See, feel, smell and hear the ocean from your beach house! Just steps away from the beach, treat yourself to a get-away at this quaint cottage by the sea! Come and enjoy spacious decks with plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean at beautiful Dauphin Island.
- The house is equipped with Wi-Fi and cable television in each room with a large flat-screen in the living room, and bedrooms. The rooms have comfortable beds with large windows and doors that invite the ocean views right inside with you! - The Master Bedroom has doors leading out to a ocean view deck with lounge chairs just waiting for you to come and relax. The decks facing the ocean have 4 big rocking chairs with a bistro table for two! Downstairs is an outdoor gathering area with two 5ft. relaxing swings, and a dining table. While you are out on the decks, you don't want to miss the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the sunset with friends and family! There are two additional outdoor tables for dining and a bbq grill for your convenience. You can rent bikes and kayaks that will be delivered right to your door! There is a bike trail along the entire island for biking, jogging, walking, and skateboarding. Another favorite activity is surf fishing right out on 'your' beach!

Great home for the money! Very clean and great amenities! Spacious and comfortable. Living room furniture is nice and comfy. The beds were very comfy as well. Great porch and under house hang out areas. Very short walk to the beach. The surrounding restaurants on Dauphin Island were very close and were a lot of fun. Will be back and would stay at this home again.

Our experience was wonderful at the morning glory. There is an uncrowded beach a short walk from the house and it’s close enough to see and hear the waves from the wrap around porch. The host was very quick to respond to my questions and everything was tidy and clean upon arrival. This was a very comfortable home away from home for our family!

We had a wonderful stay! This was our 4th year and we love this house. It’s close to the beach and the porch swings under the house are a nice place to hang out. The rocking chairs on the wrap around porch are lovely for your morning coffee. The host has great communication!

The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of items that we needed for cooking. The access to the beach was an easy stroll. I always live visiting the island and I try out different homes just because I like to see ideas on decorating and home design.This one was a nice touch of both design and decorating. We loved the large wrap around porch so we could avoid the heat if needed. The spacious inside was nice for our group. A large kitchen table and the sectional in the living room area allowed plenty of comfortable seating. The bedrooms were nice, with comfortable mattresses to sleep. The bench swings under the house gave plenty of shade and breeze. That was one of my favorite resting places. The out door showers with privacy was absolutely the greatest need when coming back from the beach! This house provided boogie boards, sand toys, and other floating devices if you would choose. Sand chairs to use at the beach!We had all that we needed to do what we wanted. Thank you for allowing us to stay here! This may become a repeat place for us!Thank you!

This beach cottage we call 'Morning Glory' has been in our family for about 30 years! It has been a place for us as well as many other families to make special and lasting memories while building strong relationships. For others, it has been an amazing refuge for much needed get-away’s. Our mother bought this house after a terrible hurricane and transformed it into a 'home away from home' for her family and for those who just needed a place to go! We sincerely hope and pray that you will have the 'best of the best' times at the Morning Glory!
