Great location in Barcelona

This apartment is ideal for a short visit to Barcelona. Close to the beach, La Rambla, and many restaurants.

Good location

We chose this property on the basis of its location. Ideal for the beach, harbour, park, Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. The property was accurately advertised. It was a little ‘tired’/in need of some TLC but overall it was cleaned to a good standard and was an excellent base for exploring Barcelona.

missed potential

Positives: -location. This is at the point that the Gothic, El Born and Barceloneta neighborhoods meet. -size -natural lighting -full size clothes washer (but no dryer) Negatives: -inadequate climate control. The bedroom receives no benefit from the unit in the living area. -cigarette smoke from restaurants directly below -TV station for FCB matches not included in cable provided (I know, get out and watch the game at a bar, right?) -upcharge for linens. I thought I misunderstood when I first saw this. Who travels with their linens? If the owner wants to recoup the cost of providing fresh linens just charge a couple extra Euros per night
