The diversity of Azeitão's area is able to give great vacation time to you and your family. THE REGION - The site is included in a vast protected region, called the Arrábida Natural Park, with its exclusive vegetation full of exotic colors, contrasting with the indigo blue of the sea, boarding to wonderful small beaches with its white sand. The village of Sesimbra, with its big charming bay facing a beautiful beach, is equipped with a big variety of restaurants. At the Meco Beach, inserted on a protected zone full of wild dunes and trees, you can feel the sensation that the civilization has been forgotten for one day. The Gastronomy of Setubal Peninsula is famous for its superb grilled fish, wonderful sea-food, as well as all kind of regional sweets, well known across the country. Try the famous melting Azeitão sheep cheese, the Moscatel wine, and much more! WINE - Palmela, a town just a few kilometers away from the farm, is the 2012 European Wine City. The region has some of the best Portuguese wine cellars: “Adega cooperativa de Palmela”, “Casa Ermelinda Freitas”, “Bacalhoa Vinhos” , “ José Maria da Fonseca“ and others. These cellars offer guided tours that will stay in your memory. WE OFFER - A great stay in a fine accommodations inside a large farm, surrounded by trees and Mediterranean vegetation. You can enjoy the late afternoon and the views from a large veranda exotically decorated. Drinks and dinner can be served here at your request. One House with two rooms, living-room, two bathrooms and kitchenette.

***Description***
1) Accommodation is in a villa, completely independent from other houses inside the farm (no other guests in the farm).
2) Leisure area around the villa for the exclusive use of guests with complete privacy guaranteed.
3) Large swimming pool (12 by 6 meters) and varanda always available for use, to be shared with the owners only.

***Rules of the house***
1) Animals and pets must be approved before booking.
2) Check-in time is after 16.00 H (4pm), and check-out time is before 12.00 H (noon)
3) An extra fee of 60€ will be charged for the house cleaning at the end of the stay.
4) Parties and extra people in the house are not allowed without the owners authorization.
5) Extra for a Baby Cot or extra bed, for the week: 50€

Great place

We stayed here during the black-out. Teresa and her huisbrand were very helpfull. The place is a perfect location itself and good for doing daytrips to Sesimbra, Setubal, the beaches, Arrábida and Lissabon.
The place also has a beautiful and big wild garden.

Beautiful and peaceful

We spent a great week at this beautiful place. Teresa and Gian are great hosts, very discrete, helpful and keen you are comfortable. The close by village is cute and the location is great for a daytrip to several beaches or Lissabon with surroundings.

Our impression of the holiday house and the owners was very positive and pleasant, nice environment and beautiful gardens around the property. Positive points:•Quiet surroundings•Nice pool•Very nice housePoints for improvement:•Showerhead attachment in the first bathroom would be great•Comfortable chairs in the garden Overall impression, great house, great location, but you need your own transportation, and nice owners.

Great calm place for a fantastic vacations

It is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the mountains. But very close to Azeitão, supermarkets and main roads. The property has a beautiful area, and a fantastic pool. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. We love the days lived there, the owners live on the property and are extremely friendly. Thank you very much, we hope to return.

Our Stay

Unfortunately our stay in the villa had to be cut short due to a change in our flight. We loved the villa. It as in quiet surroundings but we didn't have to go far to find good restaurants or to get to the places that we wanted to see. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful.

"A great vacation place. A real gem in the middle of the forest , and only 30 minutes drive from Lisbon. A modern and well equipped vacation house, in a very quiet farm. Great view of the surrounding forest, in the middle of the Arabida national nature reserve. A nice swimming pool , Wifi access on a nice balcony. All four of us enjoyed every minute of our stay. Heartwarming hosts – very nice people. Learned a lot about Portugal. In short – it was perfect. Highly recommended. "

A week away in the sun with no noise

With the farm area surrounded by a big wall and gate, the property feels quiet and secure. The "farm" itself is not a busy working area and you are unaware of anything going on. The owners met us when we arrived and took the opportunities to check everything was alright when our paths crossed but otherwise we didn't see them. The swimming pool was a massive 12m x 6m, spotless and cleaned and treated regularly and was very welcome at 40C. Things to be aware of are that the villa does not have air conditioning but it does have shutters all around to keep the sun out. Additionally the WiFi was slow and there was no TV - totally welcome and not a problem in our case but it might impact some people.

Wir haben hier eine tolle Woche verbracht. Das Haus steht auf einem sehr großen Privatgelände, besonders der große Pool mit fantastischem Ausblick in die schöne Landschaft hat uns begeistert. Ein perfekter Ort um zu entspannen. Teresa und Pier sind großartige Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend, immer ansprechbar, aber diskret. Vielen Dank dafür!! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Vollkommene Ruhe

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Gian zum Haus geleitet, weil wir uns ziemlich verfahren hatten. Die Villa liegt ruhig in einer kaum befahrenen Straße (dusty road!) Großezügiger Pool, den nur wir nutzen konnten. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war sehr gut, allerdings ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Schönes Haus in guter Lage

Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist optimal, man ist recht schnell in Lissabon und noch schneller an der Küste / am Meer. Azaitao ist zu Fuss zu erreichen (ca. 30 Min) und hat einige gute Cafes (z.B. Casa Negrito)

Magnifique

Endroit super. Magnifique piscine, pas de vis à vis, paysage de rêve. Les propriétaires habitent sur place mais sont très discret, respectent notre intimité, tout en étant présent si il y a le moindre problème. Endroit parfait pour se reposer au calme, tout en étant à 10 mn des centres commerciaux. Nous avons adorer notre séjour et l'accueil de nos hôtes qui parlent Français également. Nous les remercions pour leur invitation à prendre l'apéro avec eux. Ils sont d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Jardin d'Éden en Arrabida

Magnifique propriété dans un grand jardin méditerranéen. Teresa et Gian nous ont merveilleusement accueilli. Vacances parfaites

Nous avons passé deux semaines en famille dans la propriété de Teresa & Gian, qui nous ont accueilli parfaitement et avec le souci de nous voir passer les meilleures vacances possibles. La piscine est mieux en réalité que dans l'annonce (le cadre est très beau, avec la nature et les collines à perte de vue juste en face. La maison est comme dans l'annonce, juste ce qu'il faut. Teresa & Gian, qui habitent à côté, ont tout fait pour respecter notre intimité et nous faire nous sentir chez nous. Encore un grand merci à tous les deux pour votre accueil. Tout était parfait !

Idyllische Lage, viel Platz und Ruhe

Das Haus liegt direkt neben dem Haus der Vermieter. Diese sind sehr freundlich und lieb und vor allem sehr diskret, man kann einen ruhigen Urlaub verbringen. Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet, mit allem Nötigen. Es bietet viel Platz für 4 Leute. Die Surfbretter kann man gut draußen säubern und lagern. Der Pool ist phantastisch und man hat einen atemberaubenden Blick in ein grünes Tal. Man hat den Pool tatsächlich nur für sich. Das Haus konnte gut kühl gehalten werden (keine Klimaanlage). Insgesamt ist es dort noch schöner, als die Fotos es hergeben. Vielen Dank, Teresa und Gian, und alles Gute!

Ein liebenswertes Paradies

Vom ersten Moment an wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen: Teresa, unsere Gastgeberin, öffnete das Tor und wir führen durch einen großzügig angelegten Garten auf das gemietete Haus zu, ein Idyll umgeben von mediterraner Vegetation, mit Blick auf den großen Pool. Alles war vorbereitet, äußerst sauber, eine perfekt ausgestattete Küche, großzügige Räume, ländlich-robuste und gemütliche Einrichtung. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Augen abgelesen. Teresa und ihr Mann Gian sind einfach liebenswert, wir haben sie in unser Herz geschlossen und unser Abschied waren tränenreich. Nach Setubal oder Sesimbra fährt man 20 Minuten, Supermärkte sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, die Weinkellerei Bacaloa ebenso, der Nationalpark Arrabida ist zauberhaft. Wir haben uns zu Hause gefühlt und dieses Gefühl aus dem Urlaub mitzunehmen, ist schöner als jedes Geschenk.
