recently renovated kitchen. For safety reasons, the kitchen has a wood-fired oven, which is not required for use.
