Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is comfortable and well laid out and has all the amenities you could expect. The roads around the area are typical country roads and drivers need to be a bit brave but the stay was well worth the narrow misses justvto enjoy the peace and quiet Netherbury offers. The owner was available and friendly throughout our time there.
A splendid and restful week in a beautiful part of the country. Amanda was a very friendly and helpful host when needed. We had great weather so the beaches were our main draw, Hive beach at Burton Bradstock was our favourite, we enjoyed Bridport particularly the Olive Tree restaurant. The drive to Abbottsbury was beautiful when we took the opportunity to visit the Tropical Gardens, beautiful plants and has a very good (and popular) cafe. Overall a really enjoyable and restful stay.
The cottage is in a beautiful, rural location but within quick access of Bridport and the coast. It was a good base to explore along the coastline and inland.
The property had everything we needed, was comfortable and very clean. The owners are nearby and very responsive if we needed anything.
Thank you for a good stay!
Very peaceful and quiet property well away from the bustle of modern life. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Gardens on the property were lovely. Only a very short walk down a public footpath to a local pub that did good food and had outdoor seating in the garden with lovely views. Host Mandi was helpful and welcoming. Close to market town of Bridport and seaside at Recommend to anyone needed to get away from it all.
As a family of three, plus our four legged friend, we really loved staying in this delightful cottage in rural Dorset. Equipped with everything you could possibly need, and more - including lots of great games, puzzles, books, blue-tooth speaker, etc. The view from the kitchen is stunning and we loved all the Christmas decorations and fairy lights. Cosy and characterful this was the perfect place to base ourselves over the Christmas break. For getting out and about - there are some nice country walks nearby plus a great pub just a short stroll away. Further afield - Beaminster, Bridport and some spectacular beaches are a short drive away. Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Mandi and Jamie, for a super stay - we'd love to return!
Delightful stone cottage with pretty cottage garden surrounded by glorious countryside.
The cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. Located at the end of a track, we were greeted by a row of cottages, mostly hidden by beautifully cared for cottage garden. A lawned area with a tree seat and bench which we used for a picnic and there is a further small but private garden in front of our cottage, with pink roses climbing over the front cottage window.
Lounge area was comfortable and characterful. The large kitchen-diner was well equipped with a panoramic view across the fields, countryside and open sky. A vase of flowers, freshly picked from the from the cottage garden was beautifully arranged. The toilet off the kitchen also had a view that one could easily have mistaken for a framed picture.
Upstairs the bathroom had a shower that was easy to use, and a beautiful copper Moroccan sink, again there was a beautiful view.
My daughter found the bed in the rear bedroom very comfortable. Our bedroom was at the front of the cottage, full of character with views across the gardens and the bed was also very comfortable.
The local pub is just a few minutes walk from the cottage which had wonderful views of the countryside. The beach at Bridport was a short car journey away, as were a number of supermarkets.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and Mandie and Jamie were very welcoming.
We look forward to returning to this delightful cottage.
This was a lovely property, all the amendities that you require were there and the views were breathtaking. Could not fault the property and will definitely return. My only improvement would be that the cottage is up a narrow lane and 'blink' and you would miss it so that should go in the instructions but otherwise a 'good find'. Location only got 4 stars as the Pub nearby was in the middle of being taken over so was not up to scratch, but the property and views would have got 5 stars

We absolutely loved our all too brief stay in this beautiful, cosy cottage with gorgeous gardens. A real home from home with the owner Mandy on hand if needed. The local walks were lovely & we explored nearby Charmouth & Westbay. Fantastic local pub in very short walking distance with a great atmosphere & lovely food. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend

Well equipped traditional cottage in a great location.
We enjoyed a lovely weekend stay. Upon arrival Amanda was very welcoming and the cottage was really well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing with access to footpaths. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the local pub along with having the cider farm just down the road. We would happily recommend this cottage to our friends and hope to return in the future.

Perfect in every way!
Lovely cottage in wonderful rural area. Everything you could think of is provided - and very tastefully furnished - love all the quirky bits and pieces! Stayed over New Year and it was lovely have the Christmas touches in the cottage and the lights in the garden were magical. Mandi the host is fab - really friendly and helpful without being ‘in your face’. Thank you Mandi - we will definitely return once again - one of our favourite places to stay!

Nice cottage ... lovely location
It was all lovely apart from the second bedroom which was snug and no storage areas ... it was also very hot in there with boiler/shower noise coming from the airing cupboard
