This apartment was perfect for our first visit to Prague. The location is ideal and very close to the main sites in Prague. There is a nice cafe just below the building and we happened upon a wonderful restaurant just down the street. The host was excellent in his communication and we were met at the apartment on arrival. I highly recommend this place!!!!

The property was lovely, the owner was easy to communicate with and provided local recommendations for our enjoyment. There is a cute cafe next door and an excellent restaurant a couple doors down. It was an easy walk to many of the sites, and we had easy access to local transportation when needed. It was a comfortable stay in a great location!

The apartment was lovely, good water pressure in the bathrooms. The in unit washer dryer was fantastic. There is no air-conditioning in this unit, however, with the windows open and the provided fans on it was very comfortable. The snacks that were available, along with some beer and wine at check-in was so appreciated and lovely. I would highly recommend the stay, maybe not in the heat of a summer because it is a city location so there is noise at night if you have your windows open but otherwise beautiful.

And yes-- even though the flat is on a quiet pedestrian street, and not the noisy main street with cars and trams, it is in the Old Town, so sometime a noisy person or group on the street can be heard at night, but we have found that closing the double-windows keeps things quiet, and using the fans at night to keep cool works well. Fantastic property in a location that doesn't really get much better! All for a very good price. Mark was a brilliant host. He reached out well ahead of time to see if we needed any recommendations and also to advise us of the check-in process. We arrived to a beautiful clean property with snacks and drinks left for us. Our host, Mark, was very communicative and had a representative meet us at the apartment when we arrived to show us around and give us our keys. It was a nice touch along with a few things in the refrigerator and some bread. The apartment had everything we needed and was central to everything in Prague. There was a cafe below the apartment for coffee or drinks and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It really was the ideal location. The beds were comfortable and all essentials were provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this apartment when in Prague.

Pros:The unit is very charming, spacious, and clean. Great location near the Charles bridge, with a few quaint cafes & restaurants nearby. Property owner/manager is very friendly and accommodating, who makes nice gestures to welcome guests. Cons: The building common areas need maintenance and cleaning. The unit does not have AC, so it can be a bit uncomfortable during hot weather. If you have to open windows to cool / ventilate the unit, lots of bugs, including wasps, get into the unit and also can be noisy from people passing by / loitering on the street at night.

Thanks for the honest review, and we're glad that overall you enjoyed your stay. It's true that the unit does not have A/C, but the fans in each of the rooms really help to keep things cool even during the big heat waves. And as to bugs, that is very much a rarity in Prague, which is why almost none of the windows and doors here have screens, but sorry to hear if you were bothered with that. As to the outside noise, it unfortunately takes only a few loudmouths on the street to disturb the buildings in the area, and that is part of the joy as well as the hassle of staying in the Old Town, but with the double-windows closed (and using the fans if it's warm weather), most of the sound is kept to a minimum. But sorry to hear you were disturbed. In any case, take care!
