Early Busby - Contemporary Single Family Home on the Sound with Jacuzzi tub

Early Busby is a wonderful contemporary single-family home on the North end of Wrightsville Beach. The house has 2 master bedroom suites, each with its own jacuzzi tub, plenty of space for the family to gather, and offers unbeatable sunsets off the sound front decks!

The first floor has access to the garage, and lower foyer. On the second floor you will find the main living area, including the large living room that is great for family movie night, and the dining room perfect for family meals. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to make dinner together, and there is bar seating in the kitchen for extra space! There is also a large screened in porch, as well as open balcony seating. On this level is also the first master suite with a large private bathroom, including a jacuzzi tub. The large sound facing deck on this floor has tons of seating and stair access to the private pier that is a great spot for fishing or putting in a kayak or paddle board.

The top floor has the additional three bedrooms. Two guest bedrooms each have two twin beds. There is also a twin bed with a trundle located in the alcove above the stairs. The second master suite has a king size bed as well, and a full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. There is also a sound front balcony, perfect to enjoy the evening breeze or a morning cup of coffee.

This house is lovely = well equipped -- beautiful views-- and very uncrowded beach. Perfect walk around the north point along the inlet. Enjoyed kayaking in the creek at high tide-- Highly recommend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view of the sound, the dock and the screened porch. The house is very well equipped and has a great layout for 2 families. We did have water issues with gray water and grit in the tubs when the hot water was used and this was a problem throughout the week. Bathroom plumbing needs to be updated...downstairs master shower was basically a trickle and the temperature was hard to regulate. Overall, the house is clean and has been maintained. Updating is needed in all bathrooms and kitchen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location overlooking the waterway. It's a great place from which to go paddle boarding and kayaking when the tide is up. It's also an easy walk to the beach. However, the "sleeps 10" is a bit misleading as the sofa bed in the loft really is not good for 2 people and one of the children had to sleep on an air mattress in the large walk in closet. It is also frustrating that although it "sleeps 10" the table only seats 6 and we brought a card table and extra folding chairs so that we can all eat dinner together. The decor is lovely and the place is bright and cheery but the DVD player did not work.

Roomy for eight with a little daybed alcove if someone needs their own space. Terrific bathrooms and a half bath on the first floor. Well supplied kitchen and an extra fridge downstairs for overflow. And the long pier reaches out to the bird-filled marsh. The. house is clean and linens supplied. We couldn’t be happier.

All was fine with the exception of the tv and Internet service. Each tv requires a couple of remotes and a page of instructions to turn it on. This year the internet service was so slow that we had to go to Panera to get a connection to use for work. Other than the tech stuff, everything was wonderful.

The property has been well kept and if feels like a home - not just a sterile rental property. Last time we used the kayaks. We expected them again so it was disappointing to see them chained up.
