At the heart of Barga

Enjoyable stay in a pretty town. The house is well located and the outside space is lovely as are the views. The Wi-Fi works and the garage is a little tight and accessed from a reasonably busy road for Barga. The kitchen does not have hot water but is perfectly adequate. The beds are comfortable

Family trip to Barga

This property worked out great for our trip, close enough to the city center to walk. Having a garage space was a perk as it saved time and effort parking. Thanks so much for letting us use your family home.

Wonderful Barga!

We have just returned from two amazing weeks in Barga, staying at Lorraine and Joe's apartment. The accommodation is part of a larger building, but is spacious and set out on two floors, so feels like a house. There is a separate external entrance gate to the accommodation, through which you reach the garden and an own front door. Best things about the the property: (1) it is a stone-built, tiled floor house, which means it stays cool through the hot weather (mid 30s when we were there!) (2) huge private garden, with stunning views across the valley (3) 2 minute walk from the historic beautiful old town of Barga, 5-7 minute walk from the new town. There is a parking space/garage built into the exterior wall, we decided to avoid as we had hired a 9-seater and were not sure it would fit/could be easily manoeuvred in, but ordinarily, this would be ideal for guests (we found a free car park at the bottom of the hill). The interior is simple, vintage and clean. There is a well equipped kitchen with everything you need + a brand new washing machine (essential for a 2 week stay!). Wifi is available in the property although a little slow, but good enough to search up places to visit! If you are looking for well-located authentic Italian home to unwind and live a bit slower, then it's perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in wonderful Barga and would love to return in the future. Lorraine was a perfect host and responded very quickly to any queries we had.

Gute lage Und großer Garten

Schade das es zu der Fewo nur eine garage gibt daher musste ich um die ecke auf der Str. Parken,weil wir mit zwei autos anreisten. Sonst war alles da was man brauchte. Wir hatten auch einen angenehmen kontakt mit dem vermieter.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold i den charmerende bolig med god plads. Værtsparret var meget hjælpsomt og var hurtige til at svare. Vi nød vores aftener under vindruerne. Barga er en meget charmerende by.

Beautiful setting and gardens with lively views. Eating at the tables under the vines is a pleasure

Beautiful and lovely garden to eat out in. Garage a little small. Our car had its nose poking out but great position for barga as just along from the Fosso and gate to the town. Relaxing but upstairs got warm

Lovely rustic stay in beautiful surroundings

A charming stay. The only thing that I forgot to check before booking was that there was no wifi. However, Nadia was more than helpful and showed us where to pick it up. A large spacious house...only wish we could have spent more time in the garden...next time when it is warmer!!

Great location

The house was extremely comfortable well located and peaceful. I loved the patio, and we sat outside every day and enjoyed the beautiful view. We were there 4 weeks, and I would go back there again. We had two sets of guests, and it was a perfect setup with them having the upstairs to themselves. It would have been nice to have had an oven, and the grass needed to be cut at least every two weeks, but overall, it was the best month of my life.
