Relax on the front porch with friends and family while enjoying the gentle breeze off the Atlantic Ocean. Or sunbathe on our new second floor deck overlooking the vast expanse of sky and ocean. This beach house was made for families with upstairs and downstairs living rooms, plus deck and screened porch with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves.

This spacious family beach house was just renovated in 2012. All new appliances, granite counter tops in the kitchen, new bathrooms and a huge new second floor deck with views 'to die for!' Ocean Dream is located at 3002 Palm Blvd. on the front beach of the Isle of Palms. Lots of sun, sand, wind, and water. Perfect for beachcombers, turtle watchers, kite flyers, and sand castle builders of all ages. No more lugging beach paraphernalia across busy streets and hot sand to get to the ocean. Gorgeous water views from a long screened-in porch, upstairs living room, and two of the six bedrooms. RV hookup for single RV, 50 amp, water and sewer. EV charger.

Screened porch, two king-size bedrooms, two twin bedrooms, one queen, and one bedroom with two double-size beds. Satellite TV upstairs and down with 3 TVs. Gas grill under house with picnic tables. One hundred yards to white-sand beaches. Plenty of room for entertaining friends and family. Ample living space on both floors. Two outdoor showers under the house.

The best location

We had the best time, and could not ask for a better location! You can't beat beach front! It is also near the grocery store if you need anything. The house was spacious and can fit a large family. The hosts were also very responsive, thank you!

Pleasant Family Stay at Ocean Front 6 Bedwooms

We enjoyed our stay the week after Christmas 2023. We appreciated the thoughtfulness with which the host had anticipated many of the needs which made our stay pleasant. The house was very clean and had an exceptionally well-equipped kitchen with plenty of quality pots and pans, silverware, dishes, cups, glasses, and appliances. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was attractive and of high quality. Parking was more than adequate for our 3 cars. Unfortunately, heavy rains and flooding made it difficult to get to the beach while we were there but the views and sounds of the nearby ocean were terrific. This is an exceptional property and we highly recommend it.

Super place to stay

We spent Wednesday through Sunday at this property for my college reunion weekend. We had our son and his family and my daughter and her family. Included a 3.5 year old grandson and an 8 month old granddaughter. The house was a great size for our crowd and could have easily accommodated more. Everything in the house was very clean and comfortable. All appliances and utilities worked well and were up to date. Cooking utensils, silverware, plates, serving pieces, glassware and cocktail glasses and wine glasses were all very nice. It felt like we were at home. Stanley was very easy to work with via email and attended to a couple of special requests very quickly. I recommend this property highly.

Great experience

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was just as described, spacious, clean and comfortable. The two-level design gives some nice separation. We were nine people and had plenty of room. We gravitated to the deck on the upper level, with its amazing views overlooking the ocean. The beach is right there. Even in mid-October, the ocean is fine for swimming and the beach is a great walk in either direction. Another plus is the proximity of the grocery store and restaurants, a few minutes away--walkable, in fact, if you're so inclined. The property manager offered timely and accurate communication, and instructions for the stay were complete and clear. Some previous reviews mentioned construction on the property next door. As of mid-October, this seemed to be largely complete.

Fantastic Beach House!!

I'd be delighted to write you a positive review for your home rental in Isle of Palms, South Carolina! My recent stay at your rental property in Isle of Palms was an absolute delight. The home was well-appointed, beautifully decorated, and meticulously clean. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home. The attention to detail was exceptional, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The only negative was the house next door was doing some construction and it was noisy on the back patio two days. I hope they finish soon! Other than that, the location of the property is simply perfect. Just a short walk to the beautiful, clean, soft sandy beach. We loved exploring the local area, with its charming shops, excellent restaurants, and friendly locals. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation destination. Thank you!

Excellent in Every Respect

My wife and I, our daughters and their husbands and our grandchildren (totalling eleven of us) have spent a summer week in this home for the past six years and are returning again next year. That alone should tell you a lot about how much we have enjoyed our time vacationing in this home. The house fits us perfectly in terms of space and accomodations and is very well furnished and maintained. The kitchen is especially well furnished with appliances, utensils, flatware and kitchen tools that far exceed what we have found in most rental homes and condominiums. The owners clearly care about the condition of this home and are making every effort to ensure that it remains in tip-top condition. Vacationers will be hard pressed to find a rental home as well maintained and furnished. Finally, the location is near perfect with an uncrowded beach area and easy access to the bridge to Mount Pleasant and the very extensive “Town Center” shopping area and many excellent restaurants.

Great house and great location

We stayed on IOP during the July 4th week. The house was very well appointed and the labeling in the kitchen and on the light switches was very helpful. We loved the screened porch and fit all of our family around the big table out there for meals. The kids especially loved the sun deck upstairs and we were frequently up there at night admiring the stars and moon rising. The ground level had a ton of space and was very clean. Both outdoor showers got used frequently and the ceilings were high enough for some competitive games of cornhole under the house. The backyard is very private and immense - 110 paces to the sand. The multiple ice makers were a nice touch as is the 2nd refrigerator upstairs. The only thing to even negatively comment on is that the master BR only has a double sized bed in it, although there are kings in 2 of the other BR's. We would gladly rent this house again.

We had a wonderful ladies weekend at Isle of Palms! The house was exactly as pictured & very comfortably accommodated our large group. July 4th Week Family Vacation

The property was as advertised. They have made the most out of all the space in the house. We loved the screened porch. All meals and family game night was on the screened porch. Perfect location on the beach and great back yard. Kitchen is a little tight with not a lot of cabinet space for groceries. Very clean and comfortable.

Charleston Open Trip

We have been coming to the Charleston Open Tennis tournament for quite a few years and love staying on Isle of Palms. This was our second time staying in this house and we have already booked it for next year! Stanley is the most responsive host I have ever experienced! There was an air conditioning issue and she had folks out rapidly to address it. Plus the location just can't be beat!

About the host

My mother and father walked the beach on the Isle of Palms when my father was on leave from the European theater in WWII. They found the prettiest spot on the island and marked in with a giant X in the sand. Then they went directly to the Beach Company and bought it...I think they paid $5,000 for it which was an enormous sum at the time. After the war they built what came to be known as a "J.C. Long House." It was a small cinder block house--3 bedrooms, 1 bath, side porch but it suited our young family just fine.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family since the 1040's. If you've a mind, you can read all about the history of the house in a small volume I wrote entitled, THE ISLAND THEN AND NOW. Amazon has it or you can read the house copy when you arrive.

What makes this property unique

Spectacular location, views and amenities. Upstairs and downstairs living rooms, wonderful screened porch and upper deck. Plenty of room to spread out for a multi-generational group.

Just added a new bathroom this year and a boardwalk over the dunes for easy access to the beach.
