Stayed here for 6 nights with 8 adults and had a great time. Great communication with our host throughout the stay. Kitchen and living area were great parts of our stay as was the outdoor courtyard. Convenient stores, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend this to anyone with a large group staying in Denver.

We were here for softball over the 4th of July. Quiet neighborhood and great outdoor space. Girls loved the ping pong table and pinball game. We are close so the lack of privacy didn't really bother us. What you get for a common space outweighs the lack of privacy for us. Would book again for sure!

For the last 15 years, we have joined 2 other couples and spent 4 or 5 days together at different places throughout the U.S. This year, we went to Denver, CO. and spent our time at Holly House. We loved it. Holly House is the most unique VRBO we have stayed in. There obviously was a lot of attention to detail in the furnishing and decor. The appliances are first rate. The pictures in the listing can’t capture the unique flavor of this beautiful house.We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening where we talked about our day, drank some wine, and told old war stories. A perfect ending to our wonderful days.One thing that can’t be readily seen from the pictures is the delightful art work and decorations throughout the house. There are plenty of surprises that we didn’t notice at first. Discovering new ones was a lot of fun.Valissa was great. She provided us with lists of activities in the area including tickets to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. She recommended restaurants and local attractions. Everything worked well at Holly House so we didn’t need to bother her - that’s a plus.Our group doesn’t go to the same place twice so we have said our goodbyes to Holly House. Ours was a worthwhile experience and we highly recommend it.

Holly House is a magical place! The soaring interior space invites guests to take mini trips to different corners of the world, with large coffee table photo books, amazing, well-known poster, print and photo reproductions, old (1910-1912) bound editions of National Geographic, and artifacts from all over the world (Asia, Latin America, Africa). It's almost like every piece of furniture and adornment is curated with the goal of delighting the visitor who stops to take notice. The kitchen and island invites conversation and camaraderie while preparing food or sharing drinks. A long dining table invites inclusion. The sleeping areas are idea for up to 6-8 and the place can sleep 12 comfortably with more bathroom sharing. Valissa even offers additional beds for larger groups, if requested in advance. The outside patio is also amazing, especially at this time of year in Denver, with an open seating area, a gas fire pit and an outdoor kitchen. There is plenty of space for the introverts to retreat into a book when overwhelmed by too much socializing! Also, Valissa is a concerned, attentive and responsive host. She reached out early and often about our changing needs, accommodated each one and eagerly provided advice and answers to any questions we had. We felt well cared for by her during the entire visit. She clearly loves the place and wants others to "get it" the way she does. We recommend both Holly House and Valissa to anyone who wants a secret hideaway Park Hill, Denver!

Very cool atmosphere. Very spacious great outdoor area to hang out. Anything and everything you need to cook any type of meal. Even a washer and dryer. Close to the airport and close to any other adventures you wanna hit around the Denver area. Host is on top of any information or anything you need.

I needed a house for 5 couples and when I saw this unique space I was hooked! Plenty of room to spread out, but community space to come together. The house was clean and felt welcoming as soon as we walked in. We were all impressed with the furniture and decor. So many rentals have the bare minimum. Not this one! The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Each bedroom and bathroom was well stocked with linens and towels. The outside space was fantastic for gathering for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Since this is a converted church with original vaulted ceilings, the bedrooms, while separate, aren’t totally private if that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately, we were there during the hottest week on record for Denver. The evaporative cooling system struggled to keep the house cool during the day, but thankfully the nights got a little cooler so sleeping was comfortable. Valissa is a fantastic host. Great communication and concern for our comfort during the hot days. She was responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property, and in fact have already sent the listing to a friend. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a short term rental.

The pictures cannot do this home justice. It is an architectural gem with a very comfortable, homey feel. I had despaired of finding a good place to have a memorial service for my father, but then I found this place, which is both a church and a home. It is beautiful, comfortable, artfully decorated, and incredibly well equipped. Perfect for a family of cooks. The space is surprisingly large. Parking is easy. And I have never had better communication from a host! I can't say enough!!

Lovely house located in a quiet neighborhood. Very convenient to all of our activities and great communication with the host. As others have commented, the design is unique, with most bedrooms not actually being completely closed off. That might be a concern for some, but it worked for our group of really good friends.
