Nice enough place with a lot of beds

The property was clean. It’s a bit dated, but for the price it was nice. We rented this for family for sons 18th birthday weekend. There were a couple of bunk beds in basement that had rails that needed repair, we had several extra beds so no issue. I did not like that the master bathroom wasn’t a private bath. It was the only bath for the upstairs room with bunk beds to use as well as people in general living area. As for the parking, we knew going in it would be a challenge. We did manage to squeeze all 5 vehicles in, very tightly. We had two trucks, two cars and minivan. Overall I’d stay here again. The location is perfect with backroads taking you to either end of the strip, as well as the new road taking you right to the middle of the strip. Maintenance man was very friendly and courteous.

Perfect Space for Large Group

Our cabin was perfect for our ladies conference. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. Even the bunk beds were extra comfy. Very good price. Cabin was very well suited for our Christian group. Lots of Scripture decorating the walls.

Disappointing Experience with Late Check-in and Incompetent Management

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) My recent stay at Chalet was ruined by a terribly handled late check-in process. The management failed to provide the access code in time, leaving me stranded outside the chalet. I spent over two hours on the phone, desperately seeking assistance. It was a frustrating and unprofessional experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. The check-in process at Chalet needs urgent correction to prevent other guests from enduring such a disappointing ordeal. I cannot recommend this chalet due to its poor management and lack of guest care.

Property Needs Repairs/Updates

No problems with the layout or location of the property. However, there is a huge list of problems that need to be fixed. 1. Roaches in the kitchen 2. Side porch light switch has a short in it 3. Blind broke in window at kitchen table 4. Bathroom in bedroom #1-floor next to tub/shower is about to fall in; very soft; water coming from under the wall next to the toilet possibly from bathroom in hallway 5. Ceiling in bathroom in hallway has HUGE wet spot next to the shower and the light switch has a short in it 6. Light switches and plug ins have shorts in them. Some of the plug ins were shooting sparks out. 7. The upstairs A/C unit froze up the first night we got there. 8. The bathroom in the bedroom downstairs didn’t have a shower curtain or rod. They were later found in the closet, but it didn’t have any rings to put the shower curtain on. (This was fixed the next day) We have stayed here before (July 2022), and some of the same problems were there last year. The whole house needs an update. It’s a great house for youth groups to stay in because the set up is perfect. I really would like to see these things fixed before we stay there again. The air was fixed the next day, and they also fixed a clogged sink while they were there.

Perfect cabin for a group!

We had a group of 15 females. The multiple bathrooms and showers were amazing! There is a soft area around the tub in one bathroom, but we had absolutely no problems.

Great option for a Youth Group!

We had our church youth here and had a wonderful time. Affordable pricing and great setup for a large group of young people. It exceeded my expectations. Only helpful change would be to include the door code in the final welcome email so it's readily available. Overall: 5 stars!

Great for Groups

We stayed with a team of 13 girls and 4 adults. There was plenty of room and space for everyone. It was a great property. Only concern is there is only parking for 2 vehicles. It worked out great for us because we had two large vans, if you bring several vehicles some will need to park at the bottom of the hill.

Perfect spot for your group

We were attending a conference at the Leconte Lodge and it was great to come in from the back and not fight the traffic on the parkway. There were plenty of beds for our group and the 2 rooms with bunk beds allowed all the boys to stay together and all the girls together. Adults go their own rooms. We had an issue with microwave and air hockey table but we called and maintenance came and fixed it right away. My only problem was parking. We had 4 vehicles so parking was a challenge but this cabin is close to the office so we were able to park one vehicle there.
