Great value for a Small but Functional Apartment

The apartment is in a very quiet area except for some neighbors dogs sometimes barking. The room is around 200 sq. feet but it has everything that you need. Bring your own soap though. It was an addition to the main house therefore, it is very separate and private. The only negative that I can state is that the owner requested that we make up our own bed when we arrived. The couch/sofa is essentially the bed because there is no room for both bed and a sofa. It made for a comfortable bed once it was put together. The town is very sleepy with most restaurants not being open unless you want to overpay for the 3 that we found opened. I recommend that you go to the neighboring towns for your variety of restaurants. There is a castle in the town but it was closed for renovations when we were there. Lidia was very friendly and accommodating. She doesn't speak English but does speak a little bit of French. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and reasonably priced apartment.

El anuncio es preciso en cuanto a las características del apartamento, salvo por la parte del Wi-Fi, ya que en el anuncio VRBO pone que sí cuenta con él, pero la conexión es inexistente. Lidia es una propietaria excelente, atenta, educada y detallista. En este sentido, 5 estrellas para ella. La experiencia global ha sido positiva, con los siguientes pros y cons que he encontrado. PROS - Anuncio transparente y claro (salvo por el wi-fi). Se ofrece lo que pone en en el anuncio. - Disponibilidad, detallismo y atención de Lidia. - Calonge en sí no tiene playa, pero es sitio estratégico para alcanzar muchas playas y muchos lugares de interés rápidamente. - Sitio ideal para escapadas de fin de semana CONS - Durante los 4 primeros días, el grifo de la ducha daba calambre. Entiendo que este problema podría haberse arreglado más rápidamente. - No wi-fi. - El precio fue algo caro, en comparación con las características de lo que se ofrece.

Alles wat bij de advertentie stond klopt niet! Je slaapt in een zolderkamer waar er geen WiFi is, geen bed is, maar je moet slapen op een zetel! Het is daar snikheet in die kamer maar daar houden ze geen rekening mee! We zijn ons een hotel gaan boeken, want dit is onrespectvol

Alles super!

Wir waren eine Woche in Calonge und es war super-schön! Lydia hat uns sogar vom Bus abgeholt und wieder hingefahren, da wir ohne Auto unterwegs waren. Sie war bei Fragen immer ansprechbar und sehr nett! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Muchas gracias Lidia, pasamos unas vacaciones inolvidables. El estudio esta muy limpio y es muy confortable, esta muy bien ubicado ya que a todos los pueblos de alrededor puedes llegar en 15 minutos. Lidia es una anfitriona magnifica, siempre pendiente de nosotros y nos hizo la estancia aun mejor. Volveremos seguro!!

Estancia Tranquila y Playas Preciosas!!

Desde que llegamos, la propietaria Lidia fue muy amable con nosotros, preocupada en explicarnos todos los detalles del entorno y las playas que hay en la zona, preocupandose por nosotros hasta nos dejo una sombrilla! Estudio pequeño pero muy comodo y limpio con tu propia terraza, en una zona tranquila y cerca en coche al pueblo con una gran cantidad de supermercados y calas preciosas. Totalmente recomendable! Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans cette chambre d'hôtes. La maison n'est pas loin de jolies plages et calanques. Les commerces sont proches. Il faut quand même être véhiculé. Ce coin de la Costa Brava est donc très sympa. La chambre est propre et fonctionnelle. Lydià est très gentille, serviable et a beaucoup d'humour. Bref, nous recommandons vivement cette chambre!!

"Avril 3 nuits - Grande c...

"Avril 3 nuits - Grande chambre indépendante située au 2ème étage de la maison de la propriétaire avec un grand lit formé de 2 lits simples. Belle vue de la fenêtre, décor champêtre avec de belles montagnes. Aménagement extérieur de la maison agréable bien que nous étions qu’au début du printemps. Dans la chambre, une grande salle de bain avec douche et petit frigo, très pratique. On peut garer la voiture dans la rue devant la maison. La situation géographique est très bien pour visiter la Costa Brava, un quartier tranquille près des autoroutes pour les déplacements en voiture. Lidia nous a conseillé un petit resto à proximité pour le petit-déjeuner et prendre le repas du soir : La Jovita, une grilladerie typique et conviviale, très bien. Lidia est gentille, enjouée, aimant les gens, elle se débrouille un peu en français et en anglais et trouve les moyens pour se faire comprendre et comprendre son interlocuteur."

"Lidia es una persona muy simpatica. Presta mucha atencion al bien estar de sus inquilinos y les da informaciones utiles sobre el entorno de Calonge u otros. El alojamiento es super bueno y muy lindo. Una cama grande, un cuarto limpio que parece mas a un apartamento individual. Tiene todo lo necesario para cozinar un minimo. Esta totalmente independiente. "Muchas gracias, LIDIA!! We spent 10 days here in a quite and peaceful neighborhoud near calonge. The room is very clean, comfortable and cosy. There is a bath ensuite and a cooler. Also you can find dishes - its more like an apartement than a room. You have an own terrace and a great view to the valley. The pictures are very realistic. Our host, Lidia, is a very very helpfully, friendly person. We can really recommend this accommodation! Calonge is a little authentic village off the beaten track. by car its only 4 minutes afar. per pedes about 10 minutes to walk. to the beautiful beach Platja de Castell its ca. 15 minutes by car. Thats the only virgin beach of the costa brava.. MERCI, LIDIA! accueil très sympartique des propriétaires. "
