This property was perfect for our stay from out of state for my son’s wedding. It was a little off the beaten path but that only added to the privacy feature and expansive property to explore and enjoy the view and amazing sunsets. It was all we could have hoped for and thoroughly enjoyed every minute here!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Redemption Rock Lodge. The beautiful log cabin home was very clean and had more than enough space/rooms to comfortably accommodate our family (11 adults). During our stay, we made many special memories spending precious quality time with family! We cooked meals in the lovely kitchen, BBQ’d outside, played horseshoes/cards/board games, went hiking and enjoyed the beautiful sunset view from the deck every evening!!
This beautiful property was perfect for our large family traveling out of state. We really enjoyed the outdoor area watching the sunsets! Communication was good and it is one of the top rental properties we have stayed!
The house was perfect for our family's gathering. The views and quiet were amazing. The hike to redemption rock was worth the efforts. I loved rhe passages on the rocks near the top. God truly blessed us to find this location for our vacation
We had family in town to celebrate Christmas, 7 adults and 3 kids, and were looking for a bigger space to celebrate. This was perfect. Beautiful place, beautiful views and so much space. Highly recommend.
We booked this house as a weekend family outing, and it fit our needs perfectly! It had everything we needed for kids ages 2-15, and adults ranging from 24-80! Would happily book again for future trips.
This was a perfect property for us mountain-loving, happy to be remote family. Beautiful views, clean, spacious. We filled the house, and had a blessed time. Hosts nearby, willing to be available.
The property was great, exactly as advertised and Steve (the host) was prompt in replying to questions. We had family visiting from overseas as well as across the US and all were glad we chose this place.
A great place to get together with our children and grandchildren and celebrate the season. This was the first time we have been here without a foot or more of snow. Still enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the opportunity.
Our family of 14, all met her for vacation. The house was stunning! Owners were easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this home for your family stay!
Despite the June rains, we loved the nightly campfires . There even was a roasting stick for the smores and weiners. . The attention to these small details made our stay carefree. The beds were so comfy too!
Thank you to the Wyncoops and the builder for creating such a wonderful retreat.
Beautiful property, quality design, tastefully decorated, quiet location but only 25 minutes to town. The sunsets from the porch are stunning.
Our family reunion had plenty of outdoor seating and amenities. We will definitely return!
Held a family union at the house and stayed 5 nights, it was like staying at a National Park lodge! There were plenty of beds and room for our group of 18. The house is secluded but just 15 minutes from I-90 with easy access to Spokane, Coeur d'Alene and Hayden Lake. Morning coffee and sunsets on the back deck were beautiful and we saw lots of deer. Would stay again.
We enjoyed a beautiful extended weekend at the lodge. Beautiful hiking our first day, then a beautiful snowstorm on day two that made games and puzzles by the fireplace super cozy. We were 5 families with 5 kids, so the various bunkbed options were perfect.
Well stocked kitchen with essentials, lots of space to spread out, and outdoor space that can't be beat. If you're looking for a reasonably remote location to enjoy the outdoors and a beautiful indoor setting also, this is it!
We were favorably impressed by the architecture and pine furnishings. The layout and outside pavilion accommodated our 20 people comfortably. We did appreciate all the cleaning supplies available.
Suggestions for improvement: 1. Both propane tanks were empty. 2. Silverware drawer needed cleaning as did other drawers. 3. More glasses were needed. 4. We were surprised by the gratuity envelope for the cleaning staff. We have never seen that at a Vrbo house. Do you expect a tip when we check into a clean house or when we leave a mess?
It was overwhelming beautiful! The pictures were spot on. It was very majestic. Three families came from Washington, one family from Montana, and one family with an RV from Nebraska. We had a bbq outside on the covered picnic area on a delux bbq. We had conversations around the fire pit while some we’re playing horseshoes, playing ping pong, or on the hammock. The kitchen had more than you needed with two ovens and an extra large refrigerator. The furnishings and decor were very lodge like and comfortable. I took pictures of the furniture to show my brothers who have built some log furniture. Oh, I forgot to say about the sunsets, view, and front deck, so amazing. An extra kitchen downstairs, two laundry rooms, the bathrooms were very nice. We are not uppity people so for us it was top notch. Did I mention 950 acres? We went to Silverwood for two days, but some would have loved to hike around and especially to Redemption Rock. Also notice the paintings done by a family member. The owner was helpful, kind, and kept me in the loop. Our kids from NE and MO hadn’t seen the rest of us for over a year so our time was too short, but we feel very blessed. Thanks to Steve for a wonderful family trip, your place is amazing and our kids and grandkids had a wonderful time!
Our stay here was just perfect. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable and linen smelled clean which is very important! The kitchen was fully equipped and the grill was great! This cabin is perfect for family vacations as is has plenty of bedrooms for the adults along with bunk beds and shared spaces which the preteens just thought were so fun to have a huge sleepover! The check in was the easiest I’ve had, and the check out as well. There was nothing I would change or add to our experience at the cabin. Bonus point- the story of this cabin was beautiful and allowed us to appreciate it even more.
Easy check in. Kitchen's was well appointed. Our family had a wonderful private get together. Steve called and made sure we were able to get in the home without any problem. He let me know he was available if we needed anything. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy with great views.
Steve Sr. and Jeanette Wynecoop, currently own a Bed and Breakfast in Redmond Washington and now Redemption Rock Lodge vacation rental in Post Falls Idaho.
Why they chose this property
This is a truly unique property and experience, there is not another lodge or cabin rental that is completely private and conveniently located that sleeps up to 20. The lodge was built in 2015 and everything is new and clean.
What makes this property unique
Did we mention private? 950 acres of play land. Hike for days and never leave the private property. See wildlife from the deck. Beautiful sunset view visible from the deck, great rooms and all guest bedrooms. Hike to Redemption Rock or Redemption Rock Tower. Picture above taken from top of property at 4800ft. That is Liberty Lake in the background. You can see 5 lakes and the Spokane river from this spot. Look for the 25 Geocache containers on your way up to the Rock!
