North Park Hill is awesome.

John is a truly amazing host - and the place was perfect for our group. We opened up the piano and had multiple nights of food and music during our weeklong stay. The space is very warm and inviting, and was perfect for the five of us. Centrally located and yet relaxed neighborhood. Perfect for a mid-sized group. We'd gladly stay again.

Great house for entertaining

Everything was easy at this well stocked house with a great outdoor space for entertaining. The house was clean and the location was great for us.

Not as expected

A group of 5 women came to this house for a girl's weekend in Denver. We chose it for the location and the nice decor. The host, John, was very responsive and eager to accommodate us. Checking in was very easy. The home was well-decorated inside, but the outside did not live up to our expectations. The landscaping in front was overgrown, and the patio tables in the backyard had not been cleaned. The home comfortably sleeps 5 (4 queen beds and 1 single) but it would be crowded for 10. We stayed in the upper floor of the main house, but were informed upon our arrival that there is a downstairs "nanny" apartment where the groundskeeper stays (with his 2 small dogs that bark when people walk by). We felt this information should have been disclosed in advance. While the host and groundskeeper were helpful throughout our stay when issues came up, we felt that a home in this price range should be better prepared for their guests. We would suggest providing instructions for the TV, having wine glasses available, and making sure the showers drain properly. In all, I would say this house is overpriced for what you get.
