About this property

MODERN, CLEAN BEACH HOUSE steps to the sand with AC, Bikes, Parking, Beach Gear

This downstairs unit of our renovated duplex comes with just about everything you need for your beach vacation! The upstairs unit is listed separately and you can rent one or both.

The unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is (1) parking spot in the carport/garage for this unit. If the upstairs unit is not rented you can take both spots.

We have air conditioning in every room and contrary to what some other listings say, you do need it in summer in Newport Beach. We also provide bicycles with bike locks and helmets. We have tons of beach gear (beach towels, surf boards, boogie boards, wetsuits galore, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, pop up tents, etc..) Our kitchen has just about anything you need to cook a great meal for the family. We provide some basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper, starter coffee pods, etc...

The bedrooms are adorned with modern furniture and amenities. We provide quality bedding that we own and launder on site (not like other rentals that rent linens). We have TV's in every room, AC in every room, Ceiling fans in every room, mirrored closets in most of the bedrooms and closets for your stuff. We provide quality mattresses so you will sleep comfortably.

The bathrooms come with basics (blow dryer, soaps, shampoos, towels, etc..). This unit has a tub/shower in one bathroom and shower in the other bathroom. The patio at this unit has a bbq and bench to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze. Washer and dryer for this unit is in the master bedroom and laundry soap is provided.

37th Street is a locals favorite. It is quieter than most streets and has less traffic. The curbs are red on our side of the street so no one will be parking in front of your house and loading and un-loading by your patio (it can be really annoying).

The boardwalk starts on 36th street and we are just a few steps away. It takes just a few minutes to get to the Newport Pier on 21st street. Or a few more miles to the Balboa Pier where you will find the Fun Zone and a little farther down you can visit the famous Wedge beach.

Just a quick walk across the street from the house is a little playground with jungle gym, shady grass area for picnics, and swings. There is also a great basketball court.

Take a morning stroll with your coffee just past the park to Newport Island and look at all of the beautiful water front beach cottages.

Parking in Newport can be difficult (mostly in summer and weekends) so you'll be happy to have a parking spot in the carport/garage (1 per unit possibly 2 spots if one of units is not rented).

Guest who books the house must be at least 28 years old and must be staying at the house (no booking for under age kids). Please do NOT make a reservation if you are coming to party.

We've been to this property a few times and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The property is always impeccably clean, the manager is wonderful and very responsive, and the decor is very tasteful and family friendly at the same time. What we really appreciate are the bikes and beach toys/chairs that are available to guests. Garage parking is great too. We can't wait to go back!

We have been going to Newport Beach for years and this is the best property we have stayed at. It had everything you could want for adults, teens, and kids to enjoy the beach. We also loved having the bikes to get around. Lisa takes pride in the property and it was very clean and well maintained.

AMAZING BEACH HOUSE!!

We've stayed in quite a few beach houses over the past few years and this one by far was the nicest, most comfortable home we've stayed in!! Lisa has EVERYTHING you could possibly need at this home!! Fully stocked kitchen, bikes, wetsuits, beach strollers, umbrellas, chairs….it was amazing! My favorite part was every room had AIR CONDITIONING in it, which really came in handy as a few of the days we were there reached into the 90's! Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay!!!

Beautiful Stay

My teenage daughter and a family friend shared this beautiful, 3 bedroom home for a couple of days. In town for a convention in Anaheim, we thought we'd enjoy our evenings in a better location than around the convention center. We were greated by th property manager who made it very easy to accommodate our arrival time and give us a comprehensive tour of the home. Although the weather was poor, we still enjoyed the setting and the proximity of restaurants. I would recommend this clean and well maintained property.

1st rental we ever stayed that provided for every need. Cleaning supplies , toilet paper and towels, beach towels coffee, bikes ,surf boards, beach chairs, air conditioning, TVs in all rooms. Lisa was wonderful to work with. The house has everything you could need. The only thing to consider is parking. Just be aware that this house is in a primo location so street parking takes some persistence. There is a garage that is fine for a small sedan. We were at the house for Christmas and it was a delightful place to spend the holiday. Would definitely stay again.

Birthday weekend

This place is a gem. The property manager Lisa is responsive and easy to work with. The house is clean and fresh and literally steps from the beach. We loved the bikes and beach equipment available for our use. Overall, my family and a few extra guests had a relaxing and fun time celebrating my birthday weekend. My 18 year old said the location was perfect, near all the areas he likes to be when in Newport Beach. We will be back!

Home run rental

I wasn’t sure exactly where to stay for my trip to NB and last minute settle on this rental. It was a perfect location, a ten minute walk to the peer and an even quicker bike ride(bikes were provided by renter. The house was clean, updated with a perfect kitchen and two new bathrooms. All of my communication with the property manager were met Within minutes. Once in the place there was a great book on the table that answered any and all question relating to location, security, utilities and things to do. The cherry on top was our own parking spot in the garage. I highly recommend this rental.

Spring Break 2016

I looked at quite a few places to stay and I am SO glad I picked this one!! First off, Lisa is wonderful! We've used VRBO before, Lisa is by far the best owner/manager we've ever dealt with. So nice and very reachable. As for the unit, it was awesome. Recently decorated and very clean. My wife is picky about "old" decor - she loved what Lisa did with her place. I really can't say enough about the unit (both up and down - I got a look at the upstairs when the cleaning person was there - it's very nice too). It has everything you could possibly want. We LOVED the bikes. My kids LOVED the boogie boards and surf boards. There is even a few wet suits for use, which the kids wouldn't have been able to "try" surfing without them. The unit has beach chairs, beach towels, beach wagon-thing, umbrellas, EVERYTHING. The inside of the unit was equally decked out. Movie channels, AC, X-box, games, books, ceiling fans, linens, even shampoo was provided. For the price, you will NOT find a better place. In fact, there is NO better place than this complete package unit.

Lisa was a great host! She is very accommodating and kept us well-informed about the property & Newport Beach. The parking that is offered is a small space - but worked well for us as we didn’t use the car at all once we parked. Everything needed is within walking & biking distance. Grocery stores, variety of restaurants, pharmacy, bars & shopping are all within a 2 mile radius. We often took the bikes to the Balboa Fun Zone, played on the beach, and walked the beach. We stayed here with 6 people- 2 adults, 2 teens, 2 pre-teens & it was the perfect size for us with ideal sleeping spaces. Very clean, generous toiletries & all the basics for cooking. We had a very lovely stay. Thank you, Lisa!

Amazing Beach House With All Amenities Included

Lisa is an highly responsive, kind, accommodating hostess whose beach house is nothing short of amazing with all amenities included (cruiser bikes, surf boards, bogie boards, wet suits, frisbees, corn hole, fins, sand toys). Plenty of towels, beach towels,beach chairs, beach umbrellas, very comfortable beds, multiple washers and dryers with detergent available for guest use. We had 6 in our family and it was perfect. With amenities at house, we did not have to burn valuable time driving to rent anything and do much more than relax on a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed our experience!

We are a local family that loves the beach. We had been looking for a beach house for years and finally found the perfect one on our favorite street! We are a down to earth family and work really hard. It takes a lot of work to keep the house up to our standards, but we think it is worth it! We want our guests to come to Newport and go home with great memories!

Why they chose this property

This property is on one of the best beaches in the area, not too crowded, great surf, great sand, next to lifeguard station, majority owner-occupied street so its quieter and cleaner, walking distance to shopping, board walk, restaurants, parks, great coffee and more.

What makes this property unique

When you arrive at the house, you will find a charming and modern, super clean, fully renovated house with new and modern furniture and everything you need in the garage to enjoy the beach. We provide beach towels, bicycles, beach chairs, boogie boards, we have wagons for you to take everything to the beach (even though it's only 6 houses away). Parking can be very tough in the summer but you won't have to worry - you'll have at least 1 spot in the carport - 2 spots if no one is renting the other upstairs.
