*****Villa Mariana is a large 5 bedroom property near Mojacar in Southern Spain. All bedrooms have their own shower room. Sleeping up to 14 + cot and Z-bed. It is extremely versatile for family groups or friends. It has 3 good sized lounges and two kitchens and the bedrooms are spacious too. This means that you can be close together or have your own space for a bit of peace if you wish.
It is set in a huge fenced and walled garden of 13,500 square metres so there is a lot of space ro feel freedom from any neighbours.
With a large 18m swimming pool with pool toys and its private all weather tennis court there is a lot on site to keep everyone happy.
Plus a games room with its own pool table, bar and fridge. There is a roof terrace where on a clear day you can see the sea in the distance.
There is also a table tennis table and a skittles area plus petanq lane. Lots of facilities to suit all tastes.
It can be booked throughout the year as one large property and between October and April it can be split in half giving two smaller properties for rental.

Villa holiday in Turre

Enjoyed our stay. Pool was good size and several of our party used the tennis court. Comfortable beds. Good restaurants in local towns with reasonable prices. Old town worth a visit - great views. Marion was very helpful whenever we needed her and very quick to put anything right.

Lugar estupendo para reuniones familiares

El alojamiento está muy bien. Hay aire acondicionado en los 5 dormitorios (que funciona perfectamente), dos cocinas bien equipadas (buenos frigoríficos) y las instalaciones deportivas (pista de tenis, billar, ping-pong y piscina) de 10. Los dueños acuden inmediatamente ante cualquier eventualidad, lo que se agradece mucho. Lo malo: los dueños debieran invertir algo de dinero en renovar el mobiliario de la piscina (las hamacas están ya muy gastadas por el sol, y los chambaos de la piscina necesitan también ser renovados, ya que no dan sensación de estar limpios por lo desgastados que están). La limpieza del menaje de cocina también es cuestionable (tuvimos que pasarlo todo por el labavajillas antes de usarlos), y una de las campanas extractoras hay que limpiarla bien. En fin, estancia agradable, dueños encantadores, y con un poco que hagan tiene un lugar simplemente perfecto. Agradecidos con los dueños.

Falta de limpieza

Las instalaciones son muy buenas pero necesitan de una renovación y quedan muy deslucidas por la falta de limpieza a nivel general y fundamentalmente en la cocina, el menaje, mantelería, etc. algo especialmente delicado en los tiempos que corren. La casa no ofrecía la seguridad de haber sido desinfectada y tenía un exceso de objetos, como por ejemplo cojines, que pueden ser potenciales focos de contagio, cuando las recomendaciones sanitarias actualmente son tener los espacios totalmente despejados de este tipo de objetos. Otro aspecto negativo a destacar es que el propietario no se hace cargo de la gestión de la basura, por lo que los arrendatarios tenemos que cargarla en nuestros coches y llevarla a los contenedores de los pueblos cercanos. Ese servicio, dado el alto coste del alquiler, debería ser prestado por los propietarios.

La casa es amplia y muy cómoda si se coge completa para un grupo. Piscina grande, con zona infantil, patio grande con toldo para comer al lado de la barbacoa, mesa de billar para la noche. Bonita galería para estar y leer por las tardes. A 10 minutos de la playa de Mojácar y Garruchas, así como de la zona de restaurantes del paseo marítimo. Aparcamiento amplio para los coches. Fuera del casco urbano junto a otros dos alojamientos rurales y la vivienda de los propietarios, pero con suficiente distancia e independencia. Pista de acceso que necesita navegador para entrar la primera vez. Aire acondicionado individual en todas las habitaciones

Great place for family and friends

We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay at Villa Mariana. There was 14 of us in total - 7 adults and 7 kids. The villa was huge - plenty of space for people to have their own time if needs be and the bonus of having 2 kitchens when cooking for 14 people was great. The pool table was a god send. So when the kids were too hot and wanted to go indoors, they loved this. As did the competitive adults in the night time! We even managed to source another cue tip for one of the pool cues from a snooker club in Mojácar which made this even better. The pool is fantastic. So well thought out and deceptively deep too but shallow enough spaces for the younger kids - including a little paddling pool section for very small children. The pool toy box was an added bonus with some inflatables and toys already supplied. The terrace eating area was fantastic to seat all of us and the barbecue was used on many occasions. The view from the roof terrace is stunning. The location is great. Easy to access from the motorway. Close enough to walk into Turre if you fancied an evening out without driving. The water park Aquavera was about 15 mins drive away and was loved by all, As was the mini golf in Mojácar. Mojácar is about a 15 minute drive but has great supermarkets, fantastic beach bars and restaurants so this villa’s location is perfect. Although we didn’t feel the need to leave the villa that much as it had everything that we needed. The tennis court was used on the odd occasion by us but it was too hot but thank god for the air con in the bedrooms - another god send! The only criticism I have - and it’s super small - is that it lacked a dishwasher. This would have made this place perfect. Washing and drying up for 14 people, 3 times a day, became a daily chore and created bickering but that’s to be expected with 14 people. Marian was great - on hand to answer any questions and help us out whenever we needed. Couldn’t ask for a better host. We had a great holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Just need to save up now!

Family holiday 2019

12 of us really enjoyed the Villa. Very spacious both inside and out. Teenagers enjoyed tennis and pool table. (bring Q tips and chalk) Nice outside area for meals. Large pool. 20 minute walk to Turre. Good supermarket and a few bars and restuarants - good value for good food. Go-karting about 4 miles up the road was great value and fun. 25 euro for a 6 seater mini bus to a really nice beach. Weather 30 degrees and sunny all week. Challenging cycle routes in the area.

Villa Mariana is a very beautiful place to spend your vacations. The owner Marion is always very helpful. All qestions were answered quick, all special wishes fulfilled. Views on the Sierra Cabrera are stunning and the euipment is excellent.

The villa has great facilities with a lovely garden to relax in and a games room with pool table to keep all the family happy. The outdoor tennis court is good and the swimming pool is a great size. Good easy access to local facilities and lots of beeches and restaurants within close proximity and easy to get too. Will be going back for sure.

Great villa and Facilities

I stayed in Villa Mariana with friends and family and found the Villa and facilities amazing.The area of Mojacar is magical with great beaches and beautiful scenery. There is more than enough space for everyone so always had privacy when needed.The Pool is huge and completely walled. The rooms are all very comfortable with air con and fans. Loved the tennis court and games room with its pool table. We hired some bicycles from the local shop as this area is very good for cyclists. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.Thank you very much for letting us use your Villa we all had a fantastic much needed break

In 2002 Marion and Ivan decided to leave the time pressured hustle of business life in the UK to explore another lifestyle in the quieter, slower pace of unspoiled southern Spain. Never really holidayed or visited Spain previously it was all an adventure. It had sun, sea and tradition. We decided on a part of Spain where you didn’t even need to have central heating in the winter as it has its own micro-climate with less than 10 days of rain a year. Our dream evolved on finding a wonderful property to develop into a fabulous holiday rental destination, close to amenities but far enough away to retain the peace and quiet to relax and enjoy some of the delights that Turre, Garrucha and Mojacar, in southern Spain, has to offer.
Villa Mariana was created in 2006 to offer all year round comfort in the knowledge that guests come back again and again to enjoy just a little bit extra in holiday accommodation.

It is far away from the crowds to be peaceful and close enough to be just 10 minutes away from beaches and night life. Suitable for all ages.
