The space

Our cabin is fully furnished and equipped with everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. There is one king bedroom with adjoining bathroom and shower, as well as a loft with a queen-size bed. Kitchen has gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and all cooking utensils. Family room has a gas log "fireplace" to make it extra cozy. The dining room, living room and back deck have gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have recently added a beautiful outdoor area with fireplace and seatings for BBQing.

With the cabin rental, guests have access to all parts of the cabin and BBQ area. We have 100 acres of beautiful property to enjoy however, some areas (away from the cabin) are used for events*, which are usually scheduled in advance. We also have landscaping people come up from time to time to maintain the property, but not everyday of course! :) *Events are usually small elopements that last 2-4hrs during the daytime.

Interaction with guests
We have a lockbox and code system so you can easily check into the cabin after 3pm. We can answer any questions you might have via Airbnb. We do have a camper on the property (at a good distance from the cabin) during summer. We don't live there, but we use it occasionally when the cabin is rented. We'll usually give you a heads up when we're around.

Absolutely NO PETS! No exceptions.

Home includes 1 king bedroom, 1 loft with queen bed. 1 bath with shower. A full kitchen with gas stove, oven, dishwasher and fridge. Fully efficient kitchen includes microwave, coffee pot, toaster. Pots, pans and dishes included. Family room is open to dinning area and kitchen and looks over the mountain ranges. Gas fireplace provides warmth. Bathroom heater and additional electric heaters provided. There are fans for hot days as there is no need for A/C (trust us). It's usually 10-15 degrees cooler up there. Home also includes a back deck and beautiful outdoor area with fireplace+bbq set and seating. Bearwallow Mountain is rich in history - this property has been visited by generations since the 50's. *** Cabin sits on 100 acres.. you won't believe the views!
