Superb villa with panoramic view of Saint-Julien and Mont Ventoux

Come and enjoy our superb and luxurious Provencal villa with a large infinity pool, enjoying (like the whole villa) a panoramic view of Mont Ventoux and Saint-Julien. You will have the impression of swimming in the mountains! The house is large (about 300 m²), with a large living room with open fire, a TV lounge (with DVD player), a new super-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the others with double beds ) and four bathrooms (two bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom). Internet connection is available. The house is surrounded by large terraces, all with superb views. Next to the kitchen, a covered terrace with a large table for 10 people allows you to eat in the shade, taking advantage of the barbecue area. Next to the pool, a large terrace with sun loungers and parasols, and a poolhouse containing inflatable pool toys. The villa was completely renovated in 2012.
The surroundings are beautiful, and the village is 1 km (5 minutes on foot), with bakery, many mini markets, a Super U, a bank, a tourist office, a petrol pump, a cinema and many restaurants. . The landscape of the Baronnies invites you to walk between olive trees and lavender, but you can also cycle (electric bikes for hire in the village), especially on Mont Ventoux very popular with cyclists, or take a hike with your feet in the water (Toulourenc gorges), horse riding (riding school in the village) or playing tennis (tennis courts in the village). Boxwood is also known for its Via Ferrata and its many climbing possibilities. There are two markets a week in the village, including a colorful and fragrant Provencal market !. A 15-minute drive from Buis is the town of Vaison la Romaine, known for its archaeological sites, its very pretty old town and its cultural activities (theater, music, etc.). Nyons is a 20-minute drive away, and you will find fantastic tree climbing courses for children as well as a water park with slides and swimming pools. The region is a real treat for young and old!

Idyllic

This is a superb place to stay. It is quiet, has spectacular views, is near some magical villages and is ideally situated for some of the best cycling terrain in the world. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in lovely surroundings

We had a fantastic week in this nice house. The situation is ideal, very private, but still just a 10 minutes walk to the village with restaurants, shops, and market. The house was big, with private spaces for everyone, kitchen very well equipped, and a nice outdoor dining and relaxing area. The pool was splendid. The internet was a bit unstable, but the owner was very responsive trying to solve the issue. An extra fridge would be a nice addition, as well as a bit tidying up outside. But all in all, we would gladly come back another time.

Fabulous escape

We stayed for week in this amazing home. The views, the pool and the terraces are superb. We had plenty of space for two families with adult children and teenagers. The kitchen is well equipped. We had to bring our own linen which we hadn’t done at similar properties but this was on the listing and the home was so lovely that it worth the small inconvenience. Communication with the owner was good and he responded quickly to organise a small issue with the WiFi. The town is a short walk with plenty of restaurants and the market was lovely. We

Eigentlich traumhafte Lage, deswegen Objekt gebucht ; leider gab es statt des inserierten Infinity Pools nur einen ganz normalen notdürftig gereinigten Pool, der das Schwimmen aufgrund der logischerweise ungereinigten Wasseroberfläche wegen des fehlenden Überlaufs zum Horror gemacht hat.Ein paar willkürlich zusammengestellte Sonnenschirm Halterungen, bei der keine einzige zu einem Sonnenschirm gepasst hat, machten auch das Sonnenbaden zu einem Abenteuer. Der gesamte Poolbereich war verschmutzt und ganz sicher schon ewig nicht mehr gereinigt worden.Das Haus selbst war ziemlich sauber, alles halt schon etwas älter, teilweise mit Klebeband reparierte Türen.Leider hat der Vermieter trotz mehrfacher Bitte es nicht geschafft, den Überlauf des Pools reparieren und so die versprochene Infinityfunktion aktivieren zu lassen. Zu unserem Ärger wurde lediglich völlig überraschend am letzten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes plötzlich während unserer Kommunikation eine Reparatur durchgeführt.Hinweis: da bei fehlender Überlauffunktion eine Reinigung über ein separates Notsystem durchgeführt ist, dies abwende durch eine einzige Ansaugdüse im Einstiegsbereich bewältigt wird, ist es ratsam dieser Düse nicht zu nahe zu kommen, da der extrem starke Sog ohne weiteres eine Kinderhand ansaugen könnte.Alles in allem extrem schade, weil wir uns sehr vor allem auf den Pool gefreut hatten.Auch dass der Vermieter die Tatsache des Defektes einfach schöngeredet oder totgeschwiegen hat, ist ärgerlich.

The guest contacted us about malfunctioning parasols. The parasols had apparently been broken by previous guests. New parasols were delivered the next day. The guest complained that the pool was dirty. We contacted him immediately by phone to inform him that we had instructed the maintenance company to urgently check the situation. The maintenance company came the next day, confirming that the pool looked normal and clean. The guest, however, complained that there was dirt on the bottom of the pool and that, in his opinion, the cleaning was inadequate. We replied that the pool is cleaned once a week, on Fridays. Some dirt at the very bottom of the pool (2.5 meters deep) is inescapable. From the nature around our house, some dirt always blows in; sand sometimes fly from the Sahara to the South of France and, as a result, there is a little bit of sand at the bottom of the swimming pools. In the last 12 years, no guest has ever complained that the pool was not clean enough. Importantly, a little sand at the corners of the bottom of the pool does not affect the water quality or swimming experience. The guest also complained that the overflow did not work. This was fixed within a few days. This caused little inconvenience to the guest. The complaints are in our view nothing else than strategy to try to get a discount. He is now claiming a refund and threatening us with lawyers and legal action.

Villa buis les barronies

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine avec nos amis dans cette villa spacieuse. La piscine est top. La vue sur le Mont Ventoux est exceptionnelle. Le village reprend tous les commerces nécessaires et une bonne animation. Les chambres aux étages sont très chaudes car pas de climatisation (bien repris sur le site). Le débit d’eau aux étages est très faible si les personnes prennent la douche au rez de chaussée. Un deuxième frigo serait un plus vu les chaleurs et le nombre de personnes.

Prachtige locatie, fantastisch uitzicht, ruim huis met alle benodigde faciliteiten. Klein probleem met het koffiezetapparaat werd meteen opgelost en ook een probleem met de verwarming ( het was op dat moment een graad of 15 in huis) werd nog dezelfde dag opgelost. Super dus! Beslist een aanrader!!

séjour parfait dans une magnifique région

Rien est galvaudé dans la description. La maison est vraiment parfaitement située par rapport au village et ce serait difficile d'imaginer une plus belle vue dans les environs. La maison, et en particulier la cuisine, est très bien équipée. La maison est très spacieuse et même en étant nombreux, il y a un petit coin pour chacun. Si l'on veut vraiment pointer les seules choses qui nous ont manqué: un barbecue un petit peu plus vaillant, des planches à découper ou encore une sono pour la musique; Mais on a survécu sans ça! A noter aussi le très bon accueil de la personne en charge de faire l'état des lieux.
