500 m away from the village's center; you can reach it by going for a nice walk along the sea.

Bandol has a lot of beaches. One of them is 150m far from the house. It is easy to reach the house thanks to a typical alley rimmed by a low wall made by stones and full of flowers.

Our visitors with babies do appreciate being on the first floor .. it is so easy when you have pushchairs or strollers !!

Small pets are welcomed.

Equipment for baby is available (small bed and stroller small bath tube high chair) ... so there is no need for clumsy luggages !!!

Sheets and towels (optional): Sheets and towel can be rented (must be required in advance) cost is 25 Euros.

Lovely clean, comfortable apartment in an excellent location. The garden with a view of the sea is a delight, the air conditioning much appreciated with the hot weather we had and the fact that the beach is a short walk down the road was just the icing on the cake! Relax with lovely views and walk everywhere

We have visited Bernard’s place with different family combinations. This time we were a mature group and really appreciated the proximity to the lovely Plage le Grand Vallat just a few minutes walk away. The restaurant there K Banon is a lovely lunch venue. Plage Renecros, is at the opposite end of town but is an easy, flat walk, and is also beautiful with a couple of great restaurants for lunch. Both beaches are very sandy and safe. Walking out for the morning bread is a real pleasure whichever direction you choose. Eating breakfast on the terrace, with its amazing sea view is the perfect way to start the day. Restaurants and shops all within easy striking distance. As well as the daily food market we enjoyed the Tuesday market on the port. The trip on the Atlantide visiting the Calanques is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Dany, the housekeeper, was very helpful on our arrival and departure. Another relaxing holiday in a beautiful situation. Thank you Bernard.

Die Größe und Ausstattung ist perfekt, besonders weil 2 Badezimmer mit Dusche u Toilette vorhanden sind. Ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer und die wunderschöne teils überdachte und schattige Terrasse mit Essplatz und Liegestühlen bieten jede Menge Platz für 6 Personen. Man ist in 3 Minuten am Strand, in 10 Minuten zu Fuß im Zentrum von Bandol. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Wohnung ist wunderbar gelegen, man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten am Strand und auch zum Ortskern ist es nicht weit. Insgesamt ist es ruhig, nur der Zug fährt immer wieder mal hinter dem Haus vorbei. Die Wohnung ist groß, hat Charme und ist in gutem Zustand. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, vor allem auf der schönen Terrasse. Der Kontakt mit Bernard und Danny war super, beide sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Bel appartement avec superbe vue.

Nous avons passé deux semaines fantastiques dans cet appartement à Bandol. Ce qui frappe de prime abord c’est le paysage marin qu’on a depuis la terrasse et qui ne vous quitte plus. Il s’agit d’une double terrasse, l’une couverte et de plein pied avec la maison dans laquelle nous avons pris tous nos repas, puis par deux petites marches une deuxième terrasse fleurie et plantée dans laquelle on peut s’y reposer allongé confortablement sur des chaises longues…on a toujours une vue superbe au large ! L’intérieur est bien meublé et équipé, le salon est très confortable et la cuisine grande et bien équipée. Nous avons cuisiné quasiment comme si nous étions chez nous, c’est toujours rassurant de ne pas se trouver à court de matériel culinaire ! Situation idéale pour aller se baigner à la plage seulement en quelques minutes, pour se promener le long de la mer ou pour faire ses courses en centre ville en y allant à pied. Les "grandes courses" dans une grande surface ne sont pas très loin non plus. Accueil et disponibilité très appréciables de la personne qui nous a accueilli. On garde un très bon souvenir de ce séjour, ça donne envie d’y revenir !

location très plaisante

La vue est un émerveillement de chaque instant : de la terrasse , de la chambre , du salon. La terrasse avec la végétation permet une détente totale. Je lisais chaque après-midi avec le bruit des vagues en fond: un pur plaisir. La maison est très bien équipée ce qui permet de cuisiner un peu et donc recevoir quelques amis . Séjour très plaisant. Bon séjour à Bandol

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette location, conforme au descriptif et aux photos. C’est propre, bien équipé et bien situé pour ne pas utiliser la voiture. La procédure d’arrivée est bien gérée et flexible . Les climatiseurs dans chaque chambre et dans le salon sont bien appréciés.

Traumhafter Blick, Terrasse voll Bouganvilla, zu Fuß zum Strand und in den Ort

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auf der überdachten Terrasse mit grossem Tisch sowie mit Liegestühlen konnten wir uns nicht satt sehen an dem Ausblick aufs Meer umgeben von den blühenden Bouganvillas. Wichtig zu wisen: es gibt ein Elternschlafzimmer mit Terassenzugang und Blick aufs Meer, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten mit Fenster mit Blick aufs Meer und ein Durchgangszimmer mit dem Stockbett (für Kinder - Erwachsene können darin nicht sitzen). Relaxing family break in beautiful situation

Our second stay in Bernard’s house, this time returning with our 22 month old grandson who was able to enjoy playing and having his bath in the lovely little garden. We ate all the meals that we had at home on the spacious terrace (high chair provided) with the lovely outlook. The house provided everything that we needed and is a very comfortable base. The walk along the front is particularly beautiful early in the morning and at sunset. Mme Lesne was most helpful in accommodating our arrival and departure times. After our long journey it was lovely on arrival to sit on the shady terrace sipping a glass of Bandol rosé from the bottle provided. Thank you. Another wonderful week. Merci Bernard!

Ant infestation and Terrible Property Management

We did not enjoy this property for the 6 weeks we were here with our kids. However Bandol is a nice town, and Sanary is nearby and very pretty. Here were the issues with the property: 1) Ants - as soon as we got there we noticed a line of ants continually entering the property. Huge cracks in building so ant poison hardly helped. On top of that they tried to charge us for the ant poison saying it was upkeep of the property. They acted as if we caused the problem. This is clearly not the case considering the ants were there the first day as well as the fact that they had ant spray and other ant remedies in the cupboard. 2) construction - There is a huge construction site directly across from the property. There was very loud drilling for 3 of the 6 weeks we stayed here. We understand they might not have known about this but we asked them to look into it and after saying they would multiple times they did not. 3) The property manager showed up unannounced three times, peering inside the window trying to find us while knocking repeatedly. Very disturbing and completely unnecessary. We expected more privacy. There was a phone and email to contact us if needed. When she did set an agreed upon time to meet at the property she showed up 90 minutes later. 4) They agreed to return our deposit cheque after they completed the inspection and then did not return it. This left me no choice but to do a stop payment on the cheque leaving another cost for me. Lovely property besides the ant infestation and property management. Do not stay here. BEWARE.

Tout est parfait, la vue la proximité de la ville et surtout de la plage

.. la climatisation est très utile début Août même si la maison traditionnelle est parfaitement isolée avec de l'ombre sur la terrasse et le jardinet ... Parking sous la pinède est aussi ombragé ... les enfants ont une belle couleur abricot et ne nous ont pas laissé une minute de répit .. il y a tant de choses à faire et d'endroit à découvrir !!!

The best view in the world!

The apartment is situated at the top of a hill and thus has the most splendid view of the Bay of Bandol. Each morning as we threw open our shutters - both from the living room and the main bedroom - it took our breath away. We spent very little time in the apartment itself, which was roomy and wonderfully cool - courtesy of air conditioning! The wonderful and spacious double terraces and proximity to the beach kept us out and about all day and most of the evening. It is a little bit of a walk to the main town - probably about 10 minutes to the town square but the exercise did us all the world of good each day but the proximity to the beach (literally at the bottom of the road) was fantastic - particularly with all the beach towels and equipment for a family of 6! Having a parking space was wonderful in busy Bandol in the summer and Mme Lesne, who takes care of the apartments for the owners, was wonderfully helpful in dealing with any concerns we had. We met the lovely neighbours in one of the apartments above from Lyons who are charming. The proximity of the rail line may bother some - we were concerned on arrival and the trains are quite noisy during the day but at night, with the windows and shutters closed and the air conditioning on, we all slept very well indeed. We hope to return!

Parfait !

Cette location est vraiment très bien : grande, cosy, bien équipée, la terrasse est bordée de plantes méditerranéennes(beau bougainvillier), la vue est magnifique sur la baie ET, petit plus ,on entend la mer! (le matin et le soir depuis la chambre, c'est top !) A côté de la maison, il y a un parking privé ombragé, très pratique. La proximité de la plage à pied est très appréciable, surtout avec de jeunes enfants. (2 min à la descente et 5 min à la montée). Bandol est une belle station balnéaire, il y a un marché tous les jours dans le centre (accessible à pied en 10 min) ou avec un bus gratuit qui passe au bas de la rue (dommage, il n'y a pas bcp de rotation par jour). Le ménage est inclus dans le prix, ça fait plaisir également. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous conseillons vivement cette location !
