Neap Tide is a spacious, tastefully furnished apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms situated on the West side of Looe with its own parking and just a few minutes walk from Looe Harbour, old town, restaurants and beaches.
Overlooking the ancient woodland of Kilminorth Woods and the West Looe River, this apartment has everything you need for your stay in Cornwall. It is situated just half an hour from Plymouth. Fowey, Charlestown (famous from Poldark) and Eden Project are just 45 minutes away.
There is a slope and 36 steps from the parking area to the property. There are hand rails to assist during the climb. There are further steps to take you up to the road the property is situated on. These steps allow easy access to the road leading into town. You could easily access the apartment by these steps from the road above should you not want to climb up.
The apartment has wi-fi and interactive TV. It is stylishly furnished with 3 x 2 seater leather settees and has an open plan with an oak dining table that seats 6.
There is a washing machine and airer, fridge/freezer, microwave and an oven with ceramic hob. It is well fitted with crockery, cutlery etc.
Master bedroom (Bed 1) has a King size bed and a wardrobe and chest of drawers. It also has an ensuite. Bed 2 has hanging space and 2 full size twin beds and chest of drawers. Bed 3 has 2 full size twin beds, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. All have bedside lamps.
The property has laminate floors and fenced patio garden (but it is not gated).
The bathroom and ensuite have showers over the baths. A travel cot is supplied. (Situated under the bed in bedroom 2)
All duvets, pillows, linen, towels, tea towels (but not beach towels) are supplied.
It has gas central heating.
A toy box with bucket and spades etc. is situated near the bench outside.
Check in time - 5pm on the day of arrival. Check out time - 10.00 am - this is to allow adequate time for the housekeeping team to clean appropriately.

Lovely, light and airy apartment in a quiet, private location, a short walk from the main public car park. The parking space is down a steep, narrow lane, and there is a steep slope and 30 steps from it up to the apartment. However, I managed it with an injured knee, and it is worth the climb!

Relaxing stay
Had a lovely week at Neap Tide, owners made our stay very comfortable it was like a home from home. Everything has been thought of to make your holiday relaxing from the minute you walk through the door. Just a short pleasant walk into Looe, highly recommend Daisy's cafe for a proper cooked breakfast. I would recommend this accommodation and I would stay here again if we were looking to stay in Looe again

The property was well sized, clean and well furnished. Although access to the property might be difficult for less abled people there were no concerns for us. The location was excellent for getting into the centre of Looe.
Would return again in the future.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay but parking was an issue as couldn’t see which was our spot and the places tight.
Everything we needed for our stay was in the property.very close to walk into looe which was great.steps up to the property would be difficult if you have any mobility issues as quite steep

The issues you’ve raised are very valid and thank you for highlighting them.
Firstly about the parking- although there are markings on the wall and the ground, people do tend to miss these. We are working to make visibility easier even in the dark
Secondly about the steps- I think it does clarify that on the website but I will make sure it is there. Also, it is possible to drop off someone at the top and it is then easier to walk down one flight of stairs to the flat

Apartment was clean and comfortable. Two baths were perfect. No car needed for any activity in Looe. Location was perfect to do trips further down to Cornwall (e.g. Fowey or Truro) as well as Dartmoor visits. Communication with landlady was always very polite, helpful and with quick responses.
We would come again to Looe.

My family, 4 kids and dog had a great stay in neap tide, it was a good size to accomodate us all and lovely views out onto the trees and river. It had all the things one would need to enjoy time away from home and feel comfortable. The hosts were also very prompt to communicate with us. There are stairs to go to the property, but we expect that in coastal villages along the Cornish coast, so to be mindful if you have mobility issues. It's also a great location to walk into town and pick up provisions.

The property was totally as described, very spacious, well furnished and comfortable. It's perfectly placed for an easy 5min stroll into the beautiful centre of Looe. The outside space was lovely. Coffee at the table in the morning was so peaceful and the smell from the honeysuckle of an evening was amazing! As per the previous review, access to Netflix and/or similar would be a fantastic addition for any rainy evenings, or just a chilled night in after a long beach day. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This property was great for our family and Arundhati was amazing to correspond with. Any question I had, Arundhati would respond immediately - thank you so much.
The location was great, just a quick walk into town. The rooms were comfortable and it felt homey. The private parking was great, a bit tight for our large van but in a convenient location.
My only hiccup was I really needed a dryer for our laundry. On the listing it shows the symbol for a washer/dryer, but if you clicked on the "details" (which I neglected to do, I'll admit) but it was referring to a hair dryer.

We stayed for a week in the holiday apartment to explore Cornwall. The flat is beneath the road from West Looe to Polperro. Besides the good location of the flat, its greatest benefit is the own parking space on a narrow road beneath the house. The steps from the parking space to the flat were no problem for us. The flat is quiet, well equipped and clean. The moisture problem described was clearly noticeable in the bedrooms. The contact to Arundhati was quick, easy and very kind. We would choose the flat again for our next stay in Looe.

Mostly very satisfied with the property-super clean well furnished property great location. Slight downsides were the access to the property from the car park comprised a very steep slope then two sets of steps. Tough when moving in and out with cases etc. Secondly, car parking is along an unmade track and under trees. Lots of birds in the trees, lots of mess on my car.

Parking with properties in Looe is at a premium but sadly the surrounding woodland often means a trip to the car wash at the end of a stay.

Why they chose this property
Neap Tide is an ideal property with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, fully equipped and stylishly furnished.
It is situated in a quiet location, but is a few minutes walk into town with the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants.
It has the benefit of private allocated parking and has a lovely garden where you can enjoy overlooking the ancient Kilminorth forest and the West Looe River.
You are also in a wonderful part of Cornwall with many beaches and places of interest within a few miles drive.
One well behaved pet may be permitted (subject to conditions). They must not be left unattended in the property at any point. Please inform me prior to confirming your booking you have a pet as there will be a £25 surcharge due to increased cleaning charges.
What makes this property unique
The location of Neap Tide - River View Apartments is around a 10 minute walk into Looe for the town, harbour, beach, pubs, shops and restaurants. Many properties in Looe cannot offer parking, but we can. You can enjoy sitting in the garden and hear wide variety of birdsong.
