We walked to the lodge each day and it felt a little tiring but not too bad. Communication was great and the place had everything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
This property was clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the spas were not in good working order; nevertheless, we enjoyed some time in the hot, bubbly.
An amazing location, just five minute walk to Canyon Lodge. Jonathan was very quick to respond to any questions that I had and made check in/out instructions very clear.

Great location. Easy to walk to the ski lifts. Nice big living room.
We stayed here when there were mountains of snow everywhere was magical. Hard to find the condo at first because was buried under snow but the crew did a good job. Had everything we needed to enjoy the mountain and relax.

Great place
Property is located in a great location, close to everything. Cooked every night I. The kitchen and it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. Two TVs and Netflix, what more could you want. Would definitely stay here again.
The property is very convenient for the Schoolyard Express lift. Easy walk, even carrying our boards. Everything about the property was nice. Sort of pricey, but the easy walk eliminated any need for a trolley, so I guess that is what you are paying for. Overall, a great trip and nice rental experience.
Our stay was great . It was a quiet cozy condo . Close to outdoors. King bed was amazing . Well equipped kitchen . Close to canyon lodge . We enjoyed our stay . Thank you

Perfect getaway!!!
My boyfriend and I had ample room at this condo for all of our gear!!! And one could not ask to be closer to the Canyon Lodge, as it is just a few minute walk to the mountain. The owners make you feel completely at home and are just a phone call away if you need anything. We would definitley love to stay here again for our next visit!!
Short walk (3 min) to canyon lifts. Simple comfortable recently updated condo with all the ski/snowboard amenities. Perfect for our family of 3. Good communication.
Had an awesome time snowboarding in Mammoth. The property was nice and clean and the short walk to the lifts was fantastic. Jonathan communicated with us every step of the way, providing weather and other updates as he got news of them which was much appreciated given the storms rolling through. Will definitely plan another trip in the future and would stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property and the owner was awesome to deal with. The property was just what we needed for our stay. It has been well maintained and was very clean. The only reason we didn’t put 5 stars for cleanliness is that the non-carpeted floor could have used a mop and the only reason we noticed at all is because we have a little one crawling around on the floor and she ended up with dark little hands and feet.
Overall we were very satisfied with the rental and could see this being a great place to stay for the ski season as well.
I was mainly using this as a place to keep my things and sleep while I explored the area. It was a fine rental with plenty of room for 3-4 people. The humidifier is a really nice bonus for anyone who isn't acclimated to the dry air at that altitude. It could have been a little cleaner (there were cobwebs along the ceiling, the carpet was stained, and there was ceiling damage), but nothing too bothersome. It was great for what I was using it for, and would stay there again.

Mammoth rental
Jonathan was excellent at always getting back to me and answered all my questions in a very timely and courteous manner. The rental was exactly as advertised, excellent location, nice pool and hot tub, laundry facility etc. The only negative was access to barbecue, both nights had to wait about an hour to have access. But overall a very enjoyable experience, comfy bed, comfy couch, well stocked kitchen. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, good amount of space for 4. Very plain. TV in room is very old. Remote in living room was missing. Kitchen well stocked. Parking was an issue for the second car because there wasn’t a parking permit available and got a parking violation sticker (very hard to get off). It’s a good condo, but I’ve been in several other in the same complex better prepared for guests. Needs a few upgrades and more details to make it a better stay.
We checked out from another unit in the same complex and checked in the unit. We only received one hand towel, no bath mat, no tissue and no extra toilet paper roll other than the one in use already. It will be nice to have hand towels for number of stayed guests, in our case 4 people. Since another unit provided us the items I listed above, we expected them to be there. Fire matches were out. By adding a few items, this place will be great! Communication with the owner was very smooth.
If you just want a roof over your head, this is a great place, walking distance to CYN lodge. Ground floor is nice, hot tube is nice. Unit is properly furnished. Parking was easy in the complex.
Now the bad: mattress is old and fairly soft, sinks toward the middle. Cobwebs in various places of unit. Walls (and ceiling walls) are extremely thin. We were woken up repeatedly throughout the night by neighbors. When the folks above us started walking around at 6am in the morning, there was no going back to sleep.

Im sorry you were not satisfied. Most complexes in Mammoth were built in the 1970's, there is little we can do about the noise or walls at this point.

Great place
This place is perfect for two or maybe a small family. This kitchen is good for one cook and it has what you need in it. We ate dinner there every night. We p,aged pool at the common area which was fun. Thought about going to the hot tub but didn't make it. The bed has a heating mattress cover and I loved it. Buying one when I get home. This condo is located in a good place, 15 minutes to the lakes or 10 minutes to the ski area. Only a mile to the village (ok to walk down but walking back is all uphill). The section this condo was in only had our condo rented so it was very quiet. The TV set up was food also

Location
The location is great. Just a short 5 minute walk to chair 7. The condo was good size but had a few issues. The pullout couch was broken which the owner emailed us about as we were driving to Mammoth. We have our 2 kids so that was a big deal. He let us know that there was an air mattress and sheets. We never found the sheets and the air mattress lost air every night.
We were give 1 roll of toilet paper and half a roll of paper towels for 4 nights. Do bring your own.
The little fireplace was great and the jacuzzi was just a few steps away. Besides the bed issue, it was a good stay.

So sorry for the issues you faced. I do wish you had notified me of the missing sheets and leaky mattress, I could have addressed for you right away.
Directions and description of property were accurate. Bed and couch was comfy. Location was close to shopping, lifts, and free shuttle service. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and spices for cooking with which was nice. Spa and pool were nice. Two parking permits were provided. Linens and accommodations could have been cleaned better. There was a used wash rag in the shower hanging on the shower head, the bathroom rug needed washing, old coffee in the coffee pot, and hair on the pillow cases. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Would book again if we were guaranteed clean accommodations. Would have been a 5-star if cleanliness was improved. I would suggest a different cleaning company to the owners to ensure this issue is addressed.

Hi Crystal, thank you for staying with us. In the future please do let hosts know immediately if anything it out of sorts. I would have happily addressed those issues with our on-site cleaning crew immediately.
It’s not bad. Was dirty though. A bunch of white crumbs all over couch when arriving and had to vacuum. Oven had burnt food all over bottom and had to clean. The toilet lid hardware came flying off during first use, and towel holder too after washing hands. Was a very bad start. The place is managed on site and was fixed quick tho. Otherwise ok for a crash pad but not really nice. We did see a bear and cub go through an on-site dumpster at night tho which kinda exciting.

Paying for the location
Pros:
-Walking distance to Canyon Lodge
-Very responsive host
-Resident/Guest parking right in front of building
Cons:
-Bed was extremely uncomfortable and warped (likely due to wear). Both my partner and I did not get any quality sleep
-Bedding was also dated and not very clean (found tons of lint, pilling, and random wood chippings on all layers of bedding)
-Towels felt old, edges were pilling, scent not fresh
-Trash from previous stay was visible around the unit (leftover coffee grinds, baby pacifier and blanket under the bed, uncleaned pans in the kitchen cabinets)
Overall, the unit is habitable and is convenient if you're looking to stay near Canyon Lodge. If you stay here, I would recommend bringing your own bedding and towels. The owner mentioned that there should've been a new bed, bedding, towels, so future stays may include that, but YMMV. For the price we paid, the unit felt very old and lacked the cleanliness I expected.

About the host
Hosted by Jonathan Jennings
We are a young couple who love to get away from the big city and enjoy everything the California Mountains love to offer. We recently purchased this condo as a mountain escape, and put the love and attention into our renovation that we know you will appreciate as much as we do. Our dog Scooter loves to get out and explore the sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors just like us.
Why they chose this property
Location, Location, Location. When deciding where we wanted to purchase our condo, we knew we wanted to be in a 'park it for the weekend' location. From this fantastic condo, you can walk to the lifts and the Village, or jump on the Mammoth Trolley or Village Gondola; once you're here you can lose the car keys and relax! While completing our recent renovation, we thought of every luxury we would like in a mountain vacation rental, after all, we will be spending a lot of time here ourselves! From the beautiful wood stove, the convenient ski racks and heated boot dryers, to the smart heating system, soft over-sized couch, and 2 large flat screens; we know you will want to come back again and again.
