Cute apartment for 2 people, located in the neighborhood of Poble Nou, very alive district of Barcelona, near the Villa Olimpica, builded on 1992.
It is about a 10 minute walk from one of the best beaches in the city.
Apartment is situated on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator in the building.
Poble Nou is a very typical neighborhood, quiet and with many small streets yet with cozy places to eat or drink and enjoy life in Barcelona.
The apartment is located in a building where living both Spanish and tourists. It is modern, with an open kitchen and adjoining lounge.
The kitchen is completely equipped.
There is one bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower.

Best location!

This apartment was just about perfect for us. We had already spent two days sightseeing Barcelona prior to a ten day Mediterranean cruise and was looking for a quiet place close to the beach for two days after our cruise before returning to the states. This place was perfect. You do have to walk up four flights of stairs but the view from the balcony is worth it. We knew we wanted a beach day and this place is a five minute walk to the beach and every restaurant cafe supermarcet etc are steps outside the door. Apartment is lovely…best water pressure in shower ever! Our only complaint is the bed is way too small for two people. Maybe a full size. We are tall people and I had to sleep on the couch. That did not take away from our experience though as the apartment was lovely and the location perfect! We would come back!!

Super apartment

Das apartment war sehr schön eingerichtet und war mit allem ausgestattet. Man brauchte nur 5 Minuten von da aus zum Strand. Der Balkon war perfekt um die Sonne zu genießen und man hatte eine tolle Sicht.

Decent place for short stay

Bottom Line: great location - only 5min walk to the beach, but it feels like the amenities listed are more to “check the block” in order to raise the price. PROS: - Location. In a wonderful neighborhood close to bars, restaurants, beach and grocery. - air conditioning. Unit worked pretty well; never had an issue - communication response time. Unfortunately we had to contact the host x5 times, but thankfully each time we reached out she was prompt to answer. CONS: - washer. Listing a washer as an amenity is a pretty big deal because customers trust that the information is accurate. Unfortunately on our second day we had to contact the host because the appliance was taped together with clear packing tape and we could not figure out how to open it. The host was quick to send a maintenance person to show us how to open. On day 4 we had utilized every setting on the washer but clothes came out soaked wet with soap still on clothes and clearly still dirty. After contacting host multiple times, we were told we probably used too much soap however this is impossible to confirm since no maintenance personnel were sent to inspect the actual issue. Additionally there appears to be mold on the wall behind the washer. Either way - the washer did not work and we had to pay to utilize local laundry mat. - photos. The photos utilized in listing are outdated and DO NOT accurately represent the current condition of the apartment. I was honestly a little shocked to see the damages to doors and floor boards, chips on counters, and walls very dirty and marked up. Honestly looks like the pictures were taken 10 years ago. ** pro tip - if you are planning to stay more than 2 days we recommend bringing your own toilet paper, we stayed for 8 days and had to buy our own because we were given one roll with no spares. Overall: this location is ideal for short stays (no more than 3-4) but I would not stay at this location for more than seventy euro a night. Paying anything over night is completely ludicrous and I would never stay here again for this price.
