Gorgeous Beachfront Studio in Playa Azul I

Gorgeous apartment located on an upper floor of Playa Azul I, a 22-story beachfront condominium located in sunny Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Featuring an 18-foot wall of louvered glass spanning its width, our spacious 523 square foot studio frames a stunning panoramic view of the Atlantic and is cooled by refreshing ocean breezes.

The apartment is smoke-free and impeccably maintained. With a complete renovation done in Fall 2014, the studio features high-quality appliances (including washer and dryer), furniture, and fixtures. Mostly recently, new 9-inch futon mattresses, comfy memory foam toppers, and high-quality bed linens were purchased in May 2019.

If you are traveling with friends and/or extended family and need more than one booking, we also own and rent the neighboring studio (listing #204353).

Playa Azul is a gated complex that is steps away from beautiful Playa Azul beach. Inside the complex you will find tennis and basketball courts, two pools (including a toddlers pool), play equipment for kids, and a clubhouse. A grocery store, drug store, gas station, bank ATM, and several restaurants are all within walking distance.

The condominium's location in Luquillo is ideal for exploring the Eastern part of Puerto Rico. The El Yunque National rainforest is just a few minutes West on Route 3, and Fajardo, with its bioluminescent bay and ferries to the islands Culebra and Vieques, is a few miles East. Shopping in old San Juan and at the outlets is a modest 20–40 minutes drive. Several championship golf courses are located at nearby resorts within 10 miles.

Beautiful view, beach and more

Love this location as rent a car and most things want to see or do are close by. Or just lie on the beach, cook your own food from nearby grocery store and relax. Beach towels, chairs, and washer and dryer make it all very easy.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay! Sandra was kind and responsive. Everything you need for the direct beach access is provided. Kitchen is well stocked and there is good water pressure. The view is breathtaking. Beautiful place

Beautiful view

The studio was absolutely beautiful, everything you need is there. Sandra the host was great, she keeps you informed on what you need to know, made the trip very easy. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the view from the front door you good see the rain forest. The studio is well maintained and very clean

Amazing Views

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was at the perfect location which gave us easy access to El Yunque and Fajardo where we had planned several activities. There were a lot of places to eat nearby and there was even a super market across the highway were we picked up some supplies. It was very easy to get to the apartment from the airport . There was a wonderful breeze every night which made it very easy to fall asleep along with the sound of the waves crashing against the shore . The apartment was very clean and comfortable. You can tell the owners take pride in their place . We look forward to staying there again in the future . Thank you , Roberto and Elizabeth

PERFECT! in every way

I "rented" this apartment for five months through the late spring - summer of 2021, and every day was a dream. The property owners Sandra and Vasilios are super kind and checked in to make sure everything was ok throughout my time here. The apartment is clean and bright and surprisingly quiet for an apartment complex. Though it is a studio, the wall of windows makes the space feel massive, there is tons of storage space, and the outdoor balcony area is much larger than it looks in pictures, giving you a lot more space there as well. The view is unreal, unlike any apartment I've ever rented before, and just stunning every hour of the day. Cannot recommend this apartment (or Sandra's and Vasilios's other property right nextdoor) highly enough; already looking forward to my next stay here.

Sandra was an attentive host from the beginning. She was quick to respond to questions and very pleasant to communicate with. The condo was clean and welcoming. Clean and cozy

We came here for the second half of our honeymoon. We liked that it had a well working washer/dryer. The full bed wasn't very comfortable, but it didn't impede our sleep. The kitchen was stocked with high quality utensils for whatever you may need for basic cooking. The beach was pretty nice and easy to access. The best part was the balcony and eating meals out there on the little table. During the day we were able to have the windows open and feel the AMAZING BREEZE! The worst part was that at night, the amazing windows had to be closed while the lights were on (so no more ocean breeze inside) because the bugs would swarm in to fly by the lights. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would easily return and rent this place again!!!!

Wonderful with unbelievable views

This is a beautiful place and the condo has everything you could need. Sandra is great to work with and your close to everything. We enjoyed the studio and the complex!
