cottage in the heart of the Bastide Country

The cottage of Bousserand farm is a Perigord house, completely restored with traditional materials (stone and beams), following a farmhouse of the XVI century.
A large park makes this home a perfect place to spend holidays under the sign of authenticity and tranquility.
Halfway between Bergerac and Sarlat, discover the caves of Lascaux, Maxange, .... Tourtoirac, the castles of Biron, Lanquais, Castelnaud, Beynac, Milandes ... the international center of prehistory Eyzies, the country houses Monpazier, Beaumont, Lalinde, Eymet ... and vineyards of Pécharmant, Bergerac and Monbazillac.
You can also swim and enjoy water games ponds of Bos, the Pont de Vicq ......
I recommend a canoe kayak descent on the Dordogne to discover the most beautiful castles of the Dordogne.
At the many gourmet markets, you can also enjoy the renowned gastronomic specialties of Périgord (foie gras, porcini mushrooms, truffles, walnuts, wines ...).
The cottage can accommodate up to 7 people.

We enjoyed our six days here even more than we had hoped. It’s a stunning location - better than the photos. It’s peaceful and rural, with beautiful views from the pool. We spent much of our of time in the pool and enjoying meals under the shade of the trees, but also enjoyed swimming in the nearby Dordogne, coffees in Lalinde square and the exploring Thursday market.WiFi was good, kitchen well equipped and we had a great view of the solar eclipse from near the house! Thank you Dominique. We plan to return.

Un hote très sympatique et discret dans un lieu très beau et calme! La piscine impéccable, il manquait quelques accessoires de cuisine , un seul rouleau de papier hygiénique quand on arrive à sept personnes, pas de savon, pas de sopalain des détails mais obligeant à aller faire les courses en arrivant. Ce serait parfait si ces petits détails étaient inclus à l’avenir. Il faudrait indiquer aussi dans l'annonce qu'il n'y a pas de draps ni serviette, le prix de leur location. Merci pour le reste!!

Top

Très belle maison en pierre. Les chambres sont top, surtt celle des enfants qui est très bien décoré. L'environnement est calme et beau. Le propriétaire est sympa donc rien a redire sur l'ensemble de notre séjour. Le seul petit bémol a émettre, c'est l'eau chaude qui est très longue a venir.
