This Rock-N-Roll Cabin Is Quaint and Super Fun!

It seems like your stay was just fine since you stayed the entire time and used every bed linen and towel in the entire house and checked out late (without approval) The kitchen is fully intact and is just as the pictures show. I don't know why you would say there is missing cabinets. That is simply a false statement. Clearly you didn't understand the classic decorations and collectibles. The GI Joe toys are not ment to be played with, that's why the decorations are out of reach of anyone. They are a american toy that any american boy would know and probably had at some point. If you didn't know this there are the classic posters framed and hung on the wall explaining that. There is one celtic cross on the wall since my husband is Irish. The ski poster has absolutely no sexual connotation. "Johnny's Trees" is a ski run at White Pass Ski Resort that just happens to be named after my husband. We love that poster and are so proud of it. As to the kids rocking chair, I put it upstairs because that's where most people put the kids. If it is was in the way then move it. It is a "kids" chair. You can pick it up with one hand. The mattress in the bedroom on the main floor is my favorite mattress. It is specifically there because that's the mattress I personally prefer. As to the furniture, I have provided plenty of current pictures that are accurate. None of the furniture is 20 years old. If you didn't like the decor why did you rent it?

Catherine, I am very disappointed in your review and wanted to respond to you. This cabin is our own personal cabin that we love so much and have decorated it to our liking. We get excited when we get to share it with guests because it is so unique. We never advertised it as a "Family Friendly" Cabin even though it is. We advertised it as a Rock-N-Roll / G I Joe cabin. I would be very disappointed if I rented a Rock-N-Roll cabin and it didn't have some sort of odd or craziness to it. It is also advertised as a G I Joe cabin because my husband loves his classic toys and we feel it adds to the fun of staying there. The add clearly states that there is no phone or wifi provided. It also says that there is a pay phone at the Chevron Gas Station and that there is free wifi at the library, both coffee shops and the tavern. In regards to the air conditioning I am so sorry. We just bought this cabin and I did not understand the difference between central air and a/c. I know now. There were 2 fans provided in the cabin. I realize it was hot that week but there is nothing I can do about that. As for the ants I just don't know what to say because I still can't find one and I have never had anyone complain about ants or bees. I did have it sprayed recently just to make sure. Also I personally checked this house before you checked in and it was spotless. This cabin has been completely remodeled. It has new paint, new floors, new carpet, new countertop and great appliances. Also, all the sheets, comforters, towels were purchased for this home. They are all new and this home has only been rented a couple of times. Your complaint of being dirty is completely out of line. As for the hot tub, the heating element went out and I had to order it from San Diego. It clearly states in the rental agreement that we do not guarantee any of our hot tubs. The nearest parts store is 2 1/2 hours away and renters are very hard on hot tubs. We do our absolute best to make sure that things are perfect when someone checks in. Clearly this is not the cabin for you and your family.
