The location was amazing. Loved the ski valet. True ski in/ski out. Hot tub, heated pool, ski rental shop all on site. Lots of restaurants just a 5 minute walk. Lots more restaurants, shopping, etc a 15 minute walk away. Parking is not cheap 26/day. The room was not easy to keep at a stable temperature. Controlled by a gas fireplace and a wall heating/cooling unit.
The building is extremely well located for skiers. Most times, the ski in and out is perfect. Snow conditions made it difficult this year. The hot tub and other amenities are perfect. The kitchen is well equipped. This unit was generally as advertised. Still the decor and bedding were not consistent with the price. Curtains and blinds are in bad shape, lighting is dim and the ambiance a little dingy. The owner was welcoming, informative and accommodating. I suggest a refresh is in order.
We loved staying here. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It's on the quiet side of the Aspens so no hot tub noise. Would not hesitate to book it again.
Return guests, love the well-equipped condo, location, ease of communication with owner. Bedroom heater needs attention, only blew cool air. Would definitely return, Whistler provided the goods.
Way too expensive for what it was worth. The cleaning fees are overpriced for this tiny space and there is an additional staying fee on top of it all No cupboards or desks to store any clothing or personal belongings. I can’t see more than two people staying there.

Condo is exactly as listed. A bit dated but clean and amazing location. Bed very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Pool filled w kids on summer weekends. Would stay here sgsin.
We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is amazing - it is so close to the Blackcomb base. The amenities are also top notch - three different hot tubs and the heated pool is actually a good temperature. Parking is not ideal if you have a cargo box and an SUV/truck, you'll be asked to remove the cargo box and store it in a caged area.
Comfy bed, had everything we needed.
I'm hoping to come back again in the future.

Location is good but.........
Julie's condo would be great for those wanting ski in/out access to the Mountain. The Aspens hot tubs and the pools are clean and are welcome retreat after a day on the slopes and there is easy access to the Village. The unit itself was certainly not well maintained with dirty and visibly stained duvet covers, moldy and ripped shower curtain, broken television in the Master bedroom, dirty BBQ,dirty oven ware in the drawer, only two dinner knives... but crazy amount of forks,as well as food under the couch. I have had so many great stays all over the world with VRBO and this was my first unpleasant experience and I would not recommend Julie's property at this time.

I am very sorry you found my home not to your liking for your stay, I take a lot of pride in trying to make my guests' vacations as nice as possible. I hire the service of a professional cleaning company after each stay, and they apparently had issues with an employee that week.
I was surprised by your comment regarding the knifes as I personally checked the condo a few days after you left and found plenty of knifes, I am sorry you could not find them.
I appreciate your constructive feedback and had a very strong conversation with our cleaners, I am quite positive our future guests will not have your unpleasant surprise. I hope the free night we provided helped make your stay better.
I wish you the best
Julie
Great experience! Located right on the slopes-close to everything. Exceeded our expectations.

About the host

I was born and partially raised in the French part of this vast country, then travelled around and lived on 4 different continents, and settled in the West Coast in BC for the love of the great outdoors, mountains and ocean. I am passionate about a few things: playing outside, good wine and fresh snow being very near the top of the list :)
I recently acquired this lovely condo right on the slopes, and am excited it will contribute to build lasting memories to nice people, by allowing them to explore the great outdoors Whistler-Blackcomb has to offer, anytime of the year :)
